Thanks again for the pics. Is the jacket cut differently? Bearer still looks chunkier to me! Mine came with a slit above the top button so you can see under the jacket a bit more than Gene’s, but I would imagine the same effect could be achieved with Gene’s jacket if you cut into it. I think Paul’s jacket may appear thicker because it sits looser on the torso. I guess black isn’t slimming after all! For anyone curious about Vader…  It does fit! The eyes may not always show through, but if you push down on it enough, they can be seen. Here are some more pics from different sides:     |

Just got mine. Solid set. Vader is a little tall, but that's my only complaint. The Paul Bearer head is by far the best head scan we've seen on a retro figure ever imo. I was just thinking, is this the first time since the series 1 Roman that we got the punching action for Jerry Lawler? I like the variety we got for the actions.

Yeah, I believe Roman is the only other puncher so far (and Billy Gunn will be the next).
Vader does seem like a big boy - he must be getting near to Andre’s height.

WOW! They look great next to the originals.
This is by FAR the best Retro set they've done. I can't believe we're taking such a step back with the line-up for the next wave.

It’s great to see the feedback on this series. Based on what I’ve seen here, on Twitter and on Facebook, this might be the most positively received series of the entire line.
Ironically, out of all 15 waves released to the point, it’s probably in the bottom 2-3 of the sets that I’ve looked forward to. Certainly bought it, 2 actually, but for whatever reason… wasn’t out of my shoes excited.
Now that I have them in hand, great set. Really well executed.
Now… on to the next set… Hogan, Studd, Richter and Ali. This IS a set I’m looking forward to. In fact, probably more than any wave except for Series 10.
Ironically again… feedback on the next wave is more mixed. LOL. Blows my mind because I think Hogan is incredible and Richter is really well done. Studd looks great and Ali, although somewhat fringe, is a cool addition.
Just goes to show how tough of a task Mattel has keeping everyone happy. No clear avenue to satisfy all.

Scale on Taker and Vader being off is a shame but Bearer and Lawler seem great.
I’ve bought every set so far but don’t be buying the next one, the line up and execution just not good.
