What I'd really love to see are some the old school tag teams (that are mostly unsigned as far as I know) like Demolition, Road Warriors/Legion Of Doom, Nasty Boys, Killer Bees, Bushwackers, The Islanders, Powers Of Pain, Money Inc, Brain Busters, and of course The Steiners. I'd say at least one of them should come with the tag team belts. I also wouldn'tind another Hart Foundation maybe in blue like they did with their Battle Pack. I don't get it though? Why release sets of figures that already had hasbros as its seems like a waste - lod, nastys, bushwhackers, money inc, steiners? Plus several of these are already signed: Road warriors has an epic and zst set coming. Bees - epic Powers of pain- already had an epic release last Yr Brain busters - upcoming grapplers and gimmicks release I'm not saying ur wrong as that's what u want yo see but personally I'd much rather get figures that haven't been released yet than rehash ones that are out. I'm not really into the copycat companies like epic or ZST. There's just too many of them trying to release too many figures for me to keep up. I doubt Mattel would make too many of the ones I mentioned, because they seem to not want to redo many Hasbros, but I'd like to see a lot of them re-done. I think they would look great. Besides, most of the Hasbros are crazy expensive. |

Wow - MOC, loose, and…? ? ? One for luck  I'll gift the third set to my young cousin - he seems to be the only 6 year old smart enough to recognise that the Hasbro-style figures are the best toys ever; knowing who the characters are is completely irrelevant to him  |

I received my Retros today already! The Shawn headscan is sooo much better than his first Retro (WM23). The Issac Yankeem one is probably my favorite overall. Such a cool figure! I love them all, and they come in these plastic protective cases, too.
Well done, Mattel.

It's well worth listening to this week's special interview with Steve Ozer on the 3 Points of Articulation podcast - lots of talk about the Retros, including how far in the future they are currently planning sets for Mattel Creations, some previously planned sets that have been pushed back for now, the process of bring the Retros back after the end of the original run, the thinking behind the Bloodline set, the relationship with Mattel Creations as a buyer, the performance of the current set, the future of adding new bodies, the Brother Love ring and much more.
They also discuss the other lines, but felt like 60% of it was Retros talk.
It's about an hour and a half. They said they would release a video version this week as well if you prefer that.
