Bill wasn't even certain that Retros would be back. In a response to a question, his exact words were "if and when Retros come back..." and pretty much avoided all other retro questions like the damn plague. isn't that because Bill isn't necessarily interested in the Retro line? he's clearly more focused on the Elite line because that's where the money is, and that's where the "cool" stuff happens
the Retros were primarily targeted at fans of the Hasbro figures, so I doubt he really cares if the line ever returns. it's like when everyone was up in arms that Ron Rudat didn't know everything there was to know about the Hasbro line - the guy was focused on GI Joe as he created it, he was just working on the WWF figures as a job, nothing more, nothing less. it simply paid his wages for that period

I'm not 100% sure, but from everything I remember it was a passion project that Bill wanted to create and work on. I thought I remembered reading that he grew up collecting and loving the Hasbro figures like the rest of us. If anyone else can clarify, but pretty sure. To me if anything it seemed like the guy that took over for Bill was more in the Rudat position and looking over his shoulder at other projects he wanted to work on-just had the Retros dropped off at his doorstep.

This sounds on point. All i know is what I had heard him day during his interview at SDCC. He seemed to quickly brush off any and all questions about retros and stated that he hadn't worked on them in a long time.

Anyone been finding anything new at Target? I picked up the last Jericho at the 2nd closest store to me today, to use for customs later. Now, nothing left but a couple Sheamus around here.

The two closest Target have a few each of Series 8. The Walmarts, nada, nothing clearance or new.

I just saw on Twitter that more people are finding Series 8 at TJ Maxx now. Looks like that might be one of the final resting places for the line. lol

Finally found Braun and Iron Sheik at TJ Maxx. 4.99 each. Really wish this line didn't have so many problems. Here's hoping it doesn't go away completely. I feel like this would be better as an online exclusive line with a price closer to a retail market so the figures would go straight to who wants them. I understand that's not the perfect solution and that's there's likely a reason they haven't done that, but I'm just trouble shooting.

I actually wish there was some way to just make them exclusives to a place like Five Below where they end up anyway. lol Not to mention they'd probably be stocked a lot better. Part of the fun for me is going out and finding them in stores like I did when I was a kid, and getting them at pretty much the same price too would be awesome.
