Just a reminder, they didn’t confirm them for the line yet today, but they do have them signed and both are a no brainer for the line at some point. Boss Fight reveals are in a little over an hour. Can't wait! Honestly this is de facto the line I’m most excited about now that WWE has so many errors, New Japan can’t meet a deadline, and AEW pissed me off with numbered chases. And I don’t even know anything about lucha |

Also this line can help fill in some gaps in other companies like WCW’s cruiserweight division |

They're expecting the first painted samples of Penta and Fenix from the factory (the ones we've seen were hand painted) any day now, but they're still on schedule so late November still seems to be the window.

I like that the heads are done as three separate pieces: The mask itself, the eye piece and the mouth. Gives depth and looks more realistic this way.

They have 4-5 waves of Fanaticos planned.
Fanaticos Wave 2 has Vampiro (the early 90s EMLL one we already saw the concept art for), Ultimo Dragon, Black Taurus, El Hijo del Perro Aguayo
Multiple Vampiro figures planned, so he's going to be in the Collector's Line. Ultimo is also planned for the Collector's Line, Erik sees him being one of the keystones.

Great line-up for Fanaticos Series Two.
The protos of Fanaticos Series One look really good. Going to go preorder them now.
I wish they had shown more for the Collectors line. Maybe renders for Series Three, or announced who is in Series Four.

I'm not a huge Lucha Libre guy but these figures look pretty cool. I've actually been looking for a mask to use for a Mattel Patriot fixup, so I think I'm going to get this set:  I know it's not quite accurate, and to Lucha fans it will probably look downright ridiculous, but as long as the mask can fit a Mattel head, I think it's gonna have to be good enough for me! I'd love a facepainted Vampiro as well... I was a huge fan of him in WCW! |
