Heenan starts off the show trashing Jack Tunney for forcing Flair to defend his title up against the Undertaker. Razor agrees with Heenan. Vince takes us to the match "in progress" (the match was originally shown on Superstars in Europe)

Winner: The Undertaker via DQ after Mr. Perfect smashes Taker with a chair. Taker still lands a tombstone on Flair for the pinfall, but it was a DQ. Flair retains the WWF title.

Vince announces that a special event with WAR (a promotion) in Japan is taking place and this upcoming Prime Time Wrestling episode, the main event of that event will be Ric Flair defending the WWF title up against one of Japan's best Genichiro Tenryu (former AJPW Triple Crown Champ). Mr. Perfect tells Vince that it's going to be Flair's biggest match in his career, but he will overcome.

After an update showing Taker beating Flair by DQ this past week, the Undertaker cuts a promo:



Paul Bearer: Oooo yesss my Undertaker hasn't forgotten about you Ric Flair, you may have gotten away this time, but my Undertaker has his eyes set on your gold!

Undertaker: Ric Flair....we have met...we have clashed...now I have come for not only your gold, but your soul...

Paul: That's right Ric Flair my Undertaker issues out a challenge, a rematch for that strap you so much desired in all the worlds!

That's right line up like the rest of them, Savage...Warrior...line up like them all because everyone wants a shot at my championship, but the Nature Boy ain't stylin for no reason, I got the gold, the fancy cars, the lovely ladies and most of all to be the man...you got to beat the man!" (Mr. Perfect nods and laughs during the promo)

Highlights from Survivor Series 1991 are shown including the Undertaker winning the WWF Championship (they only show Taker with the strap, barely any shots of Hogan and no mention of Flair helping).



Vince: What a show that was and what a show it will be. Could the Undertaker become the two-time WWF Champion? Jack Tunney this coming Prime Time will be announcing the main event of that show, there has been some rumours it could be a double main event, while backstage rumblings suggest that you Mr. Perfect are trying to get Flair into a tag match up against the Ultimate Maniacs?



Mr. Perfect: You know something Vince I've been thinking about coming back to the ring and give them all a piece of my mind. Razor Ramon wants a piece of them. Maybe the three of us should gang up on those two bozos.

Vince: What a match that would be!

"There are many top contenders for the WWF Championship, but only one will challenge Ric Flair at Survivor Series, and he will be the Undertaker. After careful review of their previous confrontation, I have made a decision that there must be a clean winner in this match, by pinfall or submission. Also, there will be no outside interference, which will be an automatic suspension for whoever interferes, and I will be watching this match closely."



Vince: I can't believe it! There you have it folks Jack Tunney has confirmed that Ric Flair will be taking on the Undertaker for the WWF Championship at Survivor Series! What a match this is going to be. Last year at Survivor Series, the Gravest Challenge it was, and the Undertaker came out as the WWF Champion. We could very well see him with the title once more!

Mr. Perfect: You got to be kidding me McMahon.

Heenan: I can't believe this, now what about the Ultimate Maniacs challenge, it was going to be Flair and Razor Ramon who wanted to team up to take them on, now that Flair is being forced to defend the WWF title...

Duggan: O shutup Weasal the bottom line is Flair is the WWF Champion so he has to defend the title.



Mr. Perfect: (stands) You know something I've had it up to hear with you (Duggan) talking down on the Brain here (stares at camera) and I had enough of all the crap the Ultimate Maniacs have been saying about Ric Flair, the greatest no doubt the greatest champion the WWF has ever seen. And because of this I'm coming out of retirement, that's right (Heenan shouts yes!) Razor, it looks like you need a tag team partner, well I'm Flair's executive consultant, and it's time that I strap my boots on and step in the ring with you to take on those Ultimate Chumps!

Vince: Unbelievable! Looks like we definitely are getting a Double Main Event at Survivor Series!

"Jack Tunney! (flips around and Perfect steps away) Jack Tunney wants to screw the Nature Boy (shouts in anger)! You want me to fail, you want no DQ, no countout...but let me tell you something Jack, I'm going to be training harder then I ever have, harder then you could imagine, because at Survivor Series, the Nature Boy ain't going down! I ain't going down Jack because when I beat Savage to become WWF Champion for a second time, when I locked in him in that figure-four lock as I am going to do to the Undertaker, he was screaming in pain! He was screaming for help! He saw the light in the sky baby, and fainted! Dead man or alive, it ain't gonna matter to me because I will walk away with the gold as the stylin high flyin biggest son of a gun you've ever met Wooo!"

Mr. Perfect vignette is shown training at the gym for his comeback at Survivor Series. Heenan and Perfect gloat about it. Heenan says that Mr. Perfect could beat both Savage and the Warrior on any given day of the week. Vince says he isn't sure if Mr. Perfect will work well in a tag-team, and Perfect says he's the perfect tag team partner and Razor Ramon is a good friend of his and the Nature Boy.

(a bit of change from the ending of the vide) Warrior chases after Mr. Perfect. Flair tries to get out of the ring till suddenly, the arena goes dark and the light turns on to show the Undertaker dragging a casket down the aisle! Ric Flair looks frightened, he jumps back in the ring.



Taker brings it close to the ring and it's engraved "Here lies Ric Flair". Flair jumps the railings into the crowd as Taker rolls his eyes up for a commercial break.

Mr. Perfect at the round table trashes Warrior and says that Taker had no business being out there. Jim argues that Warrior was double teamed.

Vince: Folks rumours were going around this weekend that the Ultimate Warrior will not be at Suvivor Series as part of the double main event, and I have actually confirmed this with President Jack Tunney that it's actually true. Jack Tunney has issued out a notice to Randy "Macho Man" Savage that he will have to find a tag team partner within 24 hours (Heenan and Perfect are celebrating with drinks). So with us live tonight from Sarasota, Florida, we have the Macho Man Randy Savage! (shows up on screen) Macho Man we would like to know have you thought of a partner just as yet and just how will you in such short notice, even find a tag team partner?



Macho: Ooo ya it's a tough one ya, I mean I don't mind taking on Razor Ramon and Mr. Perfect on all my own ya...

Perfect: O give me a break Macho Man, you couldn't even beat me in a match on the best of your days.

Macho: Tell that chump to shut his mouth ya because the Macho Man is talkin ya but when I was told that Warrior wasn't going to make it ya...you know I felt kinda down ya but that's life you have to go on ya you gotta be a man and keep fighting and so I thought about it and I don't believe I have to even give Jack Tunney 24 hours because I already found a partner ooo ya!



Vince: Wait if you found a tag team partner do tell us just who is it?

Macho: Ya I'll tell you but I'll give you a hint ya, he's beaten you on your best day Mr. Perfect ya...(Heenan and Perfect are wondering who it is)...in fact I think this guy is the one who put you into retirement in the first place ya and he can put you out again once more on the sidelines ya!

Perfect: Wait...you can't mean it? Look that was a long time ago, and I'm still perfect, more than you know I'm the greatest WWF wrestler there is.

Vince: Are you saying that...that it's him...

Macho: Ooo ya I'm talking about a man who beat the undefeated at Wrestlemania ya (Piper), I'm talking about a man who headlined SummerSlam, ya I'm talking about the one and only Bret "the Hitman" Hart!

Heenan: Bret Hart I will say sure he's a great technical wrestler, but I can't believe I'm saying this, but comparing Bret Hart to the Warrior is like a grape seed to a watermelon, both got no brains, but at least one is larger then the other....



Bret: (appears on screen with Macho) You know something Bobby Heenan, I may not got all the big muscles you bozos seem to be afraid of, but I am the excellence of execution. I've been a former two-time Intercontinental Champion...

Perfect: Yeah hear that former...former champion, you know something you may be right Macho. This is the man that may have put me on the sidelines and as much as I enjoy being an executive consultant, I enjoy performing in the ring even more. If you think Bret that it's going to be like it was before you're dead wrong and that's just perfect.

Bret: O we'll see about that at Survivor Series.

Macho: Ooo ya you better watch out Razor Ramon and Mr. Perfect you're going down ooo ya!

Later in the show Vince McMahon announces that next week's episode is Survivor Series Showdown '92.
