You got to think WWF officials would’ve stopped having the ring bell at ringside.. Also is Owen going to turn face?

Monday Night RAW August 8th, 1994 Hosts: Vince McMahon and Jim RossVince talks about the attack last week on Owen Hart by the hands of Randy Savage (highlights shown) who has injured him and that Owen will be out of action. Since Owen won't be able to make it for SummerSlam, a new No. 1 contender has yet to be determined. At the home of Bret "the Hitman" Hart: "You know ever since the Royal Rumble, my baby brother Owen has been on my back. He challenged me and he outsmarted me at Wrestlemania and beat me fair and square. But for months on end he has been wanting a title shot. And after the King of the Ring, I was ready for him. He deserved the crown, deserved a shot at the WWF Championship, but something happened.
You see Randy Savage I once had all the respect in the world for you. You talk about how you're the old dog, well Savage, I never saw you as one. You belong in any generation and I know you got years and years left in you, but now...you made it personal. You put my baby brother in the hospital bed with tubes down his throat (gets angry), that I saw his wife weep for days on end. No matter what this family conflict we had between two brothers, at the end of the day we're family. And family is what matters to me. When Owen recovers ya I will give him a title shot that's up to him and he deserve is.
But I thought long and hard about SummerSlam and Macho King, you don't have to worry about Jack Tunney because I'm putting the challenge to you Macho King for the WWF Championship. The one thing you want so bad, and know this I'll make you submit right in the middle of the ring and the match won't just be dedicated to my brother Owen, it will be dedicated to all the fans you betrayed around the world to all the little kids and all the little charities you turned your back on (gets up from his chair) I'm going to beat you Savage so bad you'll never challenge for the WWF title ever again." Lex Luger def. Chad Miller
Bam Bam Bigelow & IRS def. Tatanka & Doink

Monday Night RAW September 26th, 1994 Hosts: Vince McMahon and Jim RossThere were only two previous episodes of RAW that month and since they were taped shows on August 15th, before SummerSlam, only highlights of SummerSlam is shown. Essentially this is the RAW after SummerSlam. Owen Hart did a promo on Superstars ("struggling with his voice") as to why he attacked Bret. He said he hated Savage at first and did cheer on Bret, but when he saw Bret's "stupid face", he just couldn't do it. He blames Bret for his injury and that if Bret had given him a title shot right after Wrestlemania X none of this would've happened. Owen says he wanted to hurt Bret and the only way to do that was to cost him the WWF title and that he did. Owen says he now respects Savage because Savage fights for what he wants and he fought hard to get a title shot. King's Court with Jerry Lawler. Lawler: Ladies and idiots, I want to bring out your new WWF Champion, the Macho King Randy Savage! (Savage is out to much heat) Randy: Ooo ya I told you ya I told the world that the Macho King would do a three-peet ya, I did before when I beat Yokozuna right in the middle of the ring ya and I did it again ya and now I am the King and WWF Champion ya and no one can stop me ya. Monday Night RAW October 17th, 1994 Hosts: Vince McMahon and Jerry LawlerVince McMahon is in the middle of the ring and calls out the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels. Vince: Shawn I have to say on Monday Night RAW a few weeks back you won the battle royal to become the No.1 contender for the WWF Championship. This has to be your biggest challenge yet. HBK: Everyone knows that the Heartbreak Kid is the future of the New Generation, and what an opportunity it is to face the Macho King and take the gold. I got all the respect for him, but Macho, your time has come and at the Survivor Series... Diesel starts walking out to a mixed reaction and some champagne.
Diesel: I thought about it long and hard Shawn, and I think we need a celebration. Shawn grabs it. Shawn: Look big guy I'm sorry but I had to do what I had to do to win. Diesel: Just like how you cost me the Intercontinental title. Shawn: Like I said I'm sorry then and I'm sorry now. Diesel: You're right and I accept your apology. Diesel has two glasses and Macho pours in the champagne.

Monday Night RAW October 31st, 1994 Hosts: Vince McMahon and Jerry LawlerRandy "Macho King" Savage (c) (w/Diesel) def. 1-2-3 Kid via pinfall to retain the WWF Championship.
This was more of a squash match for Randy. Diesel beat up the Kid on the outside several times and Randy lands an elbow drop finisher three minutes in the match. Shawn Michaels cuts a promo from San Antonio. Shawn: I never thought in a million years that the big man, Diesel who I might I add, I brought into the WWF in the first place, would betray me like this. All the respect in the world I had for Randy Savage is gone, you're no King of any thing you never earned that crown and I have challenged for the WWF title before, but this I know will be my greatest moment because at the Survivor Series after I land the sweet chin music right over that smirk of yours, Diesel...you're next. Wrestling Observer NewsletterSPECIAL EMERGENCY ISSUE November 5th, 1994
BREAKING NEWS: MAJOR CONTRACT DISPUTE WITH WWF CHAMPION RANDY SAVAGE
The racket backstage going on as we speak is surrounding a contractual dispute between Randy Savage who is the current WWF Champion and Titan Sports. Randy's contract had come up on October 31st, however negotiations fell through and he is currently not on a new contract despite being the current WWF Champion.
The new contract that was offered limited Randy Savage from being a full-time performer, and would've placed Randy back on commentary for Monday Night RAW as a heel commentator and would once again host WWF Mania, but as a heel host with Todd Pettingel. Randy believes that he has a few more years left to offer and at least a year as a main eventer. He wants a long-term feud with Shawn Michaels and it's believed that the current feud was Randy's idea in the first place, however Vince McMahon has his eyes now on Diesel to be his next guy, who is seven years younger than the current champ. When asked about Shawn becoming his babyface champion Vince replied: "There is no way in hell he's going to ever be my champion".
Randy Savage is currently not on a contract, however he did appear on the Vancouver house show (a sell out) on November 4th when he faced Bret Hart do a double countout. House show numbers are up, SummerSlam was a success and did better than last year. It would seem Savage's heel turn and run has been doing better than his face title run in 1992 and perhaps it was the reason why Vince placed the title on him, but this sudden change when business is doing better than last year around this time baffles me. I believe that Randy will show up at the Survivor Series and if a new contract is not signed, he may look towards contacting Ted Turner in the future, though I can't see how he could work with Hulk Hogan.

Monday Night RAW, November 7th, 1994 episode opens up with highlights with a quick video footage from a last night house show at the Philadelphia Spectrum when Bret the Hitman Hart defeated Randy Macho King Savage to become the new three-time WWF Champion. Vince McMahon later in the show: Vince: (a shoot) I would like to make an official announcement that as of this morning, Randy Macho King Savage will no longer be competing in the World Wrestling Federation as we failed to reach an agreement on a new contract. Savage has had a great career in the WWF, as three time WWF Champion, and we are surely going to miss him and I wish him the best of luck in his future endeavours. Aftermath: - Savage signs a new deal with WCW, and a few months later brings Slim Jim along with him. - Shawn and Diesel make up again, Shawn turns heel again at the Survivor Series leading the team of the Teamsters vs. The Bad Guys, but managed to lose with Shawn costing Diesel the match and Diesel chasing him out of the building. - Owen Hart defeats Bret Hart at the Survivor Series for the WWF Championship in a submission match after Bret wouldn't tap out but Bret's mom threw in the towel for the loss. - Owen Hart loses the WWF title three days later to Diesel at a house show. 5. Bret Hart as the Third Man in the nWo
Many fans know by now that Bret "the Hitman" Hart was one of the few considered to be the possible third man in the Outsiders, which would become the New World Order. Scott Hall tried to convince Bret to join, but Bret wanted to get a better deal from the WWF since he had become a free agent, which is the only reason why he was negotiating with WCW in the first place. We all know the story, Bret gets a new deal in late 1996 from Vince, who was hesitant to offer it in the first place, at around $1.5 million/yr for three years, and a six-figure income for the following seventeen years. And when Vince realized he couldn't afford Bret any longer, the chain of events led to the Montreal Screwjob. In this timeline, what if Vince tells Bret he can't offer him the kind of money he was looking for and that he should really try WCW. Bret wakes up one morning looking at how successful his run was in the WWF, how Vince chose Shawn Micheals in the first place as the face of the WWF, and calls up Eric Bischoff shortly before Bash at the Beach 1996 to join the WCW. This is a "What If" Bret Hart joined WCW in 1996 and became the third man of the nWo...

RISE OF THE nWo Bash at the Beach July 7th, 1996 Daytona Beach, Florida Hosts: Tony Shiavone, Bobby Heenan, Dusty Rhodes and Mike Tenay.............................................. MAIN EVENT: The Outsiders (Nash & Hall) vs. Randy Savage & Sting & Lex Luger in a Tag Team Match.
The match went on exactly as it did with Nash and Hall saying the third man is here but they got this. Near the end, Nash accidentally knocks down the referee in a desperate running clothesline on the Sting as both men lay on the mat. Macho Man is out cold on the outside and Lex and Hall are beating each other up in the ring. Lex manages to get in the torture rack on Hall though no ref. Suddenly someone from the crowd jumps over the railings, is fully hooded in black with a baseball bat and wacks the bat over Lex's gut! Heenan shouts "is that the third man!" Sting is up and the hooded man strikes him with the bat over his gut and back three times. He throws away the bat and reveals himself to be Bret Hart! The crowd is in shock, WCW commentators say it's definitely an invasion. Bret grabs Sting and locks in the sharpshooter for a whole minute and Sting is completely outcold! The ref is finally awake and calls for the bell. Winner: The Outsiders with Bret Hart via submission. Mean Gene is in the ring to interview. Mean: In all my years in this industry I have never imagined the Hitman to be here tonight, but all for the wrong reasons. Bret: You know something Scheme Gene. While that company up north wants to flash their boy toy on TV, I've come out here for two reasons, the first is with my best friends out here, Nash and Hall, we're here to take over WCW and second, I've come down to where the big boys play with themselves to challenge you Hulk Hogan. Ya I know you can hear me down at Venice Beach while you're sipping on your margiratas or whatever bs drink you got in your hand right now, while you see the pile of trash in this ring beaten putting down rabid dogs, o ya the fans see the kind of hypocrite you are Hulk. Where are you Hogan? Why aren't you out here saving WCW? After all, I was promised once by you a title shot, and I remember all so well when I was a World Champion, that you wouldn't even shake my hand. Well face it you're a piece of $hit, you don't got the guts to come out here and save WCW, so I'm calling you out and boys (looks at Nash and Hall), we're going to unleash some hell on this place (drops the mic as they hug it out). Tony: (on commentary) I can't believe what we've just seen Bret "the Hitman" Hart is here in a WCW ring, and he's calling out for Hulk Hogan. Heenan: (on commentary) I know you and I have never seen eye to eye Hogan, but damn it you better be here because WCW needs you.

Will we see how this affects the WWF as well or is that going to be a separate story?

WCW Nitro July 8th, 1996 Hosts: Tony Schiavone, Bobby Heenan & Larry ZbyszkoWCW Champions List Update:
WCW World Champion: The Giant (4/29/1996) WCW U.S. Champion: Ric Flair (7/7/1996) WCW World Tag Team Champions: Harlem Heat (6/24/1996) WCW World Television Champion: Lex Luger (3/6/1996) WCW World Cruiserweight Champion: Dean Malenko (5/18/1996)
The Outsiders with Bret enter the ring as Tony and Larry say what the heck are they doing here. They start taking signs from fans about WCW and tearing them apart and mocking fans. They get in the ring and Mean Gene rushes out to get a word. Gene: Bret Hart can I get a word.... Bret: No (the three laugh) Gene: O come on Bret, you're out here disrupting Nitro we have a show tonight...(security follow out and surround the ring) Nash: Why don't you just shut it Gene. Hall: Before we retire you here man (laughs) Gene: I got a lawyer don't you even think about it (hurting me) Bret: Where is Hogan? I don't see him in the back? What do you even want Gene? Gene: I have to ask you why do you want to destroy WCW, I mean I've known you since you were wrestling for your dad in Calgary, every company you worked for you respected and had a tremendous career, but everyone wants clear answers I know you're here to challenge Hulk Hogan, but why do you want to be with the likes of these Outsiders? Bret: Gene what you're looking at here is the New World Order and we're here to take over the world of professional wrestling. Gene: But why? Bret: Why? You ask me that? You know full well why because I'm sick and tired of seeing these has-beens like Hulk Hogan get millions of dollars and movie deals with WCW, I'm sick and tired of seeing the Nacho Man get dollar bills thrown at him by Ted Turner like he was the most popular stripper... Gene: This is a family friendly show Bret! (since it's in Disney MGM) Bret: And then I see Ric Flair, how old is he now (gets heat)? Why is Ric Flair still wrestling? This is a guy who wouldn't give me the time of the day when he was working for the big guy up north. He's a jet-flying rich bastard. You see Ted Turner pays these has-beens millions of dollars and yet wouldn't even give us younger guys a chance, not even a fraction of how much they get. Gene: So this is about money? Bret: Everything is about money, and the only way I see it is we have to take down every last WCW star there is so that Ted Turner has nothing left and he will be forced to sell WCW for 20 cents on the street (gets heat) Gene: I think it's time for you guys to leave (security get in and they finally leave laughing and taunting WCW fans). Rey Mysterio Jr def. Dean Malenko (c) to become the NEW WCW Cruiserweight Champion.
The Blue Bloods def. Big Bubba & Hugh Morris

Gene is in the ring with Sting for an interview. Sting had wrestled with a "bad back" due to the hands of Bret. Sting: I knew it all along, who better to lead the Outsiders than Bret Hart who is walking on the dark side. You were hero Bret to fans around the world, to all the little kids who looked up to you but now you can stick it punk (Gene apologizes again) and you're calling for Hulk Hogan, you don't worry about Hulk Hogan, you should worry about me, step in the ring with me I'll make it worse for you than you can possibly imagine and you'll be remembered like a grain of sand in the desert.

Loving this so far, I bet Bret and Sting will face off at Hog Wild and Bret will win (although by the help of the Outsiders). Is Hogan still facing The Giant?

WCW Nitro July 15th, 1996 Hosts: Tony Schiavone, Larry Zbyszko and Bobby Heenan
Major stars are overseas in a two day tour for New Japan. Highlights are shown from Bash at the Beach and the following night of Bret Hart talking about taking over the WCW with the nWo. The Steiner Brothers def. Fire and Ice
Dean Malenko def. Billy Kidman
Harlem Heat (c) def. Rough n' Ready to retain the World Tag Team titles
Madusa def. Malia Hosaka
Meng def. Arn Anderson
Eddie Guerrero def. Chris Benoit via countout
Lex Luger (c) vs. Big Bubba Rogers for the WCW World Television ChampionshipDuring the match, Bret, Nash and Hall walk out to a mixed reaction. Bret has an aluminum baseball bat with him as they start taunting WCW fans. As the match continues all three jump in the ring. Luger tells Bubba to stop and they both agree. The ref already calls for the bell. Winner: No Contest
Luger runs after Bret, but Bret smashes him with the bat over his gut and back. Nash and Hall beat down on Bubba who falls to the outside. Hall is on the outside kicking down Bubba and taunting everyone till he finds the TV title and brings it in with him. Bret gets a mic: Bret: Hey Hulk Hogan where are you? Sting you can't do $hit and you know it and as for you Lex Luger laying there like the punk that you are...guys just beat him up a little more will ya (Nash and Hall beat Lex more and toss him to the outside) he makes me sick. Hall: Hey Bret check out this belt they got here in WCW. Bret: (laughs) What is this...a World TV Champion? Who the hell wants a World TV Champion? Suddenly Bret throws down the belt on the mat and starts bashing it with his bat! Hall and Nash join in kicking the belt! Bret gets the mic again. Bret: You know this belt needs a facelift. Nash grabs a spraycan he had with him and starts spraying nWo over the belt! Hall: WCW, we're here now and we're here to stay to end you chico. Tony and Larry are absolutely disgusted. Heenan talks about how many greats have held that title belt like Ivan Koloff, Dusty Rhodes, Sting, Arn Anderson, Paul Orndorff, and many more. He wonders where the hell Hulk Hogan is and wishes Sting was here at the least as Nitro goes off air.

WCW Nitro July 22nd, 1996 Hosts: Tony Schiavone, Eric Bischoff, Bobby Heenan, and Larry Zbyszko Tony: We have breaking news here tonight on Monday Nitro, Hulk Hogan will be making his WCW return at Hog Wild to take on The Giant for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. If Hulk Hogan loses, he will retire from professional wrestling. Hulk Hogan had this to say from this past episode of WCW Saturday Night when he was interviewed about his return and about the New World Order invading the WCW. Hulk (interview): You know Hulkamaniacs I've been shooting my next movie brother, and I've been watching real close and how the good for nothing Outsiders have come into the WCW trying to take over. I'm absolutely disgusted with their thug like behaviour and how they desecrated the TV Championship belt. As for my return, yes I will return to WCW at Hog Wild brother, and my offer stands to The Giant, put the gold on the line and I'll put up my career so whacha gonna do WCW when Hulk Hogan returns and beats the Giant to once again become the WCW World Heavyweight Champion! As Nitro airs, Bret, Hall and Nash take over a production truck to watch Nitro. They are shown throughout the night watching and making fun of some of the stars. Bret talks about every single person in the damn building would tap out of the sharpshooter and WCW is an embarrassment. Squire David Taylor def. Scott Norton
Konnan def. VK Wallstreet
Alex Wright, Jim Powers, Gomez, & Renegade def. The Dungeon of Doom (Morrus, Sullivan, Barbarian & Leprechaun)
DDP def. Prince Laukea
At the second half of the show, Ric Flair with the US title shows up and gets on the mic. Flair: I'm out here because I've got something to say that I know everyone wants me to talk about and that's about the so-called Outsiders and the nWo. Anyone who attacks the sanctity of World Championship Wrestling attacks me! I am WCW! So if you want to destroy WCW you got to go through me! I'm a high flyin jet skiing son of a gun who has held the World title 13 times and how many have you held Bret Hart? Because as far as I am concerned you couldn't even do more than 3 and you've fought for a long time ever since you worked for Stu and trained with sweat and tears in that dungeon and still could only manage 3. While you were still training, I was high-flying with the ladies and world championships right left and centre (Bret walks out with the Outsiders)....while....o look at who we have here (nWo are in the ring). Bret: (gets another mic) The reason why (laughs) the reason why I haven't had that many championships is well let's face it Ric I mean look at you... Hall: He looks like a senior citizen (they laugh) Flair: (gets pissed and starts taking off his shirt) What did you say? What did you say! (Heenan talks about how Flair is by himself and he shouldn't be) Bret: Maybe when I'm your age I'll have 20 championships, but to be honest that's not anything special because I don't believe you've ever held the title long enough anyway. Remember when we last fought in the ring? Do you remember how you were beaten and I took away the World title from you? What makes you think you can call me out here. The one person I really want is Hulk Hogan ha, and look at Hogan making his movies and millions of dollars and what did he do to deserve a title shot? He's been gone for months and WCW gives him a title shot? That's bull$hit and now I got this geezer... Suddenly Flair starts lashing out and the nWo leave the ring! Flair: How about you shut your mouth and face me in the ring woooo! At Hog Wild I'll put the US title on the line (Hall and Nash sneak up behind him) and you as everyone out here knows will know what the Nature Boy is all about Wooo (Nash and Hall strike him down!) Bret: (gets back in the ring and on the mic) guys guys leave him he might break a bone in that fragile body of his and I won't have a match. I accept Flair (laughs to a lot of heat). Bischoff says Bret has disgraced professional wrestling.Dean Malenko def. Chavo Guerrero Jr.
Meng def. Ice-Train via DQ
Eddie Guerrero def. Psychosis
Lex Luger, Randy Savage & Sting def. The Four Horsemen of Arn, Benoit, and McMichael The nWo leave the production truck and start trashing it and TV sets with baseball bats as Nitro goes off air!
