I don't wanna be negative. I wanna be excited for this news. However, as long as Vince McMahon is THE Man in charge, i don't have much faith that change is coming. I hope I'm wrong

Honestly the way things are going with AEW I half expected Bischoff to sign with them as GM or some other antiquated crap

Just keep Bischoff off TV & out of the story lines, please. Hes said in recent interviews that he has no interest in an on screen role. Who knows though.

We wanted something different, this is it. This is huge news. I have always wanted Eric & Paul to help with creative in some form or fashion, so better late than never. Between Prichard, Bischoff, & Heyman WWE has rehired some of the biggest names as of late. I like it.

As long as they keep Russo away, I'm all for it. I'm actually excited about this news! I would actually like to see that happen just for a laugh since all he does now is talk about how much he doesn't like pro-wrestling at all and has a podcast show that features him making fun of 'marks'/smarks.

very cool! I’m a big fan of Heyman.
I guess this is Vince’s answer to the XFL’s demands.

How long until one of them is too frustrated and throws the towel?

I’m literally shocked. My jaw dropped when I saw this news, it’s absolutely insane. Hopefully, it will produce the results we all want and we get a better product for both shows.

It's funny how the AEW bedwetters are shaming the WWE for doing this. But if it were the other way, it would be the greatest thing that could ever happen. It's a good move on Vince to do this. I'm sure it cost him a lot of cash to pull this off. People forget that Vince has had his back against the wall many times in the past but yet he was able to beat whatever was a threat to him. And AEW isn't even a threat to be honest.
The days ahead should be very interesting.

So I do have to wonder.... is this a snub towards Stephanie and Triple H?? It seems like those are positions that they would be taking on and Vince gives it to two guys who ran wrestling promotions 25 years ago. Triple H and Stephanie already have jobs. Stephanie left creative years ago.

We beg for the "glory days" of wrestling...well between Vince, Heyman, Bischoff and Bruce, we have pretty much every "mind" that created every successful storyline in the past 30-40 years.

Not a snub, if Vince died tmw the company would still go to HHH and Steph. And if it were up to HHH he could eliminate the new positions. Sounds to me like Vince will still be the puppet master, but he's loosening the reigns a bit and finally trusting some other great wrestling minds to get back on track. This is a gigantic move.

And as an AEW supporter i can confidently say theyd of never done this has it not been for AEW. Ive told people from the beginning, if AEW fails in a year, they still won becuase theyve caused a shift in the business.

Am I the only one who hates that WWE posts this type of stuff on their website and social media? I know Kayfabe is dead but they aren’t even trying.
