I do. It's over in October of 2008. Put the TNA bias aside, he's out. And you know this how? Let me guess, he's your good friend. You talk to him all the time. He invited you to sleep over at his house last weekend. Bull ****. I believe TNA over you. They reported that AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, and Samoa Joe signed until 2009. JSWO knows these guys personally.

I know this because I've been privlidged to work with Joe and drive Joe around, as well as supplying him numerous DVDs over the last few years. I've even been fortunate enough to get drunk with Joe several times. I consider Joe a friend, yes. I have not been to his apartment, in Huntington Beach however, nor do I have plans to, but thanks for asking. You can call it bull crapall you'd like. That TNA bias is strong in you grasshopper. I understand nobody wants the promotion in their hometown to lose a top star, but with all the bull craphe's talked about and poked fun at(tripping over bad booking), maybe it's time you faced reality. Joe's contract expires, just as I stated in October of 2008. Believe what you prefer, it's your choice. Just don't go crying when the truth bites you in the ass.

Even if it IS October 2008, that's still a long time away. If TNA offers Joe a hefty sum of money, along with the World Title reign he'll probably get soon, Joe won't say no. I don't give a who knows him personally. Money talks. And that's just how the world works.

But like I said, by the time October 2008 rolls around, TNA might be a lot bigger than it is now. A lot more wrestlers will be established. If Joe turns down the money TNA will offer him, just to step back down to Ring of Honor, than that's his choice. A stupid choice, but his choice none the less.

You do know ROH has made a profit right? TNA hasn't, you know that right? You do know ROH has a PPV right? You also know what the GPWA is right? TNA can't match the standing offer nor can they match Joe's dream of main eventing NOAH.

Don't count your chickens before they hatch on Homicide either. With PPV, ROH is no longer just internet fans.

Hate to interject, but I'm sure Joe will sign the contract eventually. Like Prodigy said, TNA will be bigger by then. Also, TNA is building up Joe vs. Angle @ BFG, and I'm sure Joe will win.
The money-making factor really isn't fair. TNA has a national TV deal, monthly PPV, trading cards, soon a video game, main stream DVD distribution, etc. ROH is performing in crapholes and having people on the internet buying their DVDs.
Sure they have a PPV deal, but the only ones ordering the PPVs are internet fans anyway.

TNA can't match the standing offer nor can they match Joe's dream of main eventing NOAH. TNA have lost millions of dollars but they are now making money instead of losing it. They have action figures, a TV deal (an upcoming one with Fox), a video game which your boy Samoa Joe is helping to produce, and much more. Joe has been in Ring of Honor, dominated in Ring of Honor, and he took the next step to TNA. He did interviews which I can probably find where he was talking about being happy that he signed with TNA and he still intends to do dates with Ring of Honor in his spare time. Of course, now that TNA wrestlers can't work with ROH, it might be a whole different story. It seems your jumping to conclusions now. Just because Joe isn't happy now after his whole feud with Angle, doesn't mean he is going to feel that way next year. For all you know, he'll be perfectly happy in TNA next year and re-sign. On the other hand, yes, he could leave TNA. But no matter what you say or how good of friends you are with Joe, it's too early to tell. That's my opinion, you aren't going to change it, but feel free to argue what I said if that makes you happy.

Ugh, the TNA marks in this thread are pathetic. Glad to see an intelligent, well thought out response to the subject at hand. You have not contributed to any of this discussion, you are just puckering up and kissing ROH ass while showing your dislike for TNA. I'm not going to lie, I watch the WWE. I watch TNA. Hell, I even saw Ring of Honor's pay-per-view two days ago at my friends house. So isn't the phrase "TNA mark" used too loosely these days? And besides, it takes a mark to know a mark.

I'm happy there getting out of Orlando for the PPV's. As for Joe, I'd like him to stay in TNA, but the way the company has been doing, I could see why he might walk out. I was watching TNA every week when they moved to Spike, but now, I hardly watch it. They seriously need to can Russo and get bookers who know something about wrestling.

Ugh, the TNA marks in this thread are pathetic. I agree. I might not always see eye to eye with JSWO but he's owning these TNA marks who believe what they want to believe. TNA marks are just as bad if not worse than WWE marks. At least you have a few WWE marks out there that will admit to bad booking. The TNA marks just use the "omgz itz beter thun wwe!111" arguement.

How am I being a TNA mark? I'm just stating that Joe might want to re-sign in a year from now. Assuming he wins the belt @ BFG, he will be the world champion on a TV show being watched by a million people per week. And I would rather have t-shirts sold in retail stores, and action figures, and DVDs. I would take that over facing B.J. Whitmer in front of 700 people. But that's just me, I'm not sure about you guys.

I don't recall anyone comparing TNA to WWE during this whole argument... In fact, most TNA fans will admit that WWE has been an all around better product this year than TNA. Even though both companies pay-per-views have been luckluster (Except for Wrestlemania, Sacrifice, and Backlash). So the whole "mark" thing is used to loosely like I said. If it's an insult to those defending TNA, then I'm sorry. I'll just go into a corner and cry. You sure got me.
