TNA will never get past where they are now, accept it and deal with it... Dammit...I guess they might as well stop touring for their pay-per-views, they must stop trying to switch cable networks to be in more homes, well ...they might as well cancel their planned video game.

Ugh, the TNA marks in this thread are pathetic. Glad to see an intelligent, well thought out response to the subject at hand. You have not contributed to any of this discussion, you are just puckering up and kissing ROH ass while showing your dislike for TNA. I'm not going to lie, I watch the WWE. I watch TNA. Hell, I even saw Ring of Honor's pay-per-view two days ago at my friends house. So isn't the phrase "TNA mark" used too loosely these days? And besides, it takes a mark to know a mark. Where did I ever say anything about ROH? Please, show me. Also, I don't hate TNA. I watch it every week, and order damn near every PPV. Just because I don't eat every ounce of crapthey put out, like yourself, doesn't not mean I am some kind of anti-TNA pro-ROH robot.

Well seeing as the argument is about both Ring of Honor and TNA, and you have came into this thread twice I believe and made a bad remark about TNA...I figured you were backing ROH in a very unintelligent way. And please show me where I eat out of TNA's ass. Is it because I attend most of their pay-per-views? Sorry that I can take 2 days out of my life every month to drive to Orlando because I enjoy wrestling in general. Sorry I have enough money to pay for gas to go back and forth. In fact, just two posts ago I even said that WWE has been a better product than TNA this year. Man, you guys really need to think of new material. Because this whole "TNA Mark" and "TNA Lover" gimmick you guys have going on is really getting old. I guess I'm offending you by saying that you never know what Joe will be thinking a year from now? If so, I apologize.

At least Sydal is going to TNA. Yeah... I think people underestimate how much money some of the Japanese companies are throwing at the indie guys. Joe could make as much with NOAH than he will with TNA. Sydal is making a very nice living with ROH & Dragon Gate rather than going to work for TNA twice a month and probably not even being used past 2 months.

Let's establish several important facets to this discussion:
1. I am a TNA fan. I happen to enjoy a lot of the wrestlers TNA has. So there is in no way any bias coming from me.
2. I am also an ROH fan. I am fortunate and very lucky to know a lot of the ROH staff and wrestlers on a personal level.
3. TNA isn't going to get any bigger then they are right now for several reasons.
A. They have terrible booking that wouldn't make sense to a Duke University Graduate(that means a very smart person)
B. They focus on WWE retreds. Face facts, the only time WCW was winning the Monday Night Wars they were pushing a character that wasn't a WWE reject.
C. They concern themselves way to much with egos. Joe was promised the belt in March and was told he'd have an eight to twelve month run with it. In December he said he tripped over bad booking and boom his title run was lifted out from under him.
D. They don't pay for hotel or rental cars anymore. That pissed off a lot of the indy wrestlers working for TNA. Fans have no idea how much of an impact(no pun intended) that had on their pay scale.
E. They don't understand the fundamental element of pro wrestling is pleasing the massses = making money.
F. Digging yourself out of a multi-multi- million dollar hole is nearly impossible.
4. Ring of Honor provides the following for all talents on their shows, hotel, airfare, show to show travel(they do double shots exclusively).
5. The talent is given a match and told to put it together. There is no creative team in ROH, only Gabe and the wrestlers. You guys have no idea how loyal guys like Joe & Homicide are to Gabe for what he gave them. Thus the alleged TNA loyalty isn't going to hold weight.
6. With world wide touring and PPV, ROH is now bigger then TNA in terms of financial stability. You don't invest in a consistent loser, but you do invest in an increasingly stable and profitable promotion.
7. With PPV eventually will come television.
8. Action figures don't mean crapto any wrestler unless they collect them.
9. Orlando TNA fans annoy this crapout of many TNA wrestlers. I've not been to Orlando to a TNA show but I hope to one day. But the stories and tales just make me want to punch an Impact Zone fan right in the liver.
10. ROH is more attractive to TNA wrestlers like Shelley, Sabin, Joe, & Homicide because they are allowed to tour Japan with companies like NOAH, Dragon Gate, and other members of the GPWA.
11. Lastly and most importantly, ROH now provides all contracted wrestlers with HEALTH INSURRANCE!
The defense rests.

Another intelligent response. You definitely countered what I said. Sorry I have to work in the morning and cant stay home playing Gears of War all day trying to get one billion kills so I can come brag on a message board about it. Ouch. Seeing as during the year I was only on Xbox for an hour or two a day, due to excessive homework and other activities including basketball, that really hurts. One billion kills? Ha. I think you mean 9,500. That is a sum of me, my brother, and my friends playing on my account. And Gears of War is such a simple game, in 10 rounds, unless you suck, you can average 20 kills. Big deal.

In response to ROH's long post (don't want to quote it to take up time):
I agree with what most of what you said. Joe was NOT promised the belt. Maybe Joe was under the impression that he would get the title. The only wrestler to be promised the belt and not get it was Monty Brown. That's one reason why he is in the WWE right now.
Digging yourself out of that big of a hole is not impossible. Especially when the company backing the promotion has billions of dollars to spend. Obviously ROH doesn't need a creative team, and obviously TNA does. Yes, ROH treats their talent better. But they are a much smaller company and closer together. I honestly can't see ROH being on a mainstream TV channel. And action figures matter because wrestlers make money off of them.

Fair enough. I'm not going to try arguing with what you said because 90% of it was in fact true. 9. Orlando TNA fans annoy this **** out of many TNA wrestlers. I've not been to Orlando to a TNA show but I hope to one day. But the stories and tales just make me want to punch an Impact Zone fan right in the liver. Definitely agree. I hate all those bastards who stand in the front row of the iMPACT Zone. They show up whenever they want, and get the same spot every show just because they help giving out tickets during the day (Hell, I'd wait around all day handing out tickets if it means getting front row too). I mean, a year and a half ago, their was probably about 20 V.I.P.'s at the most. Plus family of the wrestlers and stuff. Now their is over 100. Back in 2005, me and my friend would always get railing between the ring and the heel ramp. Now we're lucky if we can sit up close in the middle without it being filled up. And I'm usually around #20 let in after the V.I.P.'s. So in a way, I'm happy TNA is touring. Well, I can't stay on too much longer so I hope this little argument is over. I'm glad it stayed clean for the most part. But unfortunately, I'm still sticking by my opinion of "You never know what Joe will be thinking next year" and I still believe if TNA was the highest bidder on Joe, he'll most likely re-sign. But for that, have a good night.

two hours of Xbox a day? jeez... Between 1 and 2, yes. After a long day of school, homework, and whatever else I did, it's always nice to kick back and play some Xbox with friends. Whether it be Gears of War, Madden, or even Halo 2. Especially when I'm paying for Xbox Live, might as well use it.

Yes please. Id like that very much so Also when is sting leaving I thought he was retiring He signed a 1 year deal in January 2006, then was offered a year extension and he signed it. He claims on his DVD that 2007 will be his last year in wrestling...even though "it's hard to say goodbye".
