It seems from the reaction from last night, that a lot of online fans hate Seth Rollins. He somehow has become the new "Roman Reigns" in which we must hate Seth now. Which is kind of funny since Roman gets not really any hatred since he isn't in any title pictures since he's came back in February.
So is it that we just have to hate on the top guy on Raw who is Universal Champion, and that right now is Seth Rollins??
Because I personally like Seth. I am happy he is duel champion on Raw. I just don't get why we have to hate on Seth now??

I've never liked him.
But people hate anything that is popular. And 95% of the hate comes from the Becky storyline, which was some of the worst stuff WWE has put out in years. Big time jikes.

1) He defended WWE by not agreeing with what Ambrose/Mox said. That makes him public enemy number 1 to most. Only people who bash WWE are cool.
2) He had twitter beef with Will Ospreay. That's apparently also a no-no.
3) And most importantly... WWE supports him. He's no longer Roman's little buddy. He's now their chosen one. That means by law 90% of the IWC has to hate on him.

I don't even know. I've enjoyed Seth since day 1, I don't enjoy Seth/Becky over the topness. But,it's not deal breaker. I wouldn't mind Rollins heel turn down the road. I've been enjoying his run. I hope Braun does eventually get run. If not, Wyatt would be awesome.

This exactly. Everyone loves you till the machine begins to properly use them. Then it because the "cool" and "trendy" thing to hate them because they arnt their little internet darlings wrestling infront of 50 to 100's of people in small Indy feds. Don't come at me, we've seen it happen with everyone who begins to pick up steam and you know it's true. |

Now, I interpret it as Creative (Vince) traditionally not giving flips about anyone on the roster except a select few and not putting forth their best effort on selling guys to the audience. Then with the crowd not caring enough or not being smart enough to see beyond what's right in front of them, the superstar suddenly catches all the heat for being subpar and mediocre. I won't argue with you about how you see smarks but I'll be d*mned if I let you say that Seth entering a three-month Universal title feud with Baron Corbin while constantly pushing his current relationship with Lynch is using him "properly" lol |

Vince isn’t our real dad, so we’re not gonna like who he wants us to like. And Seth beat Brock Lesnar twice, so Vince clearly wants us to like him. Who else has beaten Brock twice? Just Goldberg? |

For me personally, I just don't enjoy his current run. I'll probably get hate for this, but I only tend to enjoy his stuff when he's working the midcard. His WWE title run in 2015 was a chore to get through, and I'm finding his Universal runs to be the same. Don't get me wrong, he's a hell of a performer - he's just not main event material. Again, this is MY opinion, if you disagree, that's fine. Just don't go off on one anybody.  |

Because he hid behind Becky frozen in fear when that guy jumped Bret at the Hall of Fame. The real men Travis Browne, David Smith, Dash Wilder jumped into action.

Never liked Rollins as a top guy. In-ring ability can only take you so far. After that, he's got nothing. Wouldn't say I "hate" him though.

I still haven't recovered from his last title reign and the Becky BF storyline, that's mainly why most people hate him now. WWE screwed that up worse giving us Corbin for 3 PPV's straight.

Ive never liked him either, that voice irritates me lol. But more reasonably, I just feel he hasnt the personality for being a top guy. I dont care how good these wrestlers are, they are a dime a dozen I like a bit of personality thrown in with my champions. The best thing Seth has going is that "Burn it down" intro in his theme music. And that terrible Becky relationship is pure cringe. |
