It would have made more sense to just have Brock run out after Seth and Kane come out after Bray then just make it end in a no contest Thats pretty much what they done last year.

LOL
I LOVED the ending. It was clear right from the outset when they didn’t put the ring announcer on the mic that the match was being thrown out/stopped/declared a no contest. Hell (in a Cell, lol), it was clear when they put the ref in Rollins way and had him try and talk him down from swinging the hammer. It’s a wrestling match, not a contest to see who can up and murder the other guy first - if Rollins suddenly pulls a gun, the ref is calling for the bell. He has that grounded, human based obligation.
I think they have a lot to go with now. The Fiend got his gimmick in at the end, so he’s still this bizarre, unstoppable force. He still hasn’t eaten a loss. Rollins has a wrinkle in his character now - he always plays up the fact that he fights tooth and nail when backed into a corner, but god damn he tried to straight up kill a guy and is that who he’s supposed to be?
It was a fun show, and people are acting like this isn’t the third HiaC match to end without a decisive winner or something.
It’s just wrestling, y’all.

As far as Ali losing to Orton last night it makes sense. Orton is the captain for “Team Flair” so they are going to bump up his wins to make him and his team more formidable threat for “Team Hogan”.

Anyone see the Goldberg/Riddle confrontation? I found it hilarious and if it’s scripted, perhaps some of the better writing they have done in a while. In my opinion more entertaining than the entire PPV.

I don't get it you can get thrown off the cell, through the cell and be covered in blood and the match continues but a hammer shot calls for a DQ?
I'm pretty sure HHH has used the sledgehammer in past cell matches too.

Unfortunately for Ali he got hurt right at the start of his push so now he has to regain their (Vince’s) trust. Just like what happened with Finn. And unfortunately for him it’ll be a long road like it’s been for Finn since.

The show was good till the final match. Yet so many Chicken Littles are running around screaming to the hilltop that "The Fed Is Dead". Shame really.

Of course they will. For how else can they complain about the product if they aren't watching said product to complain about?? Ha ha ha ha
Idiots, all of them!

He pounding on his chest, not in the "I'm the man, you're my b*tch" sort of way, but more like, "yeah kid, you were able to hang with me" - and he kept nodding to Ali when he left the ring. Don't be surprised if Ali get's selected as part of Team Flair.

Seth has entered 1996 HBK territory with go away heat at this point. I’m not putting it on him as it’s the writing that’s killed him.
Last night reminded me of HBK vs Mankind. They bring in Mick, build him up as this hardcore monster, but in the end, he’s not as hardcore as HBK. Similar feelings last night, and I think the only thing that saves Seth is a heel turn like it did for Shawn.

To me the Hell in a Cell ending was absolute bull shit...no it really was. I mean seriously? Hell in a Cell is supposed to be No DQ so how the hell does Seth Rollins get DQed and keeps his title? I say complete ing bullcrapon this...THE FANS SHOULD HAVE CHANTED BULL crapAT THIS ENDING!!! HELL, THE FANS SHOULD HAVE CHANTED AEW!!! All these BS finishes are exactly why WWE fans are not only tuning out and are going to be watching AEW from now on but it is these types of finishes that are gonna cause the fans to turn on Seth Rollins hell they are already turning on Rollins and not to mention the fact that The Fiend should have gone over in this match and won the title but no they want Rollins as their champion...that just more or less kills Wyatt's momentum in terms of this finish

HAHAHAHA, I still just can't help but laugh at how horrendous Hell In The Cell was. Potentially the most BS ending to any match/PPV ever. Fan outrage just shows. I just find it hilarious if I'm going to be honest.
But from what little I watched of the rest of the show (women's matches only), the rest wasn't too bad. I really wanted Sasha to win the title, I think Becky has had a good long reign, but I thought it was time to refresh. I'm not a fan of super long title reigns, unless there's a turn halfway through to freshen things up (CM Punk's WWE title reign is the perfect example). And obviously, there's simply no way Becky turning heel could work anytime soon - if ever. But the match made up for the result. Really good match, with a ton of really creative spots. AND THE WOMEN FINALLY BROKE A TABLE!! Seriously, that meteora through the table spot looked really good. The biggest positive I see out of this PPV is people giving Becky and Sasha the credit they deserve - which is great to see, because both of them are just fantastic wrestlers, and deserve the recognition. My only complaint with the match itself was the ending. Sasha was clearly fully capable of grabbing a chair and whacking Becky with it to break the hold; the chair was literally within her grasp!! So the ending just looked dumb to me. I don't know why, but it seems whenever Sasha taps out, it's always in the most frustrating way possible (e.g. tapping out with literally three seconds on the clock at Roadblock).
I just really wonder where Becky goes from here in terms of challengers, but I guess the draft will sort that out.
Kabuki Warriors VS Bliss/Cross was really weird. Title match with zero build, Kabuki Warriors win. Kabuki Warriors wrestling as heels without a heel turn was really weird. They REALLY need a brand new tag team theme, their theme mashup sounds awful. Asuka using Poison Mist was pretty cool. Happy with new champs, but this match really deserved build-up instead of being randomly made a couple of hours before showtime.
Charlotte VS Bayley was a good match. Expected Charlotte to win, wanted her to win, so happy with her winning. Bayley throwing a tantrum after was a bit weird, but hopefully now she becomes a fully-fledged heel. Would be a good character arc there.
The Fiend VS Seth Rollins, I don't think I even need to say anything about it. Been summed up pretty well right now all over social media. But depending on how you look at it, it's either hilariously bad, or so bad it makes you angry. I'm far more on the finding humour from it side.

Vince has a serious problem with understanding winning a match and beating a man, for a promo everybody hates on, one of Warriors WCW promo touched on this and it made sense. If Wyatt won the match doing what Seth did, it’s no longer beating a man in a wrestling match. It’s like throwing a touchdown in basketball...it doesn’t really count. Nobody would think Seth is weak because he lost due to a lunatic trying to murder him With weapons in a wrestling match. Bray didn’t beat him in wrestling so going forward we have to assume in a legit contest, Seth is the better man, but tonight, the rules catered to Bray and so he won. It’s not like say, Brock Lesnar F5ing you and beating you in a legit wrestling match in 7 seconds...something like that would be pretty damning to your character, atleast they are smart enough to not do something like that right...
But I’ll guarantee you this is HBK 96 disease with Vince. Seth must look STRONG and to do so he must NEVER come off as weak. He’s the most hardcore, he’s the best technician, he’s the best promo...NO MATTER WHAT
And for anybody thinking Vince cares about the Kabuki Warriors, guys, cmon. This is just a reaction to AEW putting their belt on an Asian. That’s it. There is no thought put into them as heels because there was no thought put into them at all. Vince watched AEW, dusted off his Asian wrestlers and said, I have a few of those working for me too!

The biggest problem I had with the Hell in a Cell match with Fiend/Rollins was the red lighting during the match because it was like fighting in the dark but they are more or less fighting in red light. That is what really grinded my gears. Had they fought in regular lighting, then the match wouldn't have been so bad. Another problem being the BS finish. I mean seriously like how? How? How does the match end in a DQ? I mean really, WWE really? This match really more or less just turned me off on the fact that Rollins is still WWE Universal Champion. Hell, if he had lost the title I think people would have cared more especially when it comes to his character. If they had Wyatt go over and win the title, people like myself would not have been so sour on the match. I mean it is like Vince and company are going out of their way to protect Rollins at every turn and it is because of that people are going to end up hating Rollins much like they did Roman Reigns not so long ago.

Hell in a Cell made it's debut 22 years ago.....and after last night, there should NEVER be another Hell in a Cell match again. They've advertised Hell in a Cell matches over the years as the most dangerous, demonic, barbaric, inhumane, career shortening/ending match in WWE where there literally are no rules. How can you ever say that again? What is the justification for that ref calling for a DQ? Because he had compassion for The Fiend, who is a supernatural non-human entity (kayfabe)? That was the weakest, least creative, most damaging to the product ending that they could have possibly booked. If they didn't have the balls to just put the Title on The Fiend, DON'T BOOK THE MATCH TO BEGIN WITH. WWE is NOTORIOUS for booking themselves into corners where there is no viable outcome. You could have had a massive gimmick ending where the ring opened up and DEMONS or whatever dragged Seth down to Hell. You could have had a special effect where lighting bolts or some sh*t hit the cage and it fell apart or the ring fell apart or masked druids came and took Seth away... But to actually book an ending where the REFEREE ended the match on a DQ in a HELL IN A CELL MATCH.....I'm shocked, and NOT in a good way. Literally the worst possible outcome besides The Fiend losing clean, which would have killed the character. Add this to the horrible situation on Smackdown where Kofi Kingston got ed over by WWE thinking the fans want to see 2010 UFC......WWE is horrible right now. Everything but NXT is borderline unwatchable.
