If they wanted to keep the title on Seth but book them together in the cell, why not do this...
Bray starts targeting Seth and wants to bring out his old demons. He wants to show everyone that “babyface” Seth is a fraud. For weeks he plays mind games with Seth to get him to snap.
Rather than book Seth like a complete baby who cowers in fear, have him freaked out but also frustrated and confused. He doesn’t want to become the “old Seth Rollins,” but by the end of buildup he realizes he needs to be sadistic to beat Bray. Seth dominates a few heel jobbers before the PPV, and we’re set.
Seth thinks his sadistic side can beat Bray, and enters the cell.cocky and confident. Match begins, and Seth quickly realizes that he is no match for Bray. We avoid the finisher spams, and instead Bray kicks out of one stomp. We then get Bray brutalizing Seth for what seems like forever until the ref ends the match for Seth’s safety since Bray has no intention of winning or ending the match.
This way Seth keeps the title, Bray is strong, and we get a story that can progress forward.
See WWE, it’s not that hard.

We've literally had people ON FIRE inside Hell in a Cell. They've never stopped it! And why can Bray use a GIANT HAMMER and the Ref is ok with it, but when Seth uses a SMALLER HAMMER, it's a DQ? It lacked all logic, and I know pro-wrestling is rarely logical, but this really took the taco.

This was vintage WWE for 2019.Started off with Becky/Sasha in what might have been the best main roster match of the year and then end with the worst angle and match of the year. The closing for RAW,Smackdown and Hell in the Cell all have been so bad on top of how bad WWE has been this year its getting me damn near the cliff of jumping off.Sad that they have the most talent roster ever but the booking just kills everything.Glad AEW is around and NXT(well probably not in its current state for much longer if the ratings don't pick up and Vince gets his hands on it)
bty then end of this show could really do or had done serious damage to Rollins and Wyatt.

I agree with no DQ in a HIAC, but if the WWE was determined to book them in this but keep the title on Seth, this is the best option . Once the ref realizes that Bray just wants to hurt Seth and not actually pin him he could call and end to it. Ridiculous yes, but the best option given the corner the WWE out themselves in again.

Once the ref realizes that Bray just wants to hurt Seth and not actually pin him he could call and end to it. Ridiculous yes, but the best option given the corner the WWE out themselves in again. The best option is The Fiend ends the match with a super natural gimmick like I said, lightning, demons, masked druids, etc. Some crazy sh*t happens, the lighting can go all screwy, the lights go back on and BOTH Seth and Fiend are just BOTH GONE and nobody knows what the hell happened and it just goes off the air. People would still be pissed because the amount of no-contests and non-committal finishes that WWE gives us is very insulting...but at least they wouldn't have violated the absolute purpose and premise of the match! The ref ending the match in DQ out of fear for Seth's safety is just as stupid as what they did....THERE IS NO DISQUALIFICATION INSIDE HELL IN A CELL. PERIOD. And again....Bray uses the biggest hammer you've ever seen, Ref is fine. Seth uses a smaller hammer...and DQ. In order to get me to believe a DQ, they would have had to do something like Seth took a knife and started stabbing Bray in the face. The fact that he got DQ'd for using a SMALLER HAMMER THAN BRAY USED MINUTES EARLIER....it makes it worse. I'm sorry, but it makes it worse. Awful.

lol. you'll will all still watch tonight. I won't. I just heard that 10,000 people unsubscribed to the network. and? That's not even 100 grand for a billionaire. It's nothing. Make it 20,000 people. Who cares? WWE will be just fine no matter how hard people cry. The WWE doesn't cater to people on a message board. They cater to the families and those who don't get all wound up over things like this. Sad but true.

The only way to fix this is for Seth to open Raw tomorrow dragging a ref to the ring and demanding The Fiend come and finish what they started and just have him murder Seth.
Seth needs to go away for a while after that and let the heat off him cool off a bit.

I haven't watched it yet. I plan on hopefully a little later today. Oh I've read all the hate on facebook and whatnot and I'm sure I'm going to hate it as well. And don't get me wrong. I'm not defending whatever happened. I'm just saying that ALL these people that are not going to watch tonight, most are going to tune in just to see what happened and they all will continue to tune in because they need something to bash!

I'm just saying that ALL these people that are not going to watch tonight, most are going to tune in just to see what happened and they all will continue to tune in because they need something to bash! Wrestling is the single most unusual form of entertainment available today. A few years ago, I tried getting into that Walking Dead show. I didn't like it. I stuck it out for a bit, trying to find the hook that had grabbed so many others, but it wasn't for me. I gave up around season...hell, I can't even remember. It was shortly after my son was born, and he's four going on five now, so whatever that market would have been. Point is...I can't envision a scenario in which I'd begrudgingly stuck by it, watching in agony week over week, thoroughly not enjoying myself, bitching to no end on Twitter about what a bad show it was with such poor direction and a completely lack of engaging characters, without somebody... anybody...telling me to just shut it off and find something else to watch. It'd be the same if I made a habit out of buying up every last release from Taylor Swift...in spite of the fact that I don't particularly care for or enjoy the music of Taylor Swift. If watching what the WWE has to offer is so overwhelmingly frustrating...just walk away. It's not that hard. I can't imagine how exhausting it must be to actively dislike something you're solely and exclusively responsible for subjecting yourself to.

You don’t like evil Seth, and booed me for it, but it was for a good cause and I’ll never go back to that place again.”

WWE put up the results on their website that the WWE Universal Championship Hell In A Cell Match ended due to referee stoppage aka no contest. People on social media should stop bitching at the result of the match.
Other Hell In A Cell Matches that ended in no contest Mankind Vs. Kane Raw Is War August 24th, 1998
Roman Reigns Vs. Braun Strowman WWE Universal Championship Match With Mick Foley as the special guest referee Hell In A Cell September 16th, 2018

Everyone complaining about Seth and Bray....
WHY THEY GOTTA DO MY GIRL BAYLEY LIKE THAT?
How hard would it have been to have her get DQ’d? Nope, Charlotte wins clean...Bayley throws tiny tantrum...
Should have ended in a merciless beatdown of that stupid plastic surgery disaster. Put her ugly ass through a table and keep your belt. But no...10x who gives a god damn

It wasn't hyped or anything in advance. Just a "Russo way" of getting ratings.
Last year I recall a lot of people complaining about Brock interfering in the cell and the match having to be stopped for it. Not as bad as this year though.

Was it the best PPV? No. Was it the worst? No. It had it share of entertaining moments. And honestly for what they offer in content on the WWE network it was well worth the $9.99 monthly fee. Many of the complaints I have read are the wwe didn’t have the wrestler they wanted to win get the victory. The issues with the main event hell in the cell match wasn’t the outcome, but the stupid red lighting and the comic mallet. People are say Wyatt looked weak and he lost all momentum by not getting the win. I say Seth looked weak by not being able to beat him after how many curb stomps, chair shots and a sledgehammer.

What makes this so bad, for me, is that it's happened for the second year in a row. The match itself was so bizarre and out there I'm actually not too critical of that than a few people are. In fact when they raised the cell and the fans were chanting for the match to be restarted - if they did that, then they did the mandible claw spot and Bray won... I think it would have been cool as hell. The kicker for me is they have this event based on their most brutal match type, and for a second year in a row the main event has just been thrown out. The match stipulation itself has been made to look like crapthe past 2 years.
