Everyone complaining about Seth and Bray.... WHY THEY GOTTA DO MY GIRL BAYLEY LIKE THAT? How hard would it have been to have her get DQ’d? Nope, Charlotte wins clean...Bayley throws tiny tantrum... Should have ended in a merciless beatdown of that stupid plastic surgery disaster. Put her ugly ass through a table and keep your belt. But no...10x who gives a god damn This sticks out in my mind as the greater disappointment out of the show, but even then, the prolonged post-match focus on Bayley leads me to believe they're going somewhere with it. I'm not sure where exactly, but I've got to assume there's some sort of further character development grab here.

I haven't watched it yet. I plan on hopefully a little later today. Oh I've read all the hate on facebook and whatnot and I'm sure I'm going to hate it as well. And don't get me wrong. I'm not defending whatever happened. I'm just saying that ALL these people that are not going to watch tonight, most are going to tune in just to see what happened and they all will continue to tune in because they need something to bash! Wrestling is the single most unusual form of entertainment available today. A few years ago, I tried getting into that Walking Dead show. I didn't like it. I stuck it out for a bit, trying to find the hook that had grabbed so many others, but it wasn't for me. I gave up around season...hell, I can't even remember. It was shortly after my son was born, and he's four going on five now, so whatever that market would have been. Point is...I can't envision a scenario in which I'd begrudgingly stuck by it, watching in agony week over week, thoroughly not enjoying myself, bitching to no end on Twitter about what a bad show it was with such poor direction and a completely lack of engaging characters, without somebody... anybody...telling me to just shut it off and find something else to watch. It'd be the same if I made a habit out of buying up every last release from Taylor Swift...in spite of the fact that I don't particularly care for or enjoy the music of Taylor Swift. If watching what the WWE has to offer is so overwhelmingly frustrating...just walk away. It's not that hard. I can't imagine how exhausting it must be to actively dislike something you're solely and exclusively responsible for subjecting yourself to. Ok I just watched the match. I wanted to see what the big deal is and I was not right. I liked it!!! The crowd was pissed that Wyatt didn't win the title and they were pissed that Rollins was getting all that offense in. People here made this match sound like it was just the most horrible thing they ever saw which is not the case. The only thing I didn't care for was the red lighting throughout the whole thing. But the desperation and brutality was good. If Wyatt would have done ALL that to Rollins people would have been cheering. When it all comes down to it is that their favorite person didn't walk away with a title belt. This can be a very good story and Wyatt looked strong as hell at the end. The "blood" was a little too much at the end to the point it looked a little cartoony. But on a scale of 1 to 10. I give it a solid 7 1/2. As for the "massive" AEW chants? Yeah they were there but it sure as hell wasn't the whole entire arena that was doing it. I, not once, thought after the bell rang that it was a DQ. The match was stopped. This match made Bray look strong as all hell and made Seth very desperate to hold onto the title. Again. I liked it and look forward to what the STORY of this will be. And I so agree with your last line. I despise the "Golden Girls", football, "The View", and a bunch of other things. I would NEVER subject myself to watching that or doing anything I don't want to do. I just don't understand how people work.

I fell asleep during the main event but I enjoyed what I watched of the PPV except Charlotte winning. Ali’s RKO counter was a thing of beauty too!

The rest of the show was really really good, which is what makes that end so disappointing. I'm going to hope Charlotte winning is a placeholder so they can move Sasha to SD and have her take the title off Charlotte instead of Bayley. (I realize Charlotte isn't the only option for that, but if we're going to have to suffer with a bunch of short title reigns to get to the same number as her pops, I'll take this as a way to accomplish it over alternatives). Sasha/Becky was probably WWE match of the year. I don't think Becky's ever looked that good in the ring. Sasha just brings out the absolute best in everybody, she's so freaking talented.
I think I'm in the minority in that I actually liked the red lighting. I was really into the match until the land of a thousand curbstomps hit. A few* no-sells were ok, but that just got to the point where I felt like I was watching the Ultimate Warrior all over again.
This was such a dumb match to book this early. They knew Bray couldn't win the title yet, so why even bother with that match. Bray could've picked a feud with anyone else and had a banger of a HIAC match with no title implications that could have had an actual finish instead of "Oops this match was a stupid idea j/k it's over". Capitalizing the word story won't make the story any less garbage. Seth looks like a moron now, his curbstomp is now the most useless finisher around, and Bray looks like the 2nd coming of the Warrior and early era Undertaker combined. Brock needs 3, Braun needs 4, Bray still doesn't go down after 30? They could *maybe* dig out of that grave if they somehow pretend his mask magically protected him. Which would even have been fine if they'd made the Fiend out to be something physically seperate from Bray, like some type of Frankenstein's monster type situation, but they went out of their way to make us very aware it's literally just Bray in a mask who suddenly becomes immune to all physical pain.

I can't imagine how exhausting it must be to actively dislike something you're solely and exclusively responsible for subjecting yourself to. Normally, you and I agree on pretty much all things, but on this, I have to call you out if for nothing other than slightly faulty logic. In your examples you're speaking about things that you never liked to begin with. Let's say you seriously enjoyed the first three seasons of Walking Dead. Then about halfway through season four you just really started to hate the direction the storyline went in, but you toughed it out hoping it would get better, and even then you still really didn't like it. Then season five rolls around and you find that you hate the writing EVEN MORE, but you stick around because something happened in the last episode that gave you hope for where they were going, or maybe you latched onto a character that you really dug. Season six comes around and you start to get into it again. The writing is better, and you see a light at the end of the tunnel. Then out of nowhere, they kill off the character you loved in a chumpy way and revert back to the writing you hated for the last two seasons, but you STILL watch it, hoping you can recapture the magic of when you first watched it, even thought that's feeling more and more of a futile effort. Then you take a season off. You're so mad at the writers that you can't take it any more. You kind of keep up with the goings on just to see if maybe you were wrong to jump ship, but see reports of the same old song and dance. You then find out you don't miss it as much as you thought you would and you skip the next season too. Then one night you're flipping through channels and TWD is on, so you sit through it. You don't hate it. You're invested. Those two years away changed how you thought about it and there are new characters you know nothing about. You watch the next few episodes, and you're having fun, and then you start to notice the cracks. You see all the things that drove you away before. They're still there. The mold is still under the fresh coat of paint. All of a sudden, what drove you away comes back in full effect due to a terrible episode where people die off in nonsensical ways and characters start acting in ways that all sense would tell you they wouldn't. You're pissed because you were really feeling it. It felt fresh and new again, but nothing has changed. Yeah, people watch because they feel a sense of duty to. They want to see what happens next. They think that maybe...just maybe...those writers or show runners who mucked up what they love might leave and the show might go back to what it was when they first started watching, back when they loved it.

Same difference...I loved WCW back then (who didn't), but then it became a chore, so I changed the channel.

Seeing that the result of the main event was actually a referee stoppage makes the main event feel much better, but a stoppage means that Seth actually defeated the Fiend.

Becky vs Banks was definitely match ir the night. As for the main event, how could you end it like that wwe?? I dont care Bray lost but with a stoppage in a no dq match!! Plus the 20 stomps! Should've had it out of the cell with like a car crash or something warranting a stoppage since its outside the ring and seth wouldn't be able to continue the match. Have Wyatt come out of the disaster with flashing lights. It worked with Brawn strowman.

Charlotte never should've lost the belt to Bayley to begin with. Bayley should be as far away from that belt, as she should be from a live mic.

Two HIAC main events in a row where no one wins by pinfall or submission, time to retire not only this PPV but also the HIAC match itself. I will never forget HBK vs Taker, Taker vs Mankind and many other cell matches, i will also never forget this one but for all the wrong reasons.
What was once the best gimmick match in not only WWE but arguably all of wrestling is now a joke, yeah there is the odd good/decent one like Sasha vs Becky tonight but overall the match has to me at least lost what made it special.

You are, quite literally, the second person after myself I've found to have shared my point of view on just about everything as it pertains to this match. Eh I liked the match but thought the ending was kinda stupid. I wasn’t a fan of Bray getting a big title match right out of the gate to begin though /

Seeing that the result of the main event was actually a referee stoppage makes the main event feel much better, but a stoppage means that Seth actually defeated the Fiend. There's no evidence it was a referee stoppage. WWE social media accounts even called it a DQ after the finish. At the very least it wasn't clear. A stoppage is a TKO win and a decisive finish. That's not what happened here. Also it's a HELL IN A CELL match. How can you stop a match after use of a sledgehammer when you wouldn't stop it earlier for use of weapons and a hammer. It's ing imbecilic. This company hates its its fans, viewers, and customers. If not, the contempt is clear. And the fans are also at fault if they continue to pay for this and support this and write #CancelWWENetwork on Twitter and keep coming back.

Charlotte...10 time WWE Women's Champion...10 times...WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO In an era where there are TWO women's championships and only a half dozen women who have a chance to hold either one of the belts. Yep, I'm impressed.
