Are you still doing Taker vs Shawn even though it was a little past when you stopped watching?

Shawn Michaels vs Undertaker(2009)
11 years since they last waged war but these two legends were destined to cross paths again in a feud and that's what we got here in 2009.HBK earned the right to try and break the streak when he defeated Vladimir Kozlov on Raw. From there the match was on in Houston at WM XXV.Even though I was done watching the product by this time, I remember hearing about this and right away checking out YouTube from week to week to see what these two cooked up in the build. I wasn't disappointed to say the least. Both guys played the mind games stuff perfectly...
The match itself was phenomenal. Just all the drama with the near falls and DAMN that Taker dive to the floor looked brutal. I legit thought he broke his neck with that spot.Just all around good stuff here and matches like this is why I will always be a wrestling fan.
Overall... My fav match ever between these two will always be the first Cell match but this one is a close 2nd.The product during this time wasn't doing it for me anymore but these two brought me back briefly with their work here. This was a great way for me to end my run watching wrestling religiously that's for sure.

Is there anything in particular that made you stop as a last straw?
I don’t know if you saw the show, but the match was one of the few highlights of WM 25.

My favorite storyline of all time was Canada vs the USA in 1997. Stone Cold vs Bret is my all time favorite feud. Those guys had awesome chemistry. Everything about that storyline was incredible IMO.

Hart foundation vs DemolitionThis classic tag feud would begin during the Summer of 1988.The Harts are recently turned babyfaces after proclaiming they want nothing to do with their former manger Jimmy Hart and were dead set on getting the belts back. This would lead to the big showdown at the first SSlam at MSG. What can i say about these two teams other than tag team perfection here. They would meet again on SNME that Fall but once again the Harts would come up short The feud would pretty much end following this but would pick up 2 years later with Demo fresh back into the heel role after a good babyface run.I can see why they turned em since LOD was coming in but man i wish they were kept faces a little while longer considering how over they were. It was also during this time in which they would bring in Crush as a way to confuse their opponents but to also cheat in the process. The match at SSlam 90 is an all time tag team classic and a must see for all old school wrestling fans.Throw in the HOT Philly crowd and you got yourself an instant winner here.Having it a 2/3 falls match was a nice touch.Demo's last great match as they went downhill following this but man job well done here. Overall...Fantastic feud here between my fav team of all time in Demo with the Harts being right up there with em.Tag wrestling at it's finest humanoids without question. NOTHING will ever top 80s/early 90s tag wrestling that's for sure. And these two teams prove just that.

Two great teams. Two great matches at Summer Slam. I was glad to see the Hart's get the belts back at Summer Slam 90, shame that this was really the end of Demolition. Too bad the WWF didn't build a LOD/Demolition feud that culminated with a match at WM7.

When and how did Demolition turn heel? Their heel turn is an odd one as it all started when Crush joined in June. You can see the turn coming as Jesse was putting em over on commentary as a stronger force now they have a 3rd member. They still used the piped in cheers for the match though so they didn't turn then. That came not long after when Demo cut a promo ripping on the fans.
It just felt so forced considering just a few months earlier the big POP they got when they won the belts for the 3rd time at Mania VI.They definitely had more mileage as faces but with LOD coming in all things changed.

I was watching a promo of theirs I think it was around June, where they talk about the Rockers, Hart Foundation and Rhythm & Blues. Difficult to tell if they were heel or face at the time but faces talking about faces didn’t seem to fit the time frame. But they also talked about R&B, who were heel, so all a bit confusing.

Here's Crush debut. Take notice to the piped in cheers...

Yeah I distinctively remember it was a podium interview with Mean Gene in which they formally introduced Crush.

Realistically, hoe can you cheer a team that have added an extra member to gain advantage. And it didn’t help with Ax attacking a jobber from the outside. On a side note that’s some hair do on Paul Diamond ha ha. I’m assuming he had to cut/devolumise to get the Kato mask on.

Didn't the heel turn start during a SNME when the Rockers were facing the Hart Foundation for the number 1 contenders spot? I remember Ax and Smash coming to ringside watching the match, then they charged the ring and attacked the guys in the ring, then all three teams fought one another. I believe this was before Crush made an appearance. I could be wrong though, my memory isn't as good as it once was.

Wasnt that the match in which one of the Harts or Rockers(cant remember which one) went to the floor with Demo coming down to help em to their feet only to be pushed away? That in turn resulted in Demo coming in for the 3 way brawl. Looking back you can say that was the official seed planted for the heel turn that would happen that Summer.

But that definitely seemed to be the start of Demolition turning heel.

I loved the SummerSlam 90 match with the Hart Foundation, one of my all time favorite tag team matches actually. As a kid at the time I never understood why Demolition turned bad. I think they rushed the heel turn, I would have liked to have seen them stay face and then turn on The Legion of Doom. I think that a face vs face match at SummerSlam with the LOD on the outside making sure no other teams interfeared could have worked, but then again I love this tag match the way it is.
That tag match at SummerSlam was a ton of fun, I watched this with my grandfather and I always remember him cracking up at Ax hiding under the ring.
