I can see why some people aren’t into the cinematic or silly matches. But in a world where they can’t have crowds putting on 5 star matches all nights not gonna work. I enjoyed the whole show. A few of the matches were lackluster but I loved the title matches the ladder match and the stampede. I’m a big fan of Brian Cage too but I don’t think it was necessary for him to be with Taz. Glad he won though.

MJF ve Jungle Boy was the match of the night to me. Main event was a unique fun match. The world title and women’s title matches were good. Cody vs Archer was decent as was the ladder match and a good debut for Brian Cage. Though I think they’re recycling an old TNA idea of having Taz be his manager. Statlander vs Ford and Dustin vs Spears were just there. I give the show 7/10.

Can someone explain why Tully on Spears’ underwear was funny? Ask Vince Mcmahon

Can someone explain why Tully on Spears’ underwear was funny? Ask Vince Mcmahon I don’t like coming off like an AEW shill, but all the stuff I didn’t like on this show is sh*t I can get from WWE. It’s beyond frustrating to tell people why AEW is different and they do stuff like that. Embarrassing.

I certainly won’t argue that there wasn’t some poor things on the show. The ladder match didn’t seem to click at all, although there were definitely some good spots in there. A few bitches/slips. Kinda felt that way with the pre-show match too. Didn’t understand the Dustin/Spears thing, I thought it would be a legit match.
For me the last two matches saved the night from being overall meh. I was into Mox/Brodie a little more than I thought I would be, and I thought the stampede was a blast so the night ended on a very positive note for me.

Yeah it was good. I feel like I wasn’t super into it because there was no way MJF wasn’t winning, but certainly a very good match and one of the better parts of the show. Personally I don’t think anything topped the stampede.

Maybe covid-9 had something to do With the delay? Weird it wasn't ready with the amount of time AEW knew about the TNT tournament. Yeah they said it was because of covid Makes sense but Im still not happy with the look even if its going to be gold plated. I would have preferred the world globe behind the TNT logo in blue to break the color up.

Should just be a black strap, would look much better. Idk how good gold will look with that shade of red. A maroon-like color like the North American Title would look a lot better.

Man y'all gotta chill with the negativity. I fricken loved that. Go ahead and block me, o have a hard time seeing blood and guts topping that bloody masterpiece. Start to finish that might be my favorite ppv of all time. Literally something for everyone. A classic old school match by two guys in their early 20s. A cinematic masterpiece that the MITB match should have been. Some hardcore action and a sweet ladder match. Comedy spots with OC and spears, it had everything. After losing shad and hana this week, that was a great feel good evening of wrestling. I guess I'm the target market. I love all wrestling. I had old NWA tapes I loved when I was 9 years old so don't @ me saying I can't appreciate "real" wrestling. That was so much fun. Money very well spent. i completely agree with you here, man. i had a blast watching from the buy in all the way through the main event. i could honestly watch this all the way through again tomorrow and enjoy it just as much.

there's a lot to be said about this show but the one thing that got me the most was shida winning. that kendo to the head looked stiff af and i popped big time when she got the 3. as much as i wanted her to win, i really didn't see it happening. pretty sure i woke up my neighbors with my excitement and WOOOOS! lol. especially considering what happened with kimura, this was the ultimate feel good moment of the night for me. legit shed a tear of happiness.

I hope Brit does weekly injury updates on Dynamite like Orton did 20 years ago. Hopefully she's in mid-drill in her office, pauses, looks up, gives the injury up date, then goes back to work.. ala Issac Yankem promos.

Just learned that Tony Khan said during his post-show interview that Fyter Fest is returning and Brian Cage will have his title shot there. He said they originally were planning to hold the show in London, but obviously that’s not possible. More details to come Wednesday on Dynamite.

MJF vs Jungle Boy was INCREDIBLE.
The same cannot be said for that TNT belt. Oh my word. What happened?! Why does it look so freaking bad? It's legitimately on par with the 24/7 belt in WWE. Could they not get it finished because of the lockdown or something? I don't get it. EDIT: Shiavone just explained it. Phew! Still looking forward to seeing it when it's done.

Re-watched the stampede match, if I removed the dopey Matt Hardy stuff it’s not a bad segment. His costume changes while being drowned are cringe and asks for too much disbelief.
Ortiz’s selling is also cringe. lol

This was a bad show, I just hope people are willing to admit it as a whole. Criticism is good and a group like AEW needs to hear both the good and bad. They have had very few huge misses like this show. Why do you think it was bad? Honestly the stadium stuff just wasn’t for me when Matt Hardy was involved. I’ve seen his involvement in AEW as a bad thing so far cause I really feel like he has damaged the hard work Inner Circle did to be a threat before he got there. This whole feud has felt like a “joke”. I just want it to be done so he can be shuttered down the card. The Shawn Spears, Dustin thing was so stupid, it’s exactly the stuff that people slam Wwe for all the time, so it’s annoying. Ladder match was fine, MJF vs Jungle Boy was fine, Kris vs Penelope wasn’t good and there were a few times where one of them almost got seriously hurt. Cody and Lance was technically fine but they killed another monster too early again, Cody always gets the longest matches and they feel almost like vanity projects, honestly just like Triple H matches. Was happy Shida won but even booking wise I wouldn’t have done it. I mean this was like Nyla’s third match since winning the belt, they killed off another monster, and Mox and Lee was just kinda there. I hate that with Mox they keep feuding him with people he fought in WWE. Jericho, Hager, and Lee. I wanna see Mox in there feuding with some fresh faces, and I kinda feel bad that once again Mox feels like a mid card world champion behind other more interesting guys.

Terrible edit job on that double powerbomb on Omega. Something happened they didn't want us to see. Looked like Santana's table flipped and he fell
