go ahead and make your selections for each group. it can help speed up the process of getting everything in motion that way, rather than doing one by one, as not everyone that's participating will be on here daily to post their picks right away. once the rosters are finalized, then i'll move forward, updating anything that's recommended as far as rule changes and whatnot, then finally randomizing the match-ups to begin the game. there is quite a bit of new information in the op now, so everyone that's signed up, be sure to check all that out and let me know if there's any recommendations you have before the cards are announced. i do apologize if it was not clear that we would be selecting one from each section right off the bat. if the overall group feels that's unfair, i reckon we could start over, but that will slightly delay everything. again, if you all have any recommendations, questions, or disagree with anything there, go ahead and mention it. i'm willing to discuss and even change some things for improvement. honestly, a solid portion of that information i came up on the fly with as i was getting the post updated. no one actually gave me any different ideas as far as what was originally posted, so i just came up with a few different things on my own.

as far as the seasons go, the start date/idea/name/etc. of the next season will be determined by the person that comes in first place for this go around. as i stated in the updated op, the winner pretty much has free reign to change things up so long as it's not something ridiculous that would guarantee someone immediate victory or whatever. season two's theme could be a totally different kind of tournament, depending on what the winner wants, such as specialty matches each card, singles only, tag team only, round robin, as long as it makes sense. i personally kind've want each season to have it's own different theme, so it's not the same thing every time we start fresh. now, the only real prizes for now are listed in the op. i know i had mentioned a few other things previously, but i'd personally be more willing to give up some physical prizes if this were to succeed and at least go on into season two. that being said, the first place winner will also be able to decide the next seasons prizes for each tier as far as similar things like what i have listed. i can explain all the options to the winner at a later date though. BUT, if anyone wants to put something physical up for grabs to incentivize a particular tier win, or achievement like going undefeated or something, i'm down for that too. i was personally considering throwing up one big surprise gift if anyone manages to get a grand slam/win each division in a single season. it's not listed as of right now, but if someone actually wins it all this season, i'll definitely send it out, lol.

yes, so each participant will choose someone from the divisions listed, giving us all 3 different selections a piece. now, with there being 6 of us participating and only 6 slots a card for the first 3 rounds, our weekly match types will fluctuate. a men's singles one week, a women's singles another week, and a tag team the remaining week in no particular order. so week one, the first name i draw would get the [1] match slot, second name drawn would get [2] match slot and so on like this:

MEN'S DIVISION
[5] VS [6] 

if you win your weekly match, your wrestler earns a semi final slot in week four which is a triple threat (round one winner vs round two winner vs round three winner, one match per division still) if you lose, your wrestler(s) will be eliminated from that part of the tournament, but you're still playing to win one of the other two drafts you have left. so when i go to pull from the six names for the second week, i'm starting back at [1] and [2]. if you've already had that first match and i draw your name, i just pick again until it's two people that haven't had that match type yet. week three you get whatever match is left that you haven't been in. the winners of the week 4 triple threat matches go directly to the finals. week 5 is second chance matches between the losers of week four. if you lose that match you're eliminated, if you win it, you're still in and face week 4 winners in the finals.

once the finals are over with, we could either call that game for season one and determine the finalists at that point. or we could extend it to have a part two, following the same structure but draft picks would be limited to people that weren't picked in the first half. i really hadn't even considered until now lol, but it could be arranged.
