AEW: Fall Brawl Tournament

Before the first match, we get a video package. It starts with Cody throwing around some serious weight in the gym. We alternate between that and footage of Cody’s previous matches. “I’ve been doubted my whole life. No one expected me to be a world’s champion and the EVP of a major wrestling promotion. I have worked my entire life to become one of the biggest names in wrestling today. Page was a great guy. We’ve spent a ton of time together on the road and THIS is not my friend. This version of Hangman is a drunk. This version of Hangman can’t get the job done in the ring. He’s not a leader. He’s not a star. He’s a boozer who might not even make it to the show tonight. This isn’t personal, Adam. This is your wake up call.”

MJF def. Omega. Kenny has MJF beat, but that gosh darn Wardlow tossed the ring to ol’ Max.

Post match Statlander, Fenix, and Penta (in their hella cool Obsidian gear) jump Wardlow. Now alone, MJF watches Cody make his way down. The 2 men come face to face. Cody smiles and hands MJF a white towel. “You thought you ruined my career when you threw that towel. All you did was p*ss off a very powerful man”. Cody waves off his 3 teammates and starts to walk off. They pose on stage as the show goes off the air.

due to the late post, this will close up next saturday evening. i created some medal graphics as well if the winners want to use them in sigs or whatever. the other rewards for next time are located in the op but i will also post them along with the winners and their medals next weekend when this wraps up.

Congratulations to the winners, and THANK YOU to everyone who gave this a shot the first time around! Whether you were a participant, voted, or contributed anything to the thread, you helped make this successful. If you want to keep playing, or if you'd like to sign up to play, more information will be coming in the near future for Season 2, so stay tuned.

LK3  since you won first place, you get to decide the name, format, rules, etc. of Season 2. Essentially, free reign as long as things are kept fair and you don't abuse your power. You can keep any existing rules and/or change what you'd like, besides the prizes that Yambag Jones and @brit_figs have won to use in the upcoming season. Shoot me a PM regarding format/ideas you may have and I can start working on a graphic/layout for it to get the ball rolling. I'd like to aim for sometime in January as far as opening sign-ups but there's no immediate rush. I'll provide help with anything that I can.

As a side note: Since no one won Grand Slam Champion this go around, I'll still be offering (at least) the surprise gift that was up for grabs from myself in some form or fashion. LK3 can decide if the other prizes currently listed still apply or if those will be changing. I'll provide further details/updates as soon as possible.
