okay, so i've gone back to the op for what i believe should be the final time to make some minor tweaks and further clarifications in wording and layout. the only other edits i will make throughout this season will be adding Showtime Sheehan picks when he posts them, updating win/loss records throughout, the match cards as they're announced, and lastly the tournament winners. when season one ends and details are released for the second, all the information regarding anything prior will be hidden within spoiler tags, in order to keep the history stored, as well as keep the op mainly focused on what's most current or coming soon. |

I get the whole idea but who picks the winners of the matches? whoever receives the most votes per match will win. any board member can vote with basically any reasoning. if they just want to say x beats y, they can. if they want to explain why, fantasy book it, whatever, they can. if i explained why/how i think x beats y, and someone likes it or agrees with it, they can also use that as their reason for voting that way. the latter being why i added the rule of not voting for yourself in a match. instead of just being biased and voting for self because your draft pick is in the match, explain why/how they would win, if you want. your booking could potentially make someone change their mind if they were voting against you before. (ex.) shanna (my pick) vs tay conti (your pick) let's say 5 people have voted for shanna, and 4 people have voted for tay. when we place our votes for that weeks card, we would explain/book why our pick would beat the other's. at that point, if 2 people decided to change their votes to tay instead of shanna, you would be winning now with more votes. the person with the most votes at the end of that week's voting period wins the match. |

Match 2: Jurassic Express Match 3: Young Bucks Match 4: I’m not allowed to vote, but Lucha Bros seems obvious. They’re dangerous. Deadly even. They’ve had one of the best tag matches in AEW (few matches can top the Ladder Match at All Out). On their own, they’re two of the best singles wrestlers and together they’ve won tag team gold multiple times (notably AAA & PWG). The Best Friends are fun, but this is a damn wrestling match and there’s nothing that can stop The Lucha Bros. 😉 |
