Rey Mysterio.
He was given 3 world title reigns and every single one was utter trash.

I'm torn between Ultimate Warrior, Goldberg, and Orton. How dare you disparage the name of Randal Keith, I'm lowkey mad anyone out there doesn't like him. I'm sure people like the guy, but I never saw him as a main event guy. They certainly pushed him (a lot) and told you (constantly) that he was a star, he just never felt like it. Unlike Warrior and Goldberg, he does work very safe (mostly because he doesn't do much ).

Most of them don’t do it for me. I’ve never been much of a main event fan. When I was a kid it was Rock and Austin on top and I liked what was going on with the IC and hardcore title more.
Now it’s Drew and Roman and I usually don’t care. If they have a match against a Bryan, AJ, Seth etc then maybe I care more.

He does far more than Warrior and Goldberg ever did. Orton in one match does more than either of them ever did in their entire careers. As someone who grew up during his peak he was a star right around the same level as Cena and Triple H and what not. Orton was the top heel for over a decade and still arguably is. The guy is literally the blueprint for wrestling success and I'm not quoting JBL's propaganda commentary. Orton (in my opinion) is an all-time great. I don't care what anybody says.

If he counts, Alberto Del Rio. He was a main event guy since he debuted and was absolutely awful. He had nothing to get excited about, and honestly Ricardo was more over than him. Add the fact he used to have an entrance with exotic cars and WWE took that aspect away. I agree about Ricardo. It's a shame WWE wouldn't let Ricardo wrestle outside of house shows as El Local.

Jinder Mahal and it’s not even close. Seven months of Jinder was better than 3-5 years of Warrior.

Off the top of my head Benoit Guerrero Jeff Jarrett JBL The Miz (the guy main evented a Wrestlemania) Christian Rey Mysterio Jeff Jarrett is the only one I'll accept, all of the other ones were good to great. JBL was a fantastic heel as was Miz. Eddie just oozed that top guy charisma. Benoit was like a next gen Bret Hart in the fed. Christian is the most underrated wrestler ever (yeah I f*cking said it). Rey Rey was a huge merch draw and was one of the pillars of his era.

Rey Mysterio. He was given 3 world title reigns and every single one was utter trash. Rey Mysterio's title runs absolutely sucked, he was an all-timer when it came to underdog chasing the belt but once he got it they booked him into the ground or put him in the middle of another B.O.D. feud or had him lose to Cena an hour later (f*cking Cena strikes again).

roman reigns dean ambrose Edge cena christian kevin owens babyface Reigns is a top contender for worst main eventer ever. Peak Super Cena was the bane of my existence. Kevin Owens in WWE works best as the upper mid-carder who occasionally gets pushed up for big matches because he delivers in-ring. Ambrose was always held down by Roman's push. Christian's 2011 top run was good as a Christian fan (at times) but his NWA-TNA run is the stuff of legend. But Edge? How was he a bad main eventer? He was probably the best heel for about half a decade and was always a highlight.

I have never liked edge and think hes an intercontinental title holder at best. upper mid card but not 10x wwe champ

If they count as main eventers then it could be any of Miz, Del Rio, KO, Rollins.

My other favorites are near universally loved by us stupid marks.

If they count as main eventers then it could be any of Miz, Del Rio, KO, Rollins. I've been a Miz fan since he was a goofy jobber in long shorts with a multicolored faux hawk. I've always been luke warm on Del Rio. I love me some Owens but I don't see him as the Steve Austin of his generation but rather the Mick Foley. I was a huge Rollins fan from 2008 until ummmm I'd say the summer of 2019... But I think that's just me and nobody else.
