Episode 23: GM: Ted DiBiase, Jr. Commentary Team: Corey Graves & Jeremy Borash Destruction Champions WWX 6-Man Tag Team Champions: Eddie Guerrero, Chavo Guerrero, & Jay Lethal WWX Hardcore Champion: Maven
Pre-Show Match (Only available on the WWX Network): WWX Internet Championship Match Sonjay Dutt vs. Brodus Clay
Maven: I like being the Hardcore Champion, but my future lies beyond it. I will go down in WWX history as the longest reigning Hardcore Champion of all time. Unfortunately, due to the titles rules, Monty Brown has no reason to make a Hardcore Championship match main event the biggest PPV of the year so I have no choice but to look to the future. I am going to tell you all the big news that they are trying to keep secret from you. They have kept it under wraps successfully all week. Until tonight......I am officially announcing the partnership of the WWX and the N...W....A! This means the NWA Championship is coming. It will transcend brands, it will transcend the WWX. The NWA Championship can and will be defended all over the world. In addition to the elimination chamber matches, there will be a Gauntlet match to crown the new NWA Champion, and if I am not Hardcore Champion by then you can bet that my hat will be in there, and then Monty Brown will have no choice but to choose to face me! I thought for sure that would get him to come out here, I thought for sure I had brought meaning to the Hardcore Championship, but so many people in this company have been champions for years it no longer means anything. Maybe it's because I have only beaten 1 man in my reign, fine, fair enough, but tonight Monty Brown will address me.
Match 1: Rey Mysterio vs. Chris Sabin
DiBiase Jr.: Thank you Maven for ruining that surprise, but I am going to at least match that announcement with one of my own. Monty Brown not taking you seriously and coming out to speak to your concerns has made me realize that there are people who don't respect my champions on Destruction. Not me, personally, I think my Hardcore Champion, the only one in the history of any Hardcore Championship to hold it for years in one reign (regardless of how he's done that), has proven himself quite capable of carrying the show. That said we have to prepare for the show that we prepare all year for, our showdown with Eric Bischoff in December, and to do that we must have the same number of champions, the same championships, and, most importantly, his attention. So, tonight's main event will be for the biggest prize on Destruction moving forward, the WWX Grand Championship.
Graves: Do you believe this Borash? Apparently, the Spirit Squad has taken what DiBiase has just said to heart and have petitioned and been granted their own championship! Citing being overlooked as simply tag team competitors. We can only speculate as to what this championship will do in the future once it's activated, but it appears as if only the Spirit Squad will be competing for it, at least as far as tonight is concerned.
Match 2: WWX NexGen Championship Match Mikey vs. Kenny
Borash: Ladies and gentlemen, these next two championship matches are being held solely to determine the inaugural champions. From this point forward, they will be defended only in their respective locations.
Match 3: WWX North American Championship Match Jerry Lynn vs. Shad
Graves: So far tonight Royal Rumble winner Monty Brown has not addressed the Hardcore Champion's concerns. For almost 6-Months now the Hardcore Championship has been the preeminent title on this brand, it closes out the show before any other championship. That may all change after tonight and Maven may be trying to get out ahead of that. Borash: I have to agree with you there Corey, I mean tonight a World Champion will be crowned on this show as The Undertaker, who started his tenure on this brand by battling his brother a 7 match series of hellacious matches, will take on the Samoan Submission Machine Samoa Joe. Brown is playing his intentions very close to the belt, but he is taking advantage of his opportunities and defeating champions on their own shows. The thing is Brown can challenge for Maven's Hardcore Championship any time he wants, but the question remains does Brown think the Hardcore Championship puts him on the map in the WWX? Because the LCWF roster is obviously on notice for him as he is the go to man to beat from now until at least next January perhaps even further down the line.
Match 4: WWX United Kingdom Championship Triple Threat Match Alex Shelley vs. Kenny Dykstra vs. Super Crazy
Main Event: WWX Grand Championship Match The Undertaker vs. Samoa Joe

It was in the Main Event of the 2nd episode of this show that then-WWX Hardcore Champion Goldberg successfully defended the title in a hardcore match against The Big Show in what would be a 3-Month reign by powerbombing him through a table on the outside from the top rope.

The Motor City Machine Guns have been chasing after Los Guerreros and Jay Lethal for the last 20 weeks of Destruction. Will they finally be able to get back to the top?

DiBiase, Jr.: Tomorrow night one more championship will be coming to this brand, and then I will make an announcement that has the potential to change things around here in a big way. But, here is one announcement for you right now, in December when we have the biggest crossbranded PPV of the year every year from now on that show will last 8 hours. In the coming years shows might not need that much time, but we will always have that amount of time set aside just in case.

Pre-Show: Winner and 1st ever WWX Internet Champion Sonjay Dutt def. Brodus Clay following a 450 splash.
Match 1: Rey Mysterio def. Chris Sabin after a moonsault from the top rope.
Match 2: Winner and 1st ever WWX NexGen Champion Mikey def. Kenny following a brainbuster.
Match 3: Winner and 1st ever WWX North American Champion Shad def. Jerry Lynn following an STO.
Match 4: Winner and 1st ever WWX United Kingdom Champion Kenny Dykstra def. Alex Shelley and Super Crazy after a top rope spinning neckbreaker to Shelley.
Main Event: Winner and 1st ever WWX Grand Champion The Undertaker def. Samoa Joe following the Last Ride.
Episode 24: GM: Ted DiBiase, Jr. Commentary Team: Corey Graves & Jeremy Borash Destruction Champions WWX Grand Champion: The Undertaker WWX United Kingdom Champion: Kenny Dykstra WWX North American Champion: Shad WWX NexGen Champion: Mikey WWX Internet Champion: Sonjay Dutt WWX 6-Man Tag Team Champions: Eddie Guerrero, Chavo Guerrero, & Jay Lethal WWX Hardcore Champion: Maven
DiBiase, Jr.: Hello everyone and welcome to the final WWX show before Alcatraz. I am out here to announce two huge things. Maven was correct last week in saying that this Sunday a Gauntlet match will be held to declare the first ever NWA Champion as the partnership between them and us is official. Furthermore, the first ever WWX Universal Champion will be declared as the result of an elimination chamber match. Coming up next is a tag team match to determine the first two men to qualify for this illustrious new championship.
Match 1: WWX Universal Championship Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match Ryback/Brodus Clay vs. Johnny/Nicky
Monty Brown: I know all week long all of you were probably thinking "where's Monty?" and "when are we going to hear from Monty again?", well I have to make sure these champions are on edge because I am coming for one of them, but right now they should all be nervous because I am about to make my name in this company off of one of them. On this brand alone you have the Grand Champion The Undertaker, but now this Sunday a Universal Champion is going to be thrown into the mix so that's 7 people right now at least that should be thinking about whether or not they want me to pick them. Then let's not forget Eric Bischoff, currently my boss, who wants me to choose one of his champions and make history, which also favors my attitude at the moment. Not to mention my historic victories over both Edge and Batista on their own shows. I debuted in the WWX before I was even supposed to and I still have not been signed, that's another reason why it's so difficult for you all to hear what I have to say. Maven: A main event player does not make excuses. I noticed you name dropped The Undertaker, but my challenge from last week went unanswered, well now I'm about to get in your face and you probably won't pick me as your opponent, but make no mistake about it if you pick one of the champions on my show you will have to deal with me because I'm not going anywhere. My championship is always on the line, I intend to keep it, but the second I take my eyes off this belt they will be focused on you. Sabin: Gentlemen, you're forgetting one important thing, well two important things. The Motor City Machine Guns. Shelley and I have nowhere to go but up in this company while you two are only talking about what will happen if you eventually cross paths. Maven if you want to wait until you lose your title to make threats I can certainly help you do that right now!
Match 2: WWX Hardcore Championship Match Maven (c) vs. Chris Sabin
Match 3: The Undertaker vs. Kane
Match 4: Los Guerreros vs. Jerry Lynn/Daivari
Senshi: Many of you may remember that about two weeks ago I won the 2nd annual Regal Bash match. You may also recall that after the first one William Regal negotiated his prize with then-GM Edge, and even though he didn't act on it, they decided that the winner each year would be allowed to switch brands without requesting a trade or being drafted. Unlike him, I have decided to leave Friday nights. Things have not been great for me here, I mean I have defeated each member of the 6-man tag team champions in non-title matches multiple times, but each time I get a match for the championships my teammates can never get the job done. As a result, I have decided to move to......TUESDAY NIGHTS! Batista just won the WWX Championship, he's still settling in to his reign, it is one of the biggest prizes in this company, and it is more in turmoil than ever.
Match 5: WWX Universal Championship Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match Rey Mysterio/R-Truth vs. Muhammad Hassan/Gregory Helms
Main Event: WWX Universal Championship Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match Psicosis/Lance Cade vs. The Great Khali/Jimmy Snuka

Episode 25: GM: Ted DiBiase, Jr. Commentary Team: Corey Graves & Jeremy Borash Destruction Champions WWX Grand Champion: The Undertaker WWX United Kingdom Champion: Kenny Dykstra WWX North American Champion: Shad WWX NexGen Champion: Mikey WWX Internet Champion: Sonjay Dutt WWX 6-Man Tag Team Champions: Eddie Guerrero, Chavo Guerrero, & Jay Lethal WWX Hardcore Champion: Maven
Graves: Looks like we are set to hear from the Royal Rumble winner Monty Brown right now. I wonder if he has his mind made up. He's had about a month to think it over and has only appeared sporadically. Monty Brown: I know all of you are expecting me to challenge one of the Elimination Chamber winners in my main event match, but CM Punk has to take on one of those men and it could be critical for me to know whether or not Punk is the World Champion after that match. *Out comes The Undertaker and his manager Paul Bearer* Paul Bearer: My Undertaker knows you are wise not to mention his name tonight, but he feels disrespected that you have not just announced him as your opponent. Every one, even his own brother, wants to be the man who takes down my Undertaker. Undertaker senses fear in you, the fear that if you step into the ring for his championship, then your WWX career will be ended before it even begins. Monty Brown: The only man I have seen The Undertaker defeat is Kane, and Kane beat him in a steel cage at that. It seems to me that you want me to put this show and The Undertaker in the main event not because he is the man to beat, but because without me choosing you you won't be anywhere near the main event of a big show. The Undertaker is already a legend in the locker room, but there is talk about whether or not he can still go. Sure, the triangle choke he put Kane away with last week was as impressive as it has always been, but if you step in the ring with a younger, faster, and more devastating athlete such as myself you wouldn't even get close to locking that in. Kane: On this show I have faced my brother on 8 separate occasions, but he is the one who is champion and as such he is the one who has our father's attention. I am being underestimated by all 3 of you. Who must I make an example out of tonight to ensure none of you make that mistake again? Between now and SlamStock I will face my brother one more time for the championship. Brown you have far more matches to watch, forget CM Punk, I am the one that will give you the match of your career. I competed in the Main Event at Alcatraz. Something neither of you can say. I am already a main event player, you don't have to worry about that with me Brown. I am going to SlamStock one way or the other. *Kane turns around to leave and Mick Foley shoves Mr. Sicko right down his gullet!* Foley: Mrs. Foley's baby boy has a new dream. It may not be a boyhood dream, but it's one that all of the fans are going to want to see. All of this talk about main events and who faces who when and where. These fans only care about getting to watch a bloodbath and I am just the man to give it to them!
Match 1: First Blood Match Kane vs. Mick Foley
Match 2: Eddie Guerrero & Jay Lethal vs. The MotorCity Machine Guns
Match 3: Kenny Dykstra, Psicosis, & Doug Basham vs. Tatanka, Muhammad Hassan, & Gregory Helms
Match 4: Sonjay Dutt & Shad vs. The Great Khali & Daivari
Match 5: The Undertaker, Brodus Clay, & Ryback vs. Samoa Joe, Jerry Lynn, & Rey Mysterio
Main Event: Champion vs. Champion Mikey vs. Chavo Guerrero

Episode 26: GM: Ted DiBiase, Jr. Commentary Team: Corey Graves & Jeremy Borash NWA Champion: Bobby Lashley Destruction Champions WWX Grand Champion: The Undertaker WWX United Kingdom Champion: Kenny Dykstra WWX North American Champion: Shad WWX NexGen Champion: Mikey WWX Internet Champion: Sonjay Dutt WWX 6-Man Tag Team Champions: Eddie Guerrero, Chavo Guerrero, & Jay Lethal WWX Hardcore Champion: Maven WWX Universal Champion: Lance Cade
Monty Brown and Ted DiBiase Jr. are backstage. Brown tells him that he has chosen tonight to tell the world who he has chosen to face at SlamStock. But they’re going to have to wait just a bit longer until the end of the night. DiBiase tells him that if he’s chosen The Undertaker, then there’s a chance it won’t be The Undertaker for too much longer because, as a result of beating Kane last week, Mick Foley will be taking on Undertaker this week and if he beats him then The Undertaker will defend the Grand Championship against Mick Foley at Vendetta. DiBiase says he’s sorry, but he has to start planning for the titles Brown isn’t going to pick. Brown storms off angry that he’s still not able to be sure which person will be holding the titles.
*A clip is shown of last week where a bloodied Kane came out and attacked Psicosis and Doug Basham after their team lost the match* Heidenreich is the only one in the back crazy enough to team with Kane right now.
Match 1: Psicosis/Doug Basham vs. Kane/Heidenreich
Graves: Ladies and Gentlemen, for the very first time, your Universal Champion Lance Cade! Tonight I’ll compete in my first main event. This opportunity means a lot to me because I’ve always said that all I needed was the chance and I would apply myself in a way that no one ever thought possible. I wasn’t content simply being in a Tag Team and dominating that division, I’m a star in my own right. I feel so confident now and I feel like you all know what I can do that I’ll make short work of the biggest man in that locker room right here before you all.
Jay Lethal makes his way down to the ring and says people have been wondering how he was the one that got chosen to join Los Guerreros in the match to crown the first ever 6 Man Tag Team Champions, he says that he showed why last week. He says that this group was started to revive the idea behind Evolution, it was to bring a young guy, a current guy, and a veteran together to wreak havoc and that’s what they’ve been doing. Last week it was Lethal who helped them fight off more challengers while Chavo was getting beaten. He means absolutely no disrespect to Chavo, but once this team is forced to break up everyone knows it’s Lethal who will be the breakout star.
Match 2: Mikey vs. Jay Lethal
Bearer and The Undertaker are backstage. Bearer says that Mick Foley doesn’t stand a chance against The Undertaker tonight, if Brown wants the Grand Championship he will have to go through Undertaker. Kane lost last week because Bearer is in Undertakers corner not his, but tonight the full force of the phenom will be unleashed in that ring.
Match 3: WWX Hardcore Championship Hardcore Match Maven (c) vs. Alex Shelley
Gregory Helms is in the back asking Muhammad Hassan why they are teaming up again this week when Tatanka is the one everyone wants to see. Hassan tells him that it worked last week they should keep that momentum going and finally bring new life to the Tag Team division on Destruction. Unfortunately that means that Tatanka will have to lose his shot at the United Kingdom Championship, but wouldn’t it be better if we had something to give him if that happens? Helms says you’re putting a lot of faith in what ifs and hopes, and it might take some sort of superhero to make it happen.
Match 4: Los Guerreros vs. Gregory Helms/Muhammad Hassan
JB is backstage with Mick Foley and he asks him what he thinks about the Monty Brown situation regarding his match tonight. Foley says that maybe Brown should leave The Undertaker to him. He’s beaten one of the brothers of destruction and we don’t know if Monty Brown is going to have what it takes. In fact, Brown would be throwing away his opportunity if he tried to take on The Undertaker at Slamstock. Monty Brown steps in and says a lot of people would say you’re already facing The Undertaker what could be scarier than that? Make no mistake if you beat him you will find out!
Match 5: The Undertaker vs. Mick Foley
Monty Brown: I have to admit I’ve had fun tonight and I’ve been messing with your heads. I’ve known who I was going to pick since last Sunday when I saw him win the elimination chamber and if you watched Alcatraz you know who I mean. I would have attacked him and made my point then, but it sends a bigger statement to keep him guessing and prove I’m the better man. So tonight I’m letting you all know that I will be competing for the......WWX Championship. 10 years the first reign with that title was, and 10 years is what my reign will be!
Main Event: Lance Cade vs. The Great Khali

Match 4: Gregory Helms & Muhammad Hassan defeated Los Guerreros after Helms put Chavo down with a shining wizard.
Match 5: The Undertaker defeated Mick Foley after the triangle deathlock caused him to lose consciousness.

As the Friday, March 12, 2021 edition of WWX Friday Night Destruction kicks off, we immediately head into a video package highlighting the impressive WWX debut and WWX Royal Rumble 2021 victory of LCWF Superstar, Monty Brown. Monty Brown collapses onto the mat as Chris Masters watches from the outside as we can hear the announcement from the commentary team from the pay-per-view event that took place back in January, as they shout, BROWN WINS! BROWN WINS!"
The sound clips continue as we see video of Brown's celebration following his victory at the pay-per-view. We hear, "Brown just achieved the impossible! and "Brown just won the 1st ever Royal Rumble, Monty Brown is going to Slamboree!" Then we hear Brown's voice ask matter-of-factly, "So now... does it matter which champion I choose?" "But, I choose WWX Champion Batista!" As the video package ends it runs into the Destruction theme video package and the show officially starts live.
We are welcomed to tonight's WWX Friday Night Destruction as Jeremy Borash stands in the center of the ring with a microphone in his hand as he begins, Borash: "Ladies and Gentleman, as you just saw, the main event match at SlamStock may be Batista vs. Monty Brown, for the WWX Championship. Or it may not be. My guest tonight has certainly been vocal on the subject of late. Please welcome, the man who will forever be the '1st Royal Rumble winner ever', and defeated two of the WWX's champions in main events after his historic victory...Monty Brown!
We hear the entrance theme for Monty Brown sound over the speakers in the arena of the arena as Brown makes his way to the stage as the crowd pops. The WWX Universe immediately heads into a "Pounce! Pounce! Pounce!" chant as Brown makes his way down the ramp towards the ring, looking all business. *Brown enters the ring with Jeremy Borash.*
"Monty, welcome" Borash begins. Brown thanks him. Borash continues on to state very matter-of-factly that tonight Rey Mysterio and R-Truth are set to go one on one to determine a #1 Contender to Lance Cade's Universal Championship. Borash: Tonight’s main event match-up between Mysterio and Truth is a Steel Cage match and the winner will earn a shot against Cade at WWX Vendetta 2021 which is just around the corner. I bring this up because we all would like to know which champions did you truly consider?
Borash then adds that "if by chance Cade leaves Vendetta with the Universal Championship, then the audience will be left to question whether you chose based on which would be the tougher battle for you or if you took the easy way out. Why not wait it out until after Vendetta to make your decision official? Why feel rushed when Slamboree is still weeks away?
As Borash finally takes a breath and allows Brown to get a response in. Brown: Borash is making assumptions. I was always going to pick one of the champions that I defeated because if I can do it once I can do it again. Of course, I could have won any title I chose, but embarrassing a champion by beating them twice is more my style. I understand why you all may have hoped I'd be considering certain other people... but I had to do what was best for me, I'm not even signed to the roster yet. Plus I'd be lying if I said I didn't think the fans view me facing Batista in the main event as a kind of dream match. I mean make no mistake this will be the biggest match in this company's history. Between Batista and myself only one of us has any chance at beating Michaels' 10 year record, and you all know who I mean. I may even do whatever I can to make sure Batista is still holding that championship when the time finally comes. *Brown shoos Borash out* I am in this business to prove that anyone can beat anyone else at any time, but especially me, and at Slamboree I will prove that theory to be absolute fact.
Match 1: Both Basham and Kane jockey for control in the center of the ring. Kane quickly turns it into an abdominal stretch. Basham tries to break free but Kane just boots him down to the mat. Kane irish whips him into the corner followed by a quick clothesline and a sidewalk slam. Kane DDTs him. Kane steps on his chest, putting all of his weight on him and gets a nearfall. Basham starts gaining control with a series of chops of all things. *The Undertaker's gong hits and the arena lights go down, then come back on* Graves: Hey look! Basham has Kane down in the middle of the ring! 1....2....3! NO! You have got to be kidding, we aren't counting that, tell me we're not counting that! Winner: Doug Basham
Borash: Well Graves, look at the motions Basham is doing, he's swearing he hit Kane with the brainbuster and got away with the clean pin. Whether anyone will believe him well, your guess is as good as mine.
Match 2: Psicosis starts by punching Heidenreich in the face and slamming his face off the turnbuckle. Heidenreich blocks an irish whip and boots him in the face. He goes for a side headlock on the mat, but Psicosis pushes him off. Heidenreich ducks the irish whip. Psicosis hits the dropkick on Heidenreich and goes for the cover. Heidenreich is up at two and they both warily make their way to their feet. Psicosis tries to dropkick him over the top rope, but Heidenreich stables himself. Heidenreich catches the kick attempt, but gets caught with an enziguri. Psicosis rolls him over for another 2. Psicosis goes for a crossbody that connects and sends them both tumbling down to the floor. They trade rights and lefts, but agree to let each other back in the ring as the referee's count was at 8. Heidenreich hits a big running running clothesline, then picks him up and stiffs up with a short arm clothesline. The cover gets him a nearfall. Heidenreich keeps going for clothesline/pin combinations but Psicosis gets the shoulder up every time. Psicosis is up and shoves Heidrenreich away. Heidenreich charges at him, but misses catching only the turnbuckle. Psicosis hits a clothesline in the corner followed by a bulldog. He measures Heidenreich, waits until he's about half way up, then gives him the double underhook DDT. Heidenreich catches his throat and goes for a chokeslam, but Psicosis chops his arm down, kick to the gut, and actually gets him up and over for the suplex. *Kane and Doug Basham burst through the curtain and look to be continuing a fight that started in the locker room* Heidenreich's favoring his back when he looks up and sees what's happening at the top of the ramp. Psicosis takes advantage by dropkicking him into the ropes, he bounces off, and Psicosis uses his momentum to roll him up. Winner: Psicosis
Match 3: Lethal and Clay approach each other as the bell rings, Lethal uses a waistlock takedown. Clay bumps off and he tries it again. Brodus Clay reverses with an arm drag. Clay goes for a wristlock, but Lethal rolls through and takes him over with a side headlock. Clay's up fast and charges into a drop toe hold putting his knee directly into the canvas. Lethal stomps on the legs, then a big splash on both legs. Stepover toe hold, and Lethal drops his knees to the back of Clay's legs. Lethal into the pin attempt for a nearfall. Lethal wrenches in the toe hold again, but Clay makes it to the ropes. Clay slowly makes his way back to his feet and as Lethal closes in, Clay connects with a side kick dead in the face. Clay sets Lethal up on the top rope, and a superplex! Lethal back up and holding himself in the corner, but here comes Clay with a splash in the corner. Clay goes to the top, but Lethal launches him off. Lethal waits for him to get back up, he ducks the clothesline attempt and reverses it into the bridging german suplex for 2. Lethal rolls to the outside and Clay tries to bait him back in to no avail. Lethal tries to springboard back in but gets chopped down right to the chest. Lethal gets back up and tries a suplex out of desperation, but gets nowhere. Clay launches him across the ring with the overhead suplex and drags him back to the center. Winner: Brodus Clay
Match 4: Dykstra and Lynn start off with a slugfest, getting to the point where each punch almost knocks the other man off his feet. Then they lock up, Dykstra gets the best of it with a side headlock take down. He backs off, but puts Lynn down again with a shoulder block. Lynn tries a dropkick, but gets slapped away, Dykstra goes for the pin and gets 2. He starts wrenching the arm while Lynn's down, using his positioning for leverage. He gives Lynn a hard kick to the forearm. Lynn gives him a headbutt. Dykstra takes him up with a fireman's carry. Lynn slips down and chop blocks his leg out from under him. Lynn starts working Dykstra's arm with a wristlock, then snapping his arm back. Lynn tries to sidestep, but can't get out of the way fast enough, taken down with a clothesline followed by a powerslam. Dykstra punches him into the corner and starts with the shoulder blocks. Dykstra hits a snap suplex out of the corner and is back to his feet. Lynn is up faster than expected and hurricanranas him over the top rope. Dykstra shoves Daivari out of the way and slides back in the ring, but gets met with a crossbody from Lynn. Lynn puts him in a modified boston crab, but he's too close to the ropes. Lynn charges at him when he's back up, but Dykstra's ready with a drop toe hold. Dykstra scouts him, clubs him from behind, and gives him the swinging neck breaker. Winner: WWX United Kingdom Champion Kenny Dykstra
Match 5: Alex Shelley joins the announce team for this next one. Sabin rushes at Shad and lifts him up for a fallaway slam. Then throws him over with a gutwrench suplex for a count of 1. Shad tries to come off the ropes, but Sabin's ready for him with a crossbody. Shad throws him off then boots him through the ropes and down to the floor. Shad hits a baseball slide sending him into the announce desk. Shad goes out and brings Sabin back in, he gives him a tilt a whirl slam for a nearfall. Sabin shoves Shad into the turnbuckles and hits a flying forearm smash. He whips him back and forth between the turnbuckles, giving him forearm after forearm before ending with a knee to the face. Sabin puts him down with a shining wizard. Shelley: Look at him this champion has barely gotten any offense in during this match. Sabin lifts him back up, he's out on his feet, and puts him back down with the future shock brainbuster. Winner: Chris Sabin
Main Event: The Steel Cage is lowered as Mysterio and Truth are ready for anything. Mysterio starts with a forearm to Truth. Truth responds by lifting him up and throwing him into the cage wall, then grinds his face into the cage as much as possible with the mask. Truth drives Mysterio head first into the cage and tells the ref to open the door. He starts to walk out but his leg is grapevined by Mysterio. Truth rains down rights and lefts, then makes to climb out of the cage. Mysterio gets over and pulls him down to the top rope. They take turns bouncing each other's heads off the cage, then Truth drops Mysterio onto the ropes. Truth gives Mysterio an uppercut and drives him into the turnbuckle. Truth unwraps one of the turnbuckles exposing the steel, he goes to bounce Mysterio's head off it, but Mysterio reverses it and Truth tastes the turnbuckle instead. Mysterio goes to the top turnbuckle now planning a missile drop kick. He connects, but now both men are down. Mysterio is up first and starts hammering away with kicks to Truth's left arm. Then he wristlocks the arm over his shoulder and drops it down. Then Mysterio starts driving Truth into the cage left shoulder first. Truth whips Mysterio into the ropes, but Mysterio uses that to propel himself up the cage. Truth drags him down and wraps him in the tree of woe. Truth starts giving Mysterio calculated shots to his arthritic knee. Truth starts climbing, but his slowed from the pain in his arm. Mysterio stops him and they're both kind of suspended there. Truth drops down first, grabs Mysterio and gives him a samoan drop off the top rope. They're both back up and start climbing the cage at the same time trading shots every step of the way. They both drag each other of the cage, but they come crashing down to the canvas. They both trade kicks back and forth, then Truth catches him with a stiff one to the side of the head. Truth follows up with a big splash and gets a 2 count. Truth tries to make his way to the door, but again Mysterio grapevines his ankle. Truth gives him an enziguri, but Mysterio is back up and low dropkicks him taking his leg out. Truth hits the bicycle kick and gets another 2. Mysterio backslides him and gets a 2 count himself. He lets Truth go but his back on him quick with hard elbows to the back of the head. Mysterio tries to bend his arm back into a submission but Truth starts giving him punches to the head with his free arm. Truth goes for the top of the cage, but again Mysterio's behind him and this time grabs hold of his legs. Mysterio drags Truth down and starts climbing himself, but Truth is able to pull him down too. Mysterio slams Truth headfirst into the cage a few times, then gives him a suplex. Mysterio grapevines Truth's left arm in a leglock, and Truth is in the ropes but there's no rope breaks. Mysterio wrenches back on the arm and drives his foot into the shoulder, Truth has to tap out. Winner and #1 Contender to the WWX Universal Championship: Rey Mysterio
Graves: So there it is Rey Mysterio will meet Lance Cade for the Universal Championship next Sunday at Vendetta. Truth is not happy and neither is GM Ted DiBiase who is slamming his head against the monitor backstage. *Mysterio climbs to the top of the cage and gives his Eddie salute as we close out*

This week's show kicks off with a recap of last week's steel cage match that saw Rey Mysterio earn a Universal Title shot against Lance Cade at WWX Vendetta.
PREPARE YOURSELVES!
The theme for the weekly WWX on FOX program plays as the camera pans around the ThunderDome inside Tropicana Field as the commentary team led by Jeremy Borash welcomes us to the show.
From there we hear the familiar sounds of the entrance theme song of "The Master of the 619" as Rey Mysterio makes his way down to the ring to kick off this week's show. Mysterio's music fades down, Mysterio: "I need to get a few things off my chest before tonight's contract signing for the big 6-Man Tag Team Championship Match, like for starters why I don't get a contract signing against Lance Cade that waives all legal liability from me when I tear him to pieces on Sunday? Anyway, now that I get a shot at Lance Cade allow me to speak to him directly, if I may. Neither of us have any allegiance to anyone or owe anybody anything so we are free to have a one on one fight that proves which of us is the better man. Much like Monty Brown I earned my way to a shot at one of the biggest titles in this company. Only I didn't get a choice, but I didn't need one, Cade is still new to this, he has no idea what it means to be champion all by himself, he has nobody watching his back. I've been WWF Champion, it's my experience that will take me back to the top once again. Cade needs to prove his win at Alcatraz wasn't just a fluke, and he can prove that by beating me two times in a row on the big stage. He's the ultimate busboy, and my job now is simply to prove it. I will admit R-Truth put up a good fight last week, and if I can't do it for any reason, I'd be more than happy to see Truth do it because he still deserves his shot too. Cade needs to show everyone who he is as champion because it usually changes you. Cade, I fought in the main event last week while you took the night off, so it seems to me like you've already become complacent. I take exception to that, a champion competes whether the championship is at stake or not, you are still a wrestler."
Before Mysterio can say anything else, he is interrupted by the familiar sounds of R-Truth's theme song. Truth makes his way down as the fans on the ThunderDome screens break out into a "What's up!" chant. Truth: "If we're going to talk flukes how we can be so sure you definitively should be the man to face Cade this Sunday? I respect that you beat me last week and I respect your reign as WWF Champion, but I was the only reason you were even put in the elimination chamber. Be honest, you said Cade's win was a fluke because you're not so sure in yourself. Anything can happen and if you don't give me more credit I'm not sure I'll be there if you ask for my help. I was furious when I lost last week but we started this journey as a team, I would feel worse if I didn't give you the chance to make this right. A lot of people don't respect me or my career, but you knew different and you brought me out of a dark place, allow me to do the same for you. You already have your shot at Cade, but a lot of what you're saying can be said about you. If we go our separate ways over this I need to know now."
Mysterio: "Do you think you know more than me, your actions last week were aggressive. I defeated you even though you were using the cage itself to tear into my flesh and disrespect my mask. I earned the right to be the first to challenge Lance Cade because I endured tough actions at the hands of someone who should have been a trusted friend. I like and respect you Truth, but the way you acted when a title shot was within your grasp is too much for me to handle. I don't think I need a teammate like that." He drops the mic and tells the ref to get rid of Truth because his match is up now.
Match 1: The tag team champions start walking down the ramp to join Mysterio, but their opponents for tonight led by the Universal Champion attack them from behind before they can get there. They shove the three of them into the ring and the bell dings.
Rey Mysterio jumps Cade and starts wailing on him as the referee tries to get this match started with some order. Mysterio Tags into Chavo, Chavo starts with charged punches and starts looking good against the Universal Champion. He gives Cade a hip toss, and allows him to get the Tag into Mikey. Chavo tries to outpace him and takes him down with a side headlock, but Mikey slips out of it before it's cinched in. Mikey hits a standing dropkick and follows it up with a snap suplex before getting the Tag into RyBack. RyBack comes in and lays into Chavo with consecutive clotheslines. RyBack Tag into Brodus Clay. They double team Chavo with a double knee smash before RyBack has to get out. Clay picks up and positions Chavo on the top turnbuckle, but Chavo kicks him off and connects with a tornado DDT. Then he rolls through and Tag into Eddie. Clay reaches over and Tags into Mikey. Eddie lays into him with a headbutt, which sets him up perfectly for the Three Amigos which he, of course, drags out by taunting before each suplex. Then Eddie Tags into Lethal. Lethal and Mikey take each other out with the classic double clothesline. Mikey leaps over and gets the Tag into RyBack. RyBack takes the advantage on a down Lethal by coming off the ropes for a big splash on his back. Lethal starts fighting back, but RyBack knees him in the gut and slaps on a sleeper hold, which brings him back down to one knee. The fans are behind Lethal as he fights his way back to his feet and tangles himself up in the ropes, the hold must break which allows Lethal to follow the rope to his corner and tag in Mysterio. The referee says no legal tag as he did not witness it because he was still trying to keep RyBack off Lethal who was still in the ropes and RyBack was pleading his case. RyBack takes advantage and whips Lethal into his corner allowing the three other men to work him over with kicks and punches. RyBack gives him a huge barreling clothesline in the corner and Tags into Cade. He continues what he was doing on the apron with punches and kicks to a down Lethal, then shoves his boot into Lethal's face before making the Tag into Clay. Clay comes in and whips Lethal hard into a corner. He goes to follow it up, but Lethal low drop kicks his leg sending him face first into the bottom turnbuckle. Lethal gets the Tag into Eddie Guerrero. Eddie enters the ring quick, he ducks the clothesline from Clay and gives him a springboard back elbow, then he punches or clotheslines everyone off the opposing apron. Clay connects with the clothesline on Eddie as he turns around, giving him just enough time to Tag into Mikey, but Eddie was not grounded for long and Mikey comes into a hip toss. Eddie gets ready to go for three consecutive german suplexes this time, but Mikey rolls through and makes the Tag into RyBack. RyBack catches Eddie for a big overhead belly to belly. Everyone's in the ring now as we have three back and forth punching contests and RyBack trying to get around them to get back at Eddie. Chavo and Lethal hit Clay with a big double team suplex, then they crossbody both Cade and Mikey over the top rope and down to the floor. Clay's back up and tries to catch Eddie off guard with a back kick, but Eddie moves out of the way so RyBack gets caught. Clay has to get out of the ring and Eddie makes the Tag to Mysterio. RyBack fell on the middle rope, 619! Winner(s): Revolution & Rey Mysterio
Borash: Ladies and gentlemen, the board of directors took 2 years debating this project, which was meant to be a celebration of WWX's 10th anniversary, but will instead now honor us for 12 years on the air. The night before Slamboree we will hold the first ever WWX Hall of Fame induction ceremony. This year we will induct 1 person into the hallowed hall, we will not tell you when we will be revealing that individual, but it should come as absolutely no surprise to any of you, especially not the man himself.

No votes. Simulated results incoming.
Jeremy Borash and Corey Graves welcome us starting on the pre-show to the Road to SlamStock, which runs through this weekend's Vendetta. We're informed that for the first time the 6-Man tag team champions will collide with the Universal Champion in the main event.
We immediately cut to the back. Doug Basham is giving Psicosis flak for trying to take the Internet Championship from Sonjay Dutt just nights before they're supposed to get a tag team title shot. They exchange words as the animosity between the two teammates starts to heat up. Basham warns Psicosis that he won't be coming out there to interfere in the match, but he will be there to support his partner.
Graves: "Doug Basham seems to be under the impression that they will be competing for the tag titles this Sunday, but no such match has been announced. These two have been the most mind-blowing tag team anyone has come across in recent memory, Doug has pinned "The Big Red Machine" Kane live on the air. Whether they get a tag title shot this Sunday or not I have trouble believing they won't get one soon, but, even still, Psicosis is getting a singles title shot right now. Dutt is a member of the Revolution stable that has owned this show since its inception." We see a video recap of the formation of Revolution, their success, and members Batista and Triple H being drafted to Xtreme together. Then Psicosis' theme hits and we are about to get this title match started.
Match 1: The bell dings. Dutt and Psicosis lock up aggressively. Psicosis pushes him back against the ropes. Dutt shoulder blocks him and pushes him away further. Psicosis runs at him and Dutt catches him with a drop toe hold. Dutt picks him up and slams his head against the turnbuckle. Dutt gives him a few rights and lefts before Psicosis picks him up and slams him down to the mat. Psicosis picks him up off the mat and connects with a delayed military press slam. Psicosis covers and gets a near fall. Psicosis stays on him with a running elbow drop and gets another 2 count. Psicosis picks him up, irish whip into the ropes, and hits a huge drop kick to the face. Psicosis picks him up again and gives him a scoop slam. Jay Lethal comes out to talk to Dutt, who has rolled out of the ring. Psciosis comes out after him, rolls him up back into the ring, and sets in an abdominal stretch. Dutt fights him off with back elbows and tries to irish whip him, but Psicosis holds still. Dutt runs at him, but Psicosis gives him a snap slam. Psicosis gets on him and starts hammering away at his head. Piscosis picks him up again and gives him a hard irish whip into the opposite turnbuckle. Psicosis locks him into a neck lock. Psicosis lets him out of it and instead uses a single leg Boston crab. Dutt is able to flip over and kick him off. Dutt goes for a tornado DDT off the ropes, but Psicosis counters with a samoan drop. Psicosis goes for a leg drop, but Dutt moves out of the way and hits him with a whiplash snapping his head back. Dutt attempts to take control by stomping on each of his limbs. Psicosis clotheslines Dutt over the top rope and down to the floor to buy himself some time. Dutt runs back in and Psicosis tries to hit him with a snap suplex, but Dutt's ready and counters into two knees to the face. Dutt to the top rope, backflip, and stomps both feet into his chest. Winner and STILL WWX Internet Champion: Sonjay Dutt

This week's WWX on FOX program kicks off with a recap video of action that took place at this past Sunday night's WWX Vendetta 2021 pay-per-view between Lance Cade and Rey Mysterio in the Universal Title match, including Kane's shocking involvement at the end of the bout. We see a shot of the Slamfest sign hanging in the rafters as we hear Corey Graves: "'The Platform' is just two weeks away. Of course, the platform refers to the stage that everyone is striving for, everyone wants that one chance to show what they have to offer." From there, the camera pans around the ThunderDome inside of Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, FL., as Graves welcomes us to the show.
Rey Mysterio's theme hits and the former WWF Champion, holding a steel chair, makes his way down to the ring as fans fill the ThunderDome with "619!" chants. His music fades down, the "619!" chants do too. Mysterio: "Everyone saw the truth and the reality of something Lance Cade claimed would never happen. Everyone saw Cade's shoulders on the mat for 3 seconds. The fans cheer. Cade vowed I could never pin him, he claimed he would die first. Good news, I pinned him but the pin did not count. In a perfect world, normally that would mean I would be standing in the ring as the Universal Champion and heading to SlamFest. Neither of those things are true because as I was pinning Lance Cade, Kane attacked The Great Khali with a steel chair, just like the one I am holding right now. Kane said that I should let fans see the dream match they want between himself and Cade. I am not stepping aside. I am done being pushed around like this. I will wait patiently until I can get another Universal Title Match, but until then Lance Cade will have to put up with me every step of the way. Not only that, but I demand a match with Kane...tonight. The fans break out in "619!" chants as Rey pauses to soak them in. I am not leaving this ring until I get my match." Rey unfolds the chair he was holding and sits down on it. A few minutes pass, Mysterio is still waiting for a response about his match, and he makes that point clear one more time before taking his seat and waiting once again.
Finally, Ted DiBiase, Jr. emerges. DiBiase: "I don't want to book this match Rey." Mysterio: "Why not? If you did not see what he did this past Sunday I can have the guys in the truck show it again." DiBiase: "It's irrelevant, because as we all know, a referee's decision is final. You will not be involved in the next Universal Championship Match, and fighting Kane tonight will not change that."
Mysterio: "It can. All you have to do is say that if I defeat Kane tonight, then I go to SlamFest and get my rematch with Lance Cade." DiBiase: "I don't see how that's fair, seeing as you have already had your chance at the man." Mysterio: "But, it's fair to make me go through a Steel Cage and still let Lance Cade have The Great Khali at ringside? This is the first SlamFest in WWX history, I say let's do it right and make it a two night event. If I have to I'll earn my way to Day 1 and earn my title match on Day 2. Day 1 you can make me compete in any match you choose, but if I win, then I get my match with Cade Day 2. I think that is a well thought out plan. The crowd chants "619!" clearly agreeing with his proposal. DiBiase appears to be giving it serious thought.
Before DiBiase can give his reply, Kane's music hits and the pyro goes off. Out comes "The Big Red Machine" he slaps the microphone out of DiBiase's hand and stomps down to the ring. Kane confronts Mysterio.
Kane: "You talk about your last match with Cade as if you definitely had him beat. Every time you had him pinned Khali would have been there to stop it. You want to talk about your Steel Cage match, but all that matters is what you're doing lately. What is happening is that I am going to destroy you tonight and pick the bones that you left of Cade. I am a true challenger, a true championship caliber athlete. You don't even deserve to compete at SlamFest. Mysterio is furious. Mysterio tackles him and it looks like this match is about to begin. Kane flips him over and punches him in the head. Kane grabs the chair Mysterio brought with him and brings it right down on his leg. Kane exits the ring and stares Mysterio down as he waits for Mysterio to get back to his feet so that the referee will ring the bell.
Borash: "This is unbelievable. Mysterio must now fight Kane, still, after everything that just transpired?!" Graves: "Kane is right. He's a competitor, he knows that if he wants the next shot at Cade he can take it, and, if I'm not mistaken, he can take it tonight."
We turn backstage now where we see Revolution sitting and watching the show from their locker room with their belts over their shoulders. Chavo: "Do you guys think we need a manager?" Eddie: "We have Sonjay." Chavo: "Eddie. He's a champion now, he can't just escort us to the ring for every match." Eddie: "Just as well, ese, we do fine on our own. I think that makes him one of us now, though."
Match 1: Back to ringside as Kane has gotten back in the ring, since the referee has signaled that he's ready to ring the bell. The bell dings. Borash: "Let's fill them in a bit more. This past Sunday, Kane went out to ringside and began attacking Khali. This distracted the referee while Mysterio was about to win the title. Mysterio got up to see what the referee was doing, and that momentary distraction gave Cade what he needed. Mysterio turned back around and got flattened with a fireman's carry dropped right onto Cade's knee and the champion retained. Mysterio blames Kane for the loss because it's clear Kane was not out there to help Mysterio in anyway and requested this match at the top of the show."
The match kicks off with Mysterio punching away at Kane in the corner after he ran at him and straddled him into the corner. Mysterio gives him a hurricanrana sending him back out to the floor as he collapses off his leg from what appeared to be an adrenaline rush. Kane slides back in the ring and puts him down with a clothesline. Kane's turn to drive him into the corner as he delivers lefts and rights and then a big elbow to the face. Then he delivers a huge boot to the face, and Mysterio just crumbles to the mat.
Graves: "The fans have let Kane know just how they feel about his actions of late, look at that sign that says 'Big Fat Meanie', I think that's a Spongebob reference JB."
Kane delivers a back body drop to Mysterio, then hooks his bad leg, but Mysterio is still showing signs of life with the shoulder up at 2. Mysterio tries a kick, but is caught by Kane, and he hits an enziguri, but that only momentarily stuns him. Kane goes to pick him up, but Mysterio gets him with a small package for a nearfall. Mysterio waits for him to get back up and charges, but Kane gets him with an inverted DDT. Kane starts pumbling away at the prone Mysterio, until Mysterio catches a fist and traps him with a Fujiwara armbar. Kane is able to lift him up and powerbomb himself free. Kane waits, scouts him, and delivers a chokeslam to hell! Winner: "The Big Red Machine" Kane
After his victory, Kane decides he hasn't done enough and while his music plays, he continues to attack Rey Mysterio.

(No votes. - Logo and formatting provided by dcw1.) The show kicks off with a recap of the main event of SlamFest being changed to a triple-threat match when RhYno became the 3rd WWX Champion in history. Followed by a recap of Kane's utter annihilation of Rey Mysterio last week both inside and outside the ring. From there, the regular intro to the show gets us started and we go inside the ThunderDome where Jeremy Borash and Corey Graves welcome us to the show and inform us that we are just one day away from SlamFest!
Now we hear the familiar sounds of "The Big Red Machine's" theme song as the legend Kane makes his way down to the ring. He grabs a mic and his music cuts off. Kane: "What happened last week needed to happen. Rey Mysterio getting title shots before me is an insult . My brother has been a step ahead of me ever since we both debuted. Now he holds a title, and I don't. It's a situation that needs to be corrected. Maybe I fooled myself into thinking my brother and I would always be equal, and I wouldn't suffer in his shadow any longer. But, I've been so focused on my brother and beating him that I've given no thought to how easily I could take the Universal Title from Lance Cade. I made an example out of Mysterio last week. Mysterio has had all of the opportunities handed to him. All of his friends are champions and he gets anything he asks for from the boss. While I go it alone, well now it's finally time for me to blaze my path all the way to the main event of SlamFest. I had a lot of time to plan this and I am finally ready to put it into action. I feel like the man who strikes fear wherever he goes again. I feel like I can back up that fear too. Everyone already celebrates a win over me, but imagine how much more of a target I will have when I'm champion. Imagine setting a fire and having everyone wanting to walk into it. I am the all consuming fire. It felt good to be standing tall last week, but some have said it does not look good for me to pick on somebody so puny. I was this close to trying to put Mysterio on the shelf last week when I heard Borash call it cowardly. Mysterio was lucky then, but if he comes back for more I will show everyone just what I'm capable of, and nobody will be able to call it cowardly then." He drops and the mic and walks off. Backstage, Edge is approached by Tom Philips. Philips: "Kane what are your thoughts on the big tag team match scheduled for tonight's main event? Is it a chance for either you or the champion to hurt the other one going in to tomorrow's matchup?" Kane: "Cade has no chance of hurting me before our match, but he might want to avoid being in the ring as much as possible in tonight's match. I will not hesitate to take every advantage I can, and I will do to him what I did to Mysterio last week." Kane leaves. Psicosis' theme hits first, and he comes out with a mic in his hand. Psicosis: "When my team wins tonight, I will be headed to SlamFest and I will walk away as 1/3 of the new 6-Man Tag Team Champions. My teammates tonight might not have been able to get the job done in the past, but under my leadership they will be more than enough to take me to WWX's 1st anniversary show." Los Guerreros' separate them plays, and out they come. Eddie: "We have beaten down almost everyone on this roster, including everyone on your team. Making short work of you will be practice for us." Doug Basham's theme plays next, and he's out next. Doug: "Ever since I was separated from my brother in the draft it's been difficult to find something that works for me. So forgive me for not being able to capture gold with somebody else, but don't forget, I specialize in tag team wrestling." Internet Champion Sonjay Dutt is out next. Dutt: "I've been running the WWX Network exclusive matches, which is why I've still got my championship and nobody is a threat to me. Tonight, I rejoin my best friends and I will make sure they have SlamFest off as well." All 8 men are finally in the ring and we are ready to kick this thing off.Revolution (Los Guerreros, Sonjay Dutt, & Jay Lethal) vs. Psicosis, Doug Basham, & The MotorCity Machine Guns The bell dings. Chavo and Chris Sabin kick things off for their respective teams. We see them punch back-and-forth early on and within seconds, Sabin clotheslines him out to the floor allowing his team to set up a huge spot because Chavo's team went to rally around him. Psicosis flips over the ropes, Basham dives out, and The Guns both jump off the turnbuckles as a mass of bodies litters the outside of the ring. Back in the ring and Sabin is firing away kicks at Chavo's midsection, as he maintains the advantage he connects with a shining wizard. Chavo rolls over and Tags into Jay Lethal. Lethal hops in and lays haymakers on work on one-half of The Guns. Graves: "Lethal is often overlooked by many when considering this team, but he has brought them many victories and tonight appears to be no exception." Dutt Tags in. Dutt delivers a headbutt to Sabin, picking up where Lethal left off. Dutt Tags in Eddie. Eddie hits the three amigos, then Eddie Tags Lethal back in. Lethal comes back in and grounds Sabin with a side headlock. Graves: "Lethal looks to be firmly in the driver's seat for his team, this is his match to lose." However, Sabin fires up and fights his way back into competitive form with elbows to the midsection before Sabin makes the desperation Tag to Psicosis. Psicosis takes the hot tag and comes in cleaning house, taking out any-and-everything that moves with a neckbreaker to Lethal and clotheslines everyone off the apron. He hits a standing moonsault for a near fall that is broken up by Dutt. This brings in everyone else now, as Chavo and Doug brawl from the ring to the floor, as do Shelley and Eddie. Back in the ring, Lethal nearly pulls off the win with a roll-up attempt on Psicosis. Psicosis kicks out at 1. Psicosis heads to the top-rope but comes back down. Lethal makes the Tag to Chavo. Chavo goes for a german suplex on Psicosis, but Psicosis elbows his way out and gives him a hurricanrana. Psicosis heads to the top rope and hits a flying legdrop for the 1-2-3 on Chavo. Winner(s): Psicosis, Doug Basham, & The MotorCity Machine Guns
