Never really was a Big Show guy. This is one feels super strange to me. I think he’s a super valuable guy to have helping out backstage and whatnot, but I don’t have any desire to see him in the ring. I hope his programs/matches are pretty minimal. Couldn't have said it better myself.

Its a good move by AEW,yes Big Show is past is prime but adds a big name to the company and a true living legend. At some point it does become overload in terms of ex WWE guys on the roster but none besides Jericho & Moxley have really been booked as anything more then just guys that help the over all product and don't over shadow the overall roster.Guys like Goldust,Matt Hardy,Arn Anderson,Tully Blanchard,Taz,Jack Roberts...ect have all been brought in in smaller roles putting over the current talent.
Hopefully Big Show is solid on commentary and when he wrestles again is booked as a monster and not a jobber.Need to stack wins under his belt before doing the J-O-B to whomever they are truly high on.
Sting,Jericho,Big Show and Dean Ambrose all add a ton of credibility to the company and are more then worth while signings.

I was really shocked and surprised when I read Paul Wight jumped feds. I started watching wrestling right before he debuted in WWF at St. Valentines Day Massacre. Granted, get treated (more or less) like a joke for 15 years, you would probably want to try something new.
This is huge for AEW. Wonder what his name will be? "Big" Paul Wight. "Big Giant" Paul Wight. "Jumping" Paul Wight.

Finally he can breathe and be booked as a giant in the ring if he steps into it again. The man is a monster and should have always been booked as such. No comedy acts, no drama or crying acts. Just destruction. This he was awesome is the Giant they only signed to WWE they did okay with him in the beginning and then just made him into a nothing but a big joke. The giant was my favorite wrestler back in the day and I was always discussing the way WWE handled him I'm so excited for this hopefully aew turns him back to the monster he was

Good signing, household name from the WCW Nitro/Attitude Era. Paul Wight will do wonders to AEW's roster and credibility into the future. I wonder if he could use The Giant name again?
Next question I ask who's next?

He does well for the same reason his action figures do. Hes a giant. What kid or promoter doesnt want to dona david vs goliath when the size difference is so vast? You gotta. Its practically a rule or cinema. Bid bag guy. Little good guy. Uphill underdog battle.
Besides, most guys in AEW are on the smaller side for competitors anyways so he will be that much bigger to them.

Don't have many thoughts on it. I think he's still has name value,I don't know about household name but has some name value so that will bring eyes to the product that wouldn't see it otherwise so in my book that's a good thing. I'm ok if he wants to get in the ring one or two times in the future just like I said earlier that will bring more eyes on the product(always a good thing) but please don't make me sit through another 5 or 6 face/heel changes. And for all the people that saying he's the biggest name they've bought in imo he's not even close to Sting and Jericho.

TBS will definitely be a value backstage. Hopefully not another legend manager. Is there even a wrestler left that is not accompanied by a legend yet? I really look forward to his commentary. If dine right this could be a second career similar to Taz. I was excited when NXT got Bennet as commentary and wondered if AEW was interested. TBS might have gotten that spot. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him return to WWE in 3-5 years as a Raw/SD commentary.

This is hilarious. Hopefully Kane next! Jacobs has something called loyalty. I can't wait to hear Wight's promo about how he's been imprisoned for the last 20 years...
