Andre proto released. Not bad, but it’s safe to say the Zombie man only releases updates when Chella drops updates. It looks really good, face sculpt is MUCH better than the drawing that's for sure. I think he's done the right thing by doing him in the Blue singlet for final release. And yeah, it's kind of a running joke now that when Chella announce something Zombies in an hour later with something. Yea it is laughable but it’s his information to release it’s a little childish in my opinion. He has confirmed this won’t be open to the UK. So I guess the sales overall did not work out great or worth dealing with UK for series two. I am not in on the Zombie line as it was between him and Chella and I prefer Chellas product but I would say any UK guys who got series’s one are going to end up paying to complete this line. |

I think this is the best face sculpt for any Andre figure ever. Mattel has done ok at times…Jakks had one that seemed kinda close. Super7 and others have failed. This however looks really good. The paint application will be the final hurdle. We saw how that can make or break a figure with the way Jeff Jarret came out. Don't understand why they ain't shipping Series 2 to the UK. I get the "sales didn't go as planned", but the guy can charge an exact shipping cost and he's still making the same from us guys in the UK compared to those in the States. It's a bad decision to alienate countries from his line, because there's a helluva lot of collectors outside America.

Just a thought on this. MWFPOD posted the pic with the following
“Series 1 and double J are currently in development at factory”
“Series 2 pre orders will be available once all series 1 pre orders have been fulfilled.”
That’s interesting terminology - “in development” not “in production”.
On 8/12 in a tweet Zombie said Bundy (who I believe is also series 2) “…will be available in mid 2022 after we stock series 1”
However on 17/11 he said of Bundy “will be available in Q1 for PO”
So what changed in the 30 days to take Bundy from Q1 (Jan - Mar) to “mid 2022” (presumably around jun - the end of Q2)?
Was it the signing of Andre and rushing to get him in the set? Or is it that they’re still “in development”?
Development and production are 2 very different thing, it’s not being picky or semantics they have totally different definitions. So potentially that tweet should’ve been better worded. Or are they still in the development stage?

Zombie is overly reactive. He's basically hoarding sketches and images waiting for chella to post something to try and steal away the focus because heaven forbid we didnt talk about him for a day. I think that takes away from hype for both companies. Kinda petty.

I dislike Zombie a lot -- but thought some of the sculpts were pretty good.
I think Andre is HORRIBLE as a Hasbro-style figure, but amazing as a mini-statue. Comes down to what you want -- for me, Retros only.

Zombie just confirmed that UK shipping will indeed be available and he was just joking around. Well, yes... at least I got a good laugh.
Summed up I am happy that I can still order the product.
Let’s just hope the figures will be better than his jokes.
