I have the original WCT classic ring but it's starting to show its age a little. This is right up my alley. The detail on the ring like the wooden slats and metal beams set it apart from the old ring.
Ultimately it'll come down to price. If it's not super expensive I think I'll bite, but I wonder if there will be any stretch goals like what Hasbro did for their Marvel Legends crowdfunding expenditures. The Raw letter stage would be neat as a bonus.

Thereβs just too much WW version of the WWF logo for me to get into this. Probably woulda backed a Monday Night Raw set with the RAW letters entrance but not this.

Ooof. I've always wanted that entrance, but I just don't dig the giant wwe logo on the top. And Diesels headsculpts are always trash. How come they can make good Nash heads but drop the ball with Diesel every time? I don't like the stoic head much. I think the open-mouth one looks pretty good though.

This set is absolutely spectacular.
HOLY HELL!
I cannot believe it. WWE x Mattel Creations will be a VERY**** expensive crossover for us all.
I bet this is $250-$300 range, comparing it to some of the prices of Hasbro Pulse sets. Its a totally guess, though.

I will probably get this if cost isn't too high. I don't mind being more selective with my purchases to achieve getting this.
If this was a Raw is War, Smackdown Fist, or Nitro set no one would be complaining about the inclusion of a ring to get the stage.
This set isn't meant for all collectors. It's meant for collectors who own air fryers, peasants π

As per Steve's Instagram:
"All this is just tier 1 which will be delivered with 5 thousand backers for just $250. We have even more tiers to announce during Fridayβs Elite Squad panel that will unlock additional bonus items thatβll really excite you."

So it's Mattel's version of Haslab essentially?

Maybe different skirts will be in other tiers. If so, then I can maybe back that.

$250 when I only really care about Diesel means it's not just a no, it's an Oh Hell No for me π

it's very cool but an easy pass for me since i have absolutely no need for the ring or stage. i'd love an ultimate diesel but this one ain't it anyways. very barebones deco and the heads aren't that great. hopefully they don't pull the old goldberg/jinder/main event ring scheme and hold off on another ultimate diesel for 5 years since this one will fairly limited.

So it's Mattel's version of Haslab essentially? Yeah or Kickstarter or Indiegogo or any other crowdfunding project site. They set a goal, people pledge, if they get enough pledges to hit their goal then it moves forward, if they donβt then it dies.
