Mattel Creations WWE Item on the way

Yes the news on the 12th was Slaughter. Then there’s something on the 19th.

An online avenue for the line makes a lot of sense, and it could well be that that will be announced, but after Axxess then Ringside posted on Instagram that they would be stocking the new Retros on their post about the reveals - this might’ve been a mistake maybe, but they didn’t post this on every one of their posts about the reveals from that event (the Masters line for example didn’t have that line).

My assumption would be that if Ringside are going to carry the line then no other online retailer will have it as an exclusive, by definition. I think if the line were planned to be a Mattel Creations line then Mattel would want that to be the only place you could get it (in the US at least; they’ll know the strength of feeling in the UK and EU for the line so maybe one of their partners there would also carry it).

That's awesome. Not sure if it's something I'd invest in personally just because of space and what I collect, but still awesome. A good litmus test for crowdfunding in the WWE line as well.

Price point is going to be the deciding factor for me.  I already have the WCT ring and a ton of skirts, ropes, etc.  And even that ring is just sitting in a closet.  I'm also good on Diesel figures.  I LOVE the entrance stage, but if the price tag comes out at $2-300, I don't love it that much.

Ooof. I've always wanted that entrance, but I just don't dig the giant wwe logo on the top. And Diesels headsculpts are always trash. How come they can make good Nash heads but drop the ball with Diesel every time?

I think it might be a mis-step to force people to buy another ring to get the entrance way. This could potentially doom the initial offering if this is going to come out $150+. I'm personally not going to pay that much to have a huge ring most likely sit in my closet. I really think they should have offered the entrance way by itself. Seems to me they got too greedy on this one.

With that said, the exposed wood boards under the mat and the added metal structure on the ring is a very nice touch and looks really cool.

I'm going back and forth. According to the .com gallery they need to hit 5,000 backers initially and I think this will unless it's just absurdly exhorbinantly priced.

Hopefully this gets backed with all the possible add ons. I’ll be backing day 1. I’m curious to see what the add ons could be. A blue cage would be great!
