I think the problem with the undertaker is more the lower torso and waist being too small/skinny rather that the top being big

When did Taker start wearing mma gloves? Not 1998? Good talk. I'm okay with the gloves on Taker. They're not 100% accurate, but his 89 gloves definitely had padding in them that makes these look close enough for me. Least of my issues with the figure.  Yeah I mean it’s definitely not as offensive as those heads or the torso, but it’s a mistake they keep repeating for absolutely no reason. I mostly just wanted to pile on. We’ve waited years for this figure and it kind of sucks. |

These are outstanding. I can’t wait to get both. Kane is a HUGE upgrade on any Kane we’ve seen before which is what I’ve been desperate for.
Yeh head on the taker in the pics looks like Michael Jackson before he died but luckily the other two save it. Would also say Taker looks weird without the coat. The UE body looks strange with him, top of his torso looks disproportionate to the waist…which doesn’t seem the same with other UEs?? Seems strange to me?
However with the coat on and the other heads, Taker looks awesome

Taker is going to stay MOC because the torso looks strange. Glad Mattel finally did 98' Taker though.

Taker heads piss me off, there’s so many Taker figures and maybe one or two ‘OK’ heads.
Feels like Mattel are lazy with him. It’s old man Taker scans fudged into a 20 year ago look. It’s not him from 20 years ago, it’s his scan from the boneyard match with added paint. Poor.

Kane looks great. Taker looks good but the head sculpts are not that great. Looks like they repurposed the ghostbuster head on one of them. They should have used the head sculpt from the Bret/Taker 2-pack, the one with the teardrop tattoo under the eye.I'd like to think that's intentional which is a smart business move. |

The more I study on these, Kane is the coolest wrestling toy I’ve ever seen. That’s impeccable.
Shiny, non laced boots. Molded wrist strap and molded
Belt. Jacked. Hair thrown back look.
And they finally hit the mark on a quality full mask.
Absolutely incredible.

He didn't even stick his tongue out until the Ministry days...Don't know what Mattel were thinking here. |

That Kane is the best one they've ever done (and perhaps the best Kane ever) and that Taker is quite possibly the worst.

Kane could really use some stubble/facial hair on his chin/neck. I don't recall him ever being clean-shaven back then.

I will pickup both Kane and Undertaker but I'm not happy about the Undertaker. Let's start off with the upper torso which looks way too oversized/wide, inaccurate gloves, and all 3 headscans look bad. I also noticed that one of the headscans has his tongue out which again is inaccurate from this time period. So in closing like many of you who have been waiting for Mattel to produce a 1997, 1998 Undertaker this is one big let down in my opinion..😑
