Backed it and trying to stay positive. I really hope we figure out a way to 7k. Need Doink with this set.

Not sure if this will get made, I hope it does. I wonder if the biggest surge will be at the very end of the timeframe, I'm wondering if people don't want $250 pulled from their account for a month if the thing doesn't get made. They may be more likely to back it with a week to go, hoping that it will get made. But if it doesn't, then the $250 is only out of their account for a very short time. Oddly enough, the thing I want most out of the entire package is the Ultimate Edition Doink - never thought that would ever be the case. That figure turned out really great, I hope if this doesn't get backed/made or make it to 7,000 backers, that they find a way to release that figure.

I’m a bit pessimistic right now. I would really like this to reach the Doink tier, but I just don’t know right now. As for paying upfront it really doesn’t bother me personally. I usually prefer to have preorder stuff paid off when I order.

I’d like for it to reach the goal but I can’t help. I was already done with wrestling in this era. If they were offering a ring set up from the 80’s with King Harley Race, a throne and Lord Littlebrook, yeah, I’m your guy.

No, it's too expensive for most collectors and one of the least popular eras in WWF/E history. Are there any other cases of failed action figure crowd funding projects? Yeah plus I feel Diesel and Doink aren’t big enough to get buys. I feel like seeing how nostalgic a lot of people are for the era and how we never get any elites from that era. A 02/03 Raw or SD with a Flashback Jeff/RVD/HBK or Rey would’ve been a great start. As someone who grew on that era and loves those stages and hates the current one. For a decent price seeing my money looking funny rn I would easily cop. I don’t collect flashbacks but were people clamoring for a New Gen Stage or Diesel or Doink UE? And even with the insane details $250 is a steep price. The Smackdown fist set that would be an instant buy for me! Part of the reason why I am leaning toward backing this would be to help guarantee future sets from more popular eras.

Big fear right now is it makes 5k but falls short of 7k. Kinda feel like they should have had a 6k incentive then a 7 and 8

To be honest I want stages but I don’t want another ring. Not sure where I stand in regards to majority/minority on that, but that’s my stance.

I'm not familiar with crowd funding but I think its safe to say this is off to a bad start. If this fails I guess this whole Mattel creation website is a bust and we won't get cool items like this.

Also if they included those cardboard crowds used in the video I’d be more keen and it wouldn’t cost them much to do so.

I hope it does but whether I back it or not I’m just getting it for the stage thing and the chance to fund the next project which I don’t know if I’ll even want… It’s too much. I’ll need to hear wcw stage is next or else I’m not a partner.

I hope it gets the backers. I've backed it x4 but not confident at all it will even get 3k.

I think it will in the end. It's still fairly early on in the campaign's lifespan, kind of unfair to start saying it'll bust because it wasn't a breakout hit right out of the gate. I know some folks here love the pessimism but give it a little time before calling it dead in the water.
Do I think some of the decisions made were a little odd? Sure, not many crowdfunding campaigns charge upfront, at least the ones I've personally kept my finger on the pulse of like the Sentinel or Spawn KS. I know people who pledged the latter for the sole purpose of reselling, but the difference there was a variety of looks and package deals as well as a set dollar amount that needed to be reached, not a number of units but I digress.
Worst thing that can happen, I get my money back because it wasn't funded, best case scenario, we get to the 8k tier and get Doink and the extra ring skirts included which would, for my money, justify the costs. If nothing else it's a low-risk investment, knowing it'll appreciate in value overtime being essentially made to order, you could piecemeal out anything you wanted to sell later on and recoup some of the cost, like if you don't want Diesel or the ring, you could easily make that money back from someone who missed out.
Long story short, I wouldn't count anything out just yet. I legitimately think it'll be a slow but steady process but it's too early to tell.

Hope it does. I’m not a fan of the new gen era, but it looks cool and it would open the doors for new stuff that we possibly want.

The reason I'm passing on this one -- even though I was a WWF fan from beginning to end of this era -- is that I only want the entrance and I'm not gonna pay $250 for it. I already have three full scale rings, and I don't need another Diesel or Doink.
I hate bundle sales like this. I guess they thought bundling would increase appeal? It reduced it for me.

I can’t see it getting backed at the pace it’s going currently and I don’t think people will check it out on the last day and throw $250 into a project that looks like it won’t get backed with hours to go. Like, who’s donating $250 to get hung up in limbo for 2 weeks only to be refunded? I don’t think it’ll happen
If it’s under 75% backed on the last day, I can’t imagine who would be the first to throw money into the abyss. I think everyone will go check it out and say meh, it’s not getting funded…and call it a day

My point is the new gen raws took place in smaller venues so that setup would be cool.

the more people say "no" and complain about it, the higher the chance of it not succeeding because negativity is contagious.
as a community we SHOULD be supporting this and not trashing it at every turn. its ok to bring up some fair points about what we think they could or should have done. but in the end nothing is going to change it, whats done is done. so if we ever want to see anything else like this again we should be forking over the cash for this.
in the end, its a pretty cool stage piece, an amazing looking ring, and a decent figure. $250 isnt THAT unreasonable for it. haslab is selling people just a giant action figure with lights n crapfor WAY more

It would make it to 20K if it was a 2000's SmackDown ring with a real scale SmackDown fist stage
