Violence in wrestling > Comedy in wrestling. The match was supposed to be a blood bath. Mission accomplished. It'll be funny to see how many AEW fans that hate Jim Cornette and the air he breathes suddenly agree with him. Nobody cares about him except his mindless sheep followers |

Fun main event. Slow paced to start, but it wasn't the full boar deathmatch Gage is used to. He let pain sink in. Nice play. The pops for the light tubes will always rule. MDK all day!

It'll be funny to see how many AEW fans that hate Jim Cornette and the air he breathes suddenly agree with him. It’s perfectly done because it’s a violent match by design. It’s really no different than a steel cage or hell in a cell, except this is a death match. Cornette will act like this set the business back or it’s somehow degrading. It’s diverse that’s what it is, it gives you something else on a show of wrestling and it’s also part of a storyline. It has context. Mud show is what Gage does normally haha, every match is that with no context. Having him come into AEW and do a death match though is a specialty match of his, it’s great storytelling and execution. That was a great match and the dude couldn’t wrestle better than I could. The stakes were there and that’s all wrestling needs. |

ladies, please. just because the show ended doesn't mean act up now and get the thread locked immediately. And you'll "calm things down" by calling them ladies. Don't thrown stones............... Y'know, why don't we ever see stones in a death match. The whole saying is sticks and stones may break my bones... Isn't that the idea? Someday someone needs to start bringing literal rocks into these hardcore bouts. |

That was an awesome show. There were a few things I would have changed, but damn. I can't believe how fast Dynamite goes by. It's only 2 hours, but I'm almost always left wanting more. There were SO MANY names that weren't even on the show. August 20 Dynamite is going to the most watched night of wrestling in years. It's going to beat Raw and SmackDown.

That was an awesome show. There were a few things I would have changed, but damn. I can't believe how fast Dynamite goes by. It's only 2 hours, but I'm almost always left wanting more. There were SO MANY names that weren't even on the show. August 20 Dynamite is going to the most watched night of wrestling in years. It's going to beat Raw and SmackDown. It’s inevitable. This is how wrestling felt back in the day. It went by so fast and I looked forward to Monday Nights. I’m looking forward to Wednesday nights |

I was expecting one of them to go through a table with light tubes on it. I'm not heartbroken though. MJF is trying to destroy Chris Jericho. A match with Nick Gage is going to achieve that. Following through with a story down to the bloody details is a good thing. |

Just roll up to the ring with a wheelbarrow full of rocks and start whipping them at your opponent. Maybe bring a catapult out on stage and start launching boulders. It actually makes sense. You can pick up weapons and hit your opponent with them. Run people over with cars. Tasers. Handcuffs. You'd think projectile weapons would have made their way into pro wrestling by now. |

I loved the opening ten man tag and I'm not sure if it was the plan all along or if they just called an audible because of recent signings ("supposedly") but I loved that Hangman and the Dark Order lost. It's not time for Omega's run to end and I prefer if they just keep putting off a match with Hangman until they're ready to have him win the belt.
Also I gotta give mad props to Jericho for that match. He's a gamer.

I was not expecting Darby to be Punk's first challenger out of the gate but im excited if he is. I know its probably not gonna happen and maybe shouldn't happen but I would love to see Darby win the "First Dance" and make himself even a bigger star then he already is.
