If flair wants the money he may just show up as most likely he needs the money. He didn't

A little lost on why anyone would care what Ric does in 2021
Unless worry that Mattel might lose access to him.

Violence in wrestling > Comedy in wrestling. The match was supposed to be a blood bath. Mission accomplished. It'll be funny to see how many AEW fans that hate Jim Cornette and the air he breathes suddenly agree with him. Nobody cares about him except his mindless sheep followers Right. Thats why all these AEW wrestlers get pissy about him. They, and alot of AEW fans, care about what Cornette thinks to alarming levels. If hes as irrelevant as some would want you to think, his opinions wouldnt get the traction that they do, Good or bad.

Whether your takes have merit or not is pretty much irrelevant nowadays. It's the attention you can draw and the money you can generate. All concerns shouldn't be cast as dryly as "Aw, someone doesn't like our show. They're full of crap". It isn't really about what the harshest critics are saying specifically, but the amount of negativity that can encapsulate a company still finding its feet. If you are trying to grow and expand, it can be a problem if people never give it a chance, if their opinions are formed merely from the loudest statements the detractors say. Not saying hurt feelings have nothing to do with the backlash, or that everyone is just hating to hate. Some genuinely dislike the style, some genuinely are seeking a different presentation, and that's fine. But casting EVERYONE as being wholly on one side or another isn't helping anyone or anything. The clowns that are putting on shows are obvious to spot, so don't do a disservice and lump everyone in with the worst actors.

Third straight week of over a million, 1.108 million and another week of a better demo number. They are hitting their stride. Curious to see how they work Page back into the title picture.

Miro's promo was awesome and to the point, he should be world champion. To be fair, they've done a pretty damn good job of elevating that TNT title to the point where it doesn't feel like a secondary or mid-card title. Omega feels like 1a and Miro 1b rather than a true 1 & 2. To me, at least.

When it comes to his wrestling takes, I do ignore him. I can't tell you one thing he's actually said about AEW's wrestling in ages, unless someone else has mentioned it. I don't listen to his podcast, I don't watch his youtube videos, I don't read things about his takes on purpose. It's very easy to ignore. I couldn't care less what he thinks of AEW or modern wrestling in general at this point. (The 80's and prior are another story, could listen to him talk about that stuff for hours). When it comes to sexism/homophobia, etc, no. You don't ignore that stuff. With regards to that stuff, yes, I care what he has to say, because I don't stand idly by and tolerate sexism/homophobia/racism/etc.

I think Page needs to go solo again. Not turn on the DO, but just tell them he needs to do this on his own. Then he can focus on the Elite one by one. The whole story is the Elite kicking him out as they felt he was inferior to them, and Hangman couldn’t accept that. Now that time has past and he’s built confidence, have him take them down one at a time. Start with Nick Jackson, then Matt Jackson, and finally a showdown with Omega where he takes the belt before the end of the year.

I enjoy watching AEW with the real wrestling not that Nick Gage death match bullshit. I hope that Tony Khan doesn't book him ever again cause he is a garbage wrestler.

This must have been the first time those crybabies at Dominoes watched the show. If they were going to take offense to something you'd think it would have been when Rosa and Britt were covered in blood and rolling around in thumbtacks. Not a peep though. Now it's too violent? I hope Tony tells Dominoes to go f*ck themselves. With the numbers AEW has been putting up and will continue to put up, it's dominoes loss. Pizza Hut sounds damn fine to me. pretty sure it’s that it was a pizza cutter and that dominoes sells pizza, not necessarily the violence level

Betting they still didn't watch, they were reacting to social media posts about one of their commercials airing during that match featuring a pizza wheel

pretty sure it’s that it was a pizza cutter and that dominoes sells pizza, not necessarily the violence level They're hypocrites either way. Had Gage used a butcher knife, dominoes would have been cool? Grinding a light tube into Jericho's head was fine, but a pizza cutter crossed the line? Had Jericho pulled a block of cheese out and beat Gage bloody with it would Dominoes have complained? Violence is fine, but pizza related violence is off limits? Jericho should start the show out next week by walking out with a Dominoes Pizza box as a middle finger to them. I see your point but it very well could’ve conflicted with their contract.
