I hate scalpers ... I really really do ... Just enjoy the damn things for what they are and not the value ... is that so hard to do these days ? The people that want to have them for the sake of having them in their collection have to constantly deal with the bull$hit of people worrying about which ones they can flip ... and the ones that are flipping them don’t even care about them, they just want to make it harder for someone else that actually does want it ... it’s pathetic. While I agree that I'm not a fan of people raiding store shelves for rare figures that they can flip for a profit, this set was a double-edged sword. Scalpers were likely a good portion of what helped this thing reach its goal, but on the other side this was something that was available to EVERYONE for the same base price for an extended period. For the most part, if somebody wanted this set they had could have had it. facts, scalpers and resellers are not the same thing necessarily

I’m going to try to give you an actual answer/estimate as I’ve had similar thoughts, while trying to refrain from being condescending like everyone else is being towards your question.
I’m assuming this is gonna sell for a significant amount of money considering this playset is the first of its kind. I can’t imagine how much the entrance stage and the ring alone are going to sell for. I think it’s safe to assume that if one was wanting to sell, or if one was looking to buy, I think the bare minimum would be $500 for the whole set. But I’d imagine since there’s not gonna be many floating around it’s going to be significantly more. A few years from now I can see it going for an insane amount of money, like over $1K. Thats just a guess, but I would be willing to bet if you backed this set and you’re planning to flip, wise investment. But if you’re wanting to buy, man you missed out on a good deal because you’re going to pay out the ass for this.

You can care about what you’re buying, yet know the value of what you bought and willing to part ways for the right price. Say if you were in a real penny pinch and were forced to sell one of these things to pay some bills, would that make you pathetic? For this particular set, people had an ample amount of time to back it. If they have a problem with what the secondary market or as you say scalers sell it, that’s their problem. Why would any smart human being sell this for what they bought it for? I just don’t see the logic here.

I reckon straight off the bat, it'll be something like:
Macho Man: $175-$200 Diesel & Doink: $100-$150 (each)
Given the limited production run and the popularity of the UE line, none will go for under $100...

You could have paid $250 for this set...If you didnt, dont be upset when the one figure you wanted goes for $300+

It would be hilarious to me if they ended up not being worth much since the market will be flooded by all the people who bought them only to later sell them. That probably won’t happen, but it would be funny.

It shocks me that anyone could think an online exclusive Ultimate Edition limited to around 8k is going to sell for $75...

The same as any figure. We don't need threads speculating the price of the SDCC Slaughter or the RSE Cactus Jack. The toy market has been the same since online retail has started.
There will be a flood of these on eBay right away. People will be spending some money on them but they'll be taking a lot of best offers and not giving up a ton of money to own them. I bet we see some Macho Man's go for just around $100 initially.
But, for those who are patient and sit on these for awhile -- there will be a ton more people who missed out on this figure; a ton of people who traded/sold it and regret doing so; people just now getting into figure collecting; whatever else who are willing to spend a bigger chunk for it.
Think about any other Ringside Exclusive. Someone probably put the SES CM Punk right afer it was sold out on Ringside for $80 thinking they made a great profit off a $27 figure. If they waited five years to sell it, they would've made a 10x return on the same figure.
Its a super basic concept, really. Its going to be just like any other figure. People will post them for a big price, the market will be flooded for a bit, sellers will drop the price. The market will slowly dwindle, the buyers market will grow, and and the price will shoot back up.

Pretty sure my post was about people just buying something to make a profit ... it said nothing about if you HAD to sale if something came up, as in that casenit should be pretty much common sense in at least not selling for anything less than what you paid for it. So, that doesn’t even apply here ... this is talking specifically about this funded project. The bottom line is people that buy this stuff to purposely drive up the resale market are losers and need to get a life.

No no, OP was just making a joke but I was making light of the fact that it's pathetic that there are those who would worry about the value of something instead of enjoying the item. Especially because the item hasn't even been released yet.
