I would guess the regular one $75 - $100? and the chase $130 - $150? Mark my words. The Black Card Slaughter will SELL for over $300. If Steve says it is very rare and you would be lucky to get it, then the price will be very high There's some Slaughters (regular card I guess) already listed on Ebay as "order shipped" and they are all between $100 and $130 so you are right lol

8k of each were made.
All 8k will be in the hands of backers within 3 days of eachother.
Thousands of each will be posted on secondary market with 12 hours of that first day.
These 3 figures will be selling for less than retail within the first 2 years.
There is no one who wouldnât back the full project at $250 who is willing to drop $100 on Doink. No one.

This series is still at the very beginning and many new collectors are yet to come. Just because something was available for $250 (+ shipping & tax) doesn't mean someone isn't paying a lot of money for a particular figure they want. Many missed this offer and there are many reasons for that. For example, many just didn't know about it because they tend to be inactive on social media. There are also many new collectors within a year. This series just keeps getting hotter and hotter. A year has passed since Amazon Rock. Take a look at where the figure is now. And this figure is a mass product. Of these, 30,000 - 40,000 were certainly produced. Yes, it is possible that the market is a bit crowded at the beginning, but there are only around 8,000 pieces per figure. That will regulate itself quickly. Also, the ring will likely get very hot if Mattel starts more crowdfunding projects, because they won't produce another Ultimate Edition ring. The hype will break out at the latest when we see final pictures of the figures, ring & stage.

Not everyone has 250 dollars laying around to back a project like this. And you can't tell me that there aren't people out there who would have backed the project were they just a little bit richer.
I can assure you of that. I am one of them.
And, at the end of the day, 150 bucks for a Macho Elite is less than 250 dollars for the whole shebang.
People will pay the money for them. The market will be bloated at first, yes. But people will happily lay down the cash for these parted out figs because it's easier to pay 400-500 dollars spread over multiple paychecks for the figures than it is to pay 250 dollars at once. If it wasn't, there would be no need for payment plans and credit cards.

Lmao, this only goes against every known example of these types of exclusive figures. Hell allegedly the SDCC exclusives were made in larger quantities and even they aren't like this at all.

People who canât afford the $250 should not be spending $150 on Macho. Your payment plan and credit card rationalization is financial suicide.

Buying toys as an adult is already a not great financial decision. You are buying plastic dolls, wrestling figure collectors are just like any other collectable following, there are things that are expensive and people will over spend on them.

This is utter nonsense 1) 8k is already nothing. A ridiculously low number. 2) Thousands of these will go right into collectors hands right off the back and will never see the secondary market. 3) people from all over the world bought into this. Not only does that stretch out the time on when people will list these on the secondary market, it also means these will be harder to get in the UK, say, than the US. 4) Youâre not taking into account resellers who are happy to sit on these for months, years even a decade to get maximum value. These are going to be hasbro mailaway rare in years to come. 5) You canât even get a series of mass released legends on the secondary market for retail, let alone below. Even while theyâre still hitting store shelves. Within 2 years Doink will likely be hitting the 400-500 mark. 6) again youâre totally ignoring that there are: A- People who arenât into collecting yet B- People who were not financially able to back during the month it ran for. C- People who donât want their money tied up in a product they wonât receive for a year. D- People who didnât want the full package and will just buy the bits they do want when theyâre actually out there. I canât even find an Ultimate Bret for less than 100. He was mass released at retail. Doink, Diesel and Macho are going to skyrocket. Look at every other elite of those 3. The most patient are going to be in for some pretty hefty paydays.

MajorPod took credit for a majority of the 8k. They sold it to their fan bois as an investment and not a collectible under the guise of the secondary market value. There will be a collapse. IMO they will be available below retail for the first two years. $400-500 for Doink is utter nonsense. I look forward the the initial auctions next summer where they will go up for $1000 each that first day, every 2 hours that go by there will be a downward spiral until within 3-4 days there will be 2k available at $40 shipped. Get yours up in that first 8-12 hours on a âbuy it nowâ or 1 day auction and you may get some wanker in the uk to bite.

I couldnât care less about secondary market prices, but considering regular release Ultimates seem to be hitting triple digits as soon as theyâre out of stock on RSC/Target/etc., itâs crazy to think these will individually be any less than that once prices settle.

A mass product, a year has passed and the figure has gone through the roof. And because 8,000 pieces are produced, that doesn't mean that 8,000 pieces will also be available on the secondary market. I estimate each figure to be at least $200- $250 within a year. Probably more.

Theyâll be worth more than what we initially invested thatâs all we know for sure. Just look at it like this. Worldwide thereâs what somewhere around 8k made of this set? I canât remember... Out of 8k, remember not everyone got Macho. People will want him just because they missed out and to add him to their collection. Not everyone was aware of this set and we already know Ultimates go for more after a couple of months. Weâre getting more legends as Ultimates so this set will go along great with it. Out of all the sets purchased a great amount will never see the secondary market because theyâll be displayed or opened up. I think itâs a bit absurd to say these will go for $40-50, maybe theyâll bounce around a bit, but not that low. We also have to take into account the future sets for this ring and stage. If thereâs more, than they you get people will want to buy them up. There are figures Iâve preordered that are already going up for double the price and they havenât even released yet.. Itâs just a matter of time. I bought mine specifically for the smaller ring, so Iâll be holding out so I could sell it to get other things I want.

Kinda like going to Target seeing Ultimate Edition HBK or Warrior for $30 and passing on it...and then it being on RSC or Amazon for around the same price, and passing on it....surely nobody would now be paying over $100s of dollars for this figure right? Oh wait...

Ultimate Editions are at retail for all collectors not just investors and scalpers. At any given time there are less than 10 of each on eBay. The ones at retail trickle onto the secondary market.
Doink, Diesel, and Macho were sold to investors and scalpers and few who will actually just open and play/display.
Iâd say 5k-6k out of the 8k were bought with the sole intention of an immediate flip. $40. Iâll gladly concede next summer if need be. But the math and logic are on my side.

So everybody who is saying these will sell for $100 or less, will you sell me yours for $100 or less?
And the fact regular main line ultimates that have already been made and who knows how many were made of those, if theyâre going from anywhere from $100-$350, then why is it hard to believe these that were only 8k made goes for less?
