So everybody who is saying these will sell for $100 or less, will you sell me yours for $100 or less? And the fact regular main line ultimates that have already been made and who knows how many were made of those, if they’re going from anywhere from $100-$350, then why is it hard to believe these that were only 8k made goes for less? I wish one of these generous souls willing to part with ridiculously rare figs at below retail price would hook me up with an ultimate Bret 😂 |

I have an apple tree in my backyard.
It yields 35,000 apples during the spring and I sell them to all the locals who love to eat them for a snack and make pies! I do realize though some people buy my apples (1000 apples tops) to resell at their out of state fruit stand. Those out of states can’t wait to get theirs hands on my apples and will pay a premium at their local fruit stand!
During the summer that same tree yields 8,000 apples mostly purchased by those people who run the out of state fruit stands and a few got to go to the locals for their snack and pies. Those out of state fruit stands are loaded with my apples (5000-6000) and people can drive up and down the road negotiating a lower price now.
$40 first two years.

I seriously doubt any of these figures will be listed at under $100. If any of them actually sell below that it's probably because the seller just wants some quick cash and isn't willing to sit on them.

You're just messing around, right? Serious question. To each their own, but saying you have math and logic on your side while claiming people will be able to buy all three of these on the secondary market for less than $100 pre-tax (retail here in the States is $33 each right now) in a year is a tad unbelievable. Maybe you're trying to speak (type) it into fruition, for whatever reason. I wouldn't begrudge someone that. As someone who doesn't sell but buys on the secondary market, I'm okay with less-than-retail prices for everything. |

Doink, Diesel, and Macho were sold to investors and scalpers and few who will actually just open and play/display. Beyond the strange assumption that only 2000 of these went to collectors, your entire theory falls apart when you realize the market goes well beyond next summer. |

Can't buy a Ric Flair Ultimate from Targets website anymore for under $42. Wait till they start to release pictures of the products and how it will look on the card.

This is utter nonsense 1) 8k is already nothing. A ridiculously low number. 2) Thousands of these will go right into collectors hands right off the back and will never see the secondary market. 3) people from all over the world bought into this. Not only does that stretch out the time on when people will list these on the secondary market, it also means these will be harder to get in the UK, say, than the US. 4) You’re not taking into account resellers who are happy to sit on these for months, years even a decade to get maximum value. These are going to be hasbro mailaway rare in years to come. 5) You can’t even get a series of mass released legends on the secondary market for retail, let alone below. Even while they’re still hitting store shelves. Within 2 years Doink will likely be hitting the 400-500 mark. 6) again you’re totally ignoring that there are: A- People who aren’t into collecting yet B- People who were not financially able to back during the month it ran for. C- People who don’t want their money tied up in a product they won’t receive for a year. D- People who didn’t want the full package and will just buy the bits they do want when they’re actually out there. I can’t even find an Ultimate Bret for less than 100. He was mass released at retail. Doink, Diesel and Macho are going to skyrocket. Look at every other elite of those 3. The most patient are going to be in for some pretty hefty paydays. there will be 2k available at $40 shipped. I want you to stop and think about what you just said. You are suggesting literally 1/4th of all the sets made will be for sale. Pretty unrealistic to think that if you ask. |

Just to point out IVO the hostility in here no one knows what will happen or what they will go for
The secondary market could be flooded and prices not too bad
There could be crazy prices being paid for them
The best we can do is look at the market currently because historically there’s not been a wwe crowdfunder to gage what could happen
However to speak as if you factually know what will happen snd get hostile when people disagree is a little silly
