Huh, must have forgotten. Well thanks for giving me an excuse to watch some old clips. Still a little confused about why Kane's elbow wasn't cast in red, seems like an oversight but nothing that'll ruin an otherwise perfect figure. I'm pretty sure that due to the manufacturing process, both arms have to be cast in the same colour... so it was either have both arms cast in flesh-tone with one painted red - or cast both in red, with one painted flesh tone. Personally, I think they made the right choice... painted flesh tones hardly EVER look good. This was my first thought. For injection moulding of plastics, it’s likely the mould contains the left and rights in the same mould to control cost and given it seems conceivable in nearly all circumstances the two would be the same. It greatly improves production costs. Probably more so with UE given the number of parts required for each joint. I presume that is the difference vs past elites. Mind you it appears the hands are cast differently (can’t confirm til in hand). But it is pretty disappointing and one of the few blemishes on an otherwise excellent figure. This is really the first time in an eternity it’s that mask sculpts look like an actual mask sitting above a human face. |

ztj_wwf_wwf It’s not that it doesn’t look like Taker. It looks like modern Taker with a wig. I honestly think Jakks did a better job with their headscan. I’m hoping I’m wrong, but he just looks too old. plastictaxicab Is this Taker more on the tan side? Any pics next to the network spotlight? You must be blind as a bat, the main head looks like undertaker from that era, the other two sculpts illl give it to you. I’ll rightfully disagree. Mattel has been known to reuse scans from modern Taker to pass off as flashback Taker. Look at the purple gloved undertaker and the American badass, they’re both the same scan used as the Wrestlemania 28 elite. The fact that people were complaining about this scan to begin with should let you know. If you remove the hair on this figure, you’ll see he looks far too old for that era. I still believe Jakks brothers of destruction sculpt looks better, despite having a balloon head. |

Elite 12 Kane had one arm in red and one arm in flesh Hasbro has given us plenty of figures in the Marvel Legends line with two arms casted in different colors. This was a cost cutting measure from Mattel which is ridiculous considering the higher price point for the UE line. |

Undertaker looked old as hell way back when he made his debut.
I don't personally have an issue with it - it's not like the sculpt has wrinkles or liver spots.

This is the “premium” line from WWE and Mattel. With the price we’re l paying for these figures we shouldnt have to customize these ourselves because Mattel was too lazy to get an elbow of all thing correct. If this were a basic, fine, but this is an “ULTIMATE FIGURE.” The elbow of all things should be accurate. Look I'm not disagreeing with this...but I'm just really pointing out how for me personally it doesn't make much of a difference. I've been around hundreds and hundreds of figures and some things are bound to seem like a raw deal or get on nerves. With that said, it's already printed, shipped and released and unless you want to wait for a running change, there are solutions other than being upset. |

I think if theres a running change people might be ok. I personally wonder if ultimates will ever tackle ruthless aggression era like hbk kane randy orton. I know batista is on his way but thats about it. Dx hunter is cool but i would like a reign of terror hhh. I just hope we get more variety in the ultimates.

Kane’s arm is a bummer. Esp at the premium price. But with that being said…this is still the best Kane figure ever!

Just got my order in, and looking on the back of Kane, the crew was well aware of Kanes elbow issue. You can see skin tone on the photo on back of box clearly.
I'm indifferent on it, but I can understand others taking issue with it.

kane is incredible but i'm glad i waited just in case they fix the arm. that's really unacceptable.
taker looks much better in these new photos and videos. proportions still look a little weird in some but overall i think it looks fine and probably a lot better in hand. love the entrance gear. the heads are still just ok but the entrance sculpt with the new true fx does look a lot better than the one from sdcc.

Ok I have a request, for those of you who have UE Kane and taker as Kane RSC can you please put the UE Kane heads on the RSC Kane to see how they look on it please?
Here is the problems I have with this UE kane, big problem for me is 2 things, mask not being fully painted and Kane’s left side from what I seen on the ribs are not painted flesh tone, e12 got it right but UE can’t? Other things that ain’t that big of a deal is no gloss boots, elbow unpainted and I’m not a fan of the belt moving around, nothing a little paint and glue can’t fix but still it’s a inconvenience that I don’t want to do, but seriously if these things were done it would be a PERFECT figure, as is it’s probably my favorite Mattel figure, can’t wait to get it in hand, and one other thing, I was hoping the very top of the neck would have a little flesh showing but maybe that’s asking for too much, I’m really excited about this figure

Omg that sounds incredible That was always my favourite attire, I can just imagine how incredible that would look. Could come with the wwf and wcw tag titles or come with the ic, arm cast and chain, otherwise something with the hardcore title but the hardcore has been done before. They can do different masks for the different heads as well which would be cool. Survivor Series 2000, King of the Ring 2001, the mask he debuted sometime in Summer 2001 that X-Pac stole in '02 etc. The more I think of it, the more it always could've made sense for them to choose that era for an UE. |

Both heads sit a tad high and look small on the RSC Taker as Kane figure. The head with the hair down can be fudged but the head with the hair back looks off. |
