Was the WCW Bret from the two pack from 2021? That was super disappointing. It could of been a home run if it had the correct pink tights and a jacket. Elite 91 Hogan is a disaster. Sheamus torso and 80’s legs, yet we can’t get an accurate torso for an elite. Legends Hall’s head. I get what Mattel was going for, but it was executed poorly imo. UE Taker is great minus the heads. I wish it had a head his full hair covering his face and back and another younger sculpt. The two heads that were included were too old imo. I’ll add in ultimate Hardy for the simple fact that it has a terrible torso as well.

Mattel can knock all these obscure characters out of the park and that is awesome, but they cannot get a Bret Hart right! It's beyond frustrating at this point lol and that new two pack with Undertaker is another bad Bret Hart!

Easily UE Taker.
The body is terrible from the midriff up. The one ‘good’ head is still bad, it only looks good compared to the two old man taker heads. The coat is literally the only good thing about that figure.
My runner up is the Summerslam basic 121 Kane. Never seen a good paint job mask yet. Hair is too long. The weird incorrect wristbands. No transparent parts on the legs. Wrong boots.

As a legends only guy, I can really only judge off those guys. And head scan means everything to me. I’m not particular about arm size or torso size.
So WM Edge, Legends Hall, and SS Bret are the first ones that come to mind. Trish was also terrible.
On the bright side, none were as bad as the Asian girl from AEW. Don’t know her name. Might be worst headscan ever.

I actually like the SS Hogan lol.
Only thing that disappointed me this year is that there wasnt any kind of upgrade to Big John Studd other than the robe. Even something as minor as changing the color of the stars on his tights would've gotten a purchase from me.

I'm really surprised so many people have pointed at Legends Piper. Maybe because I'm in Canada where the sets are skipped and distribution is usually bad, but I was excited to actually see Piper in retail and be able to purchase it, wrong kilt pattern or not.
I'd say Legends Hall. Not only did we not get this set, dispite TRU being able to carry it, but once the bandana is removed the likeness goes completely out the window. And Trish is there too, found the chase only once but couldn't pay for it with that head scan.

i dont own it but E81 dawkins seemed like a formula monstrosity
E86 Triple H was a bit of a letdown for me because its literally the ONLY triple h i want them to just freaking do right but we get non metallic tights, wrong boots and the SAME era triphle h headscan that we've seen.
E86 Sid was also a letdown for me. personally i wanted a Sid, just not a horsemen era wcw sid??? who did???
WM Elite Edge is just a yuck figure. its convenient because the WM Foley figure from that match also looks like trash
SS Bayley and Bret are GREAT figures minus their headsculpts
Legends 12 Nash irritates me because i love the figure except the half painted goatee

I guess probably Candice LeRae, just because I'm a big fan of hers and the time it took her to get an Elite led to a less than preferred look, for me at least.
I'd have preferred a blonde, "Tough Cupcake" styled Candice.
The face also wound up pretty rough on it.
I bought it anyway.

They could have re-used the same head as the basic, put the new hair on her, and done everything else the same and it would have been passable. Not good. Passable. As it is, I find both figures awful for different reasons. What's worse, a basic with the wrong sculpting or an elite with NO sculpting? |

im not even including basics in the discussion because they are just not really important to me anymore so things like that awful Edge with the green shirt are laughable and not "disappointing" one of the figures actually i was most disappointed with this year was the new elite MVP....maybe it's just the one i got, but it feels light/flimsy and extremely cheaply made. plus its too skinny and kind of lifeless expression. it was a figure i really wanted too considering his comeback, and i feel like its very underwhelming. Ultimate Kane's elbow paint thing was an incredible letdown but they are fixing it at least so that brings it back up Fan Takeover Rollins is an awful figure and not worthy of winning something like thatLegends John Cena was a pretty unnecessary and underwhelming figure IMO lastly, Wrestlemania Edge....woof. Other than it not being the attire some people wanted, what’s wrong with Fan Takeover Rollins? The only bad thing I could think of about it was his left armband being plain black instead of trimmed in gold like his right armband. I actually was quite happy with that figure tbh ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ But yeah… Mania Edge and Basic Edge with the painted shirt were pretty rough. |

As great as the WrestleMania Elite Shawn Michaels looks... It wasn't WrestleMania 23, which was disappointing.
