I guess probably Candice LeRae, just because I'm a big fan of hers and the time it took her to get an Elite led to a less than preferred look, for me at least. I'd have preferred a blonde, "Tough Cupcake" styled Candice. The face also wound up pretty rough on it. I bought it anyway. plus it came out to short, I still bought it as well because Iβve loved Candace Lerae years before she came to nxt |

Bald HBK, the new Ember Moon basic and RVD. The scan on RVD just doesnβt look right. I was hoping it would look better in person but it really doesnβt.

There were some truly insane bad women's figures this year. Like almost all of them. I guess I wouldn't call them disappointments personally because I wasn't looking forward to them.
Tegan Knox, that recent basic Ember Moon, and that new Elite Trish Stratus absolutely suck.
BAF Vince set having a Bret from WM26 is so funny that I'm shaking my head while I type this.
WM22 Elite Edge was dreadful. The torso sucked and the headscan just looked horrible. So disappointed by that release as I feel it could've been really well done.
New Elite Hogan with the Sheamus torso. Totally ruins that figure for me.
I will be honest and say that I was so, so, so disappointed when I first saw that unpainted UE Kane elbow. That is probably my biggest disappointment of the year.

None that I can think of. They were all fine. Some slight gripes but nothing major. Maybe I woulda picked up Studd if he had red stars but didnβt really need another Studd anyway. WM9 Hogan having the unpainted beard head sculpts were annoying but didnβt prevent me from buying em. Same with Kane's arm.

I personally went with legends Piper I really hate that head scan. Growing up watching him it doesn't capture an expression that he was known for. I also don't see the resemblance.

I was incredibly excited about Kane UE but really let down when I saw it in hand. Although, kudos to mattel for sending the right parts out.

I would say the UE Hollywood Hogan. The weight belt, headband and shirt are all bad, I wish they would get off this kick of always including the front ripped Velcro shirts with hogan.
SS hogan sucks but I will say if you're into customizing making it into No Holds barred Hogan a white headband distracts from the super white crazy eyes.
Hogan 91 the torso sucks but I rarely display without the full entrance gear so it won't bother me too much.
Legends Piper like other have said the face scan is bad also the kilt needs a belt. The Hollywood one is great though.
I would like to own a bret hart figure some day... but I might be 80 before they get a headscan right.

Well I only buy what I want, and can't comment on what I didn't purchase.
If I had to pick something, maybe legends bam bam, the figure feel hollow.
Ultimate Kane pre arm fix for sure.

Iβm still not seeing the issues with SS Hogan. In my opinion that was one of the better figures of the year. I quite like it. E91 Hogan on the other hand is just an abomination. The head, the freaking torso, the skin tone, the smooshed logo on the bandana. What the hell were they thinking? Total garbage. I think thatβs technically 2022 though.
2021 was Sid Justice. I wanted the basic as an elite, maybe in red trunks instead of blue. What we got was Sid Vicious. Good for the people who want the early WCW stuff, but that was NOT Sid Justice.

GTFOH π€¦ββοΈ I was initially a detractor of the Survivor Series Hulkster. The closeup shots of the face/eyes threw me off big time. But after seeing a few reviews of it on YouTube, several guys kept remarking how the face really isnβt so bad. Anyway, Santa brought me that figure for Christmas, and I think itβs great. Sure the portrait isnβt as nice as the upcoming WrestleMania 1 portraits, but it really is a nice, all around solid figure. I have him posed with the iconic hand-to-ear pose, and it looks fantastic. So unless you position an observatory telescope right over his face, itβs a real good figure.  |

Additional disappointment: WM Bret Hart being from 26, and not from 8, 9, 13, 12, 4, 2 etc etc not 2021 that's 2022 |
