Extremely inconsistent distribution. Here in Canada we get legends figures at Toys R Us, but not every series. Since Mattel relaunched the series here is how things have played out for us. Series 7: Not available Series 8: Available Series 9: Available Series 10: Not available Series 11: Not available Series 12: Available Series 13: Not Available Series 14: Partially available The same thing happens with the PPV series figures. We got the Survivor Series set in March, didn’t get the Royal Rumble set at all and just got the WrestleMania set at the beginning of May. It’s so unpredictable! What’s becoming the biggest pet peeve as of late is the cost. Inflation has been running 6-7% in Canada but we just got a 15% increase on legends figures. As a MOC and loose collector it’s forcing me to take a step back and choose one to keep MOC or loose as opposed to buying doubles of my favorites. I don’t want to sound too negative. I still really enjoy the hobby and think Mattel does some great work. I just see some opportunities for improvement that could take the experience to another level. Agreed on everything here. $34.99+tax for Legends 14 figures (just found Mean Mark and a tag for Edge) is a price I just can't continue with in terms of doubles. Also, never saw Legends 9 at all in Edmonton.

I'd still much rather pay that and have the figures actually available/in stores... we have to pay about £40 ($50 USD) plus postage (another £4/$5) for any Legends figures 🥴.

I get a lot of my stuff from thr US as well as Canada is very hit and miss. Wish Mattel would just carry these in their online store or Ringside and save non US collectors especially when Target clearances Legends for $7 US but only in store.

I wouldn't say it's a "collecting" figure per se but it irks me when YouTubers post a 20 second IG video clip of them unboxing or displaying a newly delivered wrestling toy with the wrestlers entrance theme playing in the clip as if to say "hey look at me, I got this, I pulled the sword out of a stone, give me a medal"! To me it's showing off and part of toy collecting that I don't like.
I can already see these YouTubers figure posing Rip and Zeus face to face with a 20 second clip of the No Holds Barred theme playing, ad naseum.

"Attire".
It hits my ear wrong. Bit awkward. Kinda dainty. I'm guessing it comes from when the video games introduced alternate costumes for the wrestlers, and fans adopted it from there. I'm not sure what would be better. "Costume" sounds fake. "Outfit" would be too girly. When I was wrestling we called it "gear", but that may have just been a local thing.
