Stole this from another site which looks pretty fun
Basically I am starting from Sept 1995 , the month WCW Nitro debuted. What I am going to do is post the ppv card for WCW and WWF for each month and YOU decide what PPV YOU would have watched if you could only have watched one.THIS IS NOT WHAT THE BEST PPV WAS BUT WHAT PPV YOU WOULD HAVE PICKED BY LOOKING AT THE CARD
You just mention what one, and why and maybe it'll lead to some discussions
Starting off
WCW FALL BRAWL 1995 from the Asheville Civic Center in Asheville, North Carolina.
Card 1)Johnny B Badd vs Brian Pillman 2)Craig Pittman vs Cobra 3)Diamond Dallas Page (with The Diamond Doll and Max Muscle) vsThe Renegade (c)
4)Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray) (with Sister Sherri) vs Bunkhouse Buck and Dick Slater (c) (with Col. Robert Parker) 5) Arn Anderson defeated Ric Flair 6)Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Lex Luger and Sting (with Jimmy Hart) vsThe Dungeon of Doom (Kamala, The Zodiac, The Shark and Meng) (with The Taskmaster) WAR GAMES
WWF IN YOUR HOUSE 1995 at the Saginaw Civic Center in Saginaw, Michigan.
Card 1) Savio Vega vs Waylon Mercy 2)The British Bulldog vs Bam Bam Bigelow 3)Dean Douglas (with Bob Backlund) vs Razor Ramon 4)Bret Hart vs Jean-Pierre Lafitte via submission
5)Diesel (WWF) and Shawn Michaels (WWF Intercontinental) vs The British Bulldog and Yokozuna (WWF Tag Team) (with Jim Cornette and Mr. Fuji)
Looking at this I would have taken the WWF PPV, I would be intrigued by the tag match and I secretly like the Bulldog/Bam Bam matchup. WCW card was weak to me. DDP hadn't broken through yet but I would have found WAR GAMES interesting. Arn vs Flair would have gained interest as well
What one would YOU pick

In this moment, I'd go with WWF on this one. Bret, Bam Bam, and Diesel/HBK/Yoko/Bulldog.

WWF for me.
The WCW War Games match looks interesting, but not as interesting as the Waylon Mercy character.

In Your House. Watch the OSW review on Fall Brawl 1995 if you haven’t seen the actual PPV. Much more entertaining than the show itself.

Gonna go with In Your House on this one over Fall Brawl
Diesel and Shawn Michaels winning the Tag Titles while being WWF World and IC Champions is a must for me over anything WCW was doing at the time.

Definitely In Your House for me. The triple header was so much fun.
I always had a lot of love for the In Your House PPVs.
Just a shame Bret Hart was wasted on having a fued with a pirate over his jacket!
Plus the fact we never got the In Your House PPVs here in the UK made the events always seem more appealing me. We had to make due with highlights on WWF Superstars on a Saturday evening. I would always buy the VHS tapes when they were released, usually a couple of months later.

WCW
Sting and Luger in War Games,Arn/Flair and the Pillman/Badd matches(Pillman was right up there with Sting for my favs at the time and really enjoyed JBB)would've had me way more interested then anything on the WWF show. Only thing there that interests me at all was the tag match but that wouldn't have been enough

That's what wins me over for sure Very interesting to see what would happen with tag titles if Diesel/Shawn win

Well, with the exception of WrestleMania (which I always ordered) if both companies had a PPV within the same month I always picked the WCW PPV’s over the WWE when they were having these events. So I will say WCW’s show.

WWF. In most cases it will be WWF for me. Back in the day my friends and I would get to together splitting almost every PPV from '96-'02. We did WCW shows too on occasion, but not like the WWF.

Remember this bad boy? 😂Oh yes. Those pains in the ass that would come out for PPV time and then back in a closet. I think it was around 2001 when Time Warner came out with the more updated boxes that are still in use these days for cable. They made things somewhat easier.

Welp the winner for September is WWF IN YOUR HOUSE 7-4
Now we move to October 1995
WWF IN YOUR HOUSE at the Winnipeg Arena in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
1)HHH VS FATU 2)The Smoking Gunns (Tag Champs) vs Razor Ramon and the 1-2-3 Kid 3)Goldust vs Marty Jannetty 4)King Mabel (with Sir Mo) vs. Yokozuna (with Mr. Fuji and Jim Cornette) 5) Razor Ramon vs Dean Douglas (c) for IC title-Originally was going to be Shawn Michaels vs Dean Douglas 6) The British Bulldog (with Jim Cornette)vs Diesel (c)for WWF title
WCW HALLOWEEN HAVOC from the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan
1)Johnny B. Badd vs Diamond Dallas Page (c) (with The Diamond Doll and Max Muscle) for WCW Tv title 2)Randy Savage vs The Zodiac 3)Kurasawa (with Col. Robert Parker) vs Road Warrior Hawk 4)Sabu (with The Shiek) vs Mr.JL 5)Lex Luger vs Meng 6)Sting and Ric Flair vs Brian Pillman and Arn Anderson 7)Hulk Hogan vs The Giant in a sumo Monster truck match 8)Randy Savage vs Lex Luger 9)The Giant (with The Taskmaster) vs Hulk Hogan (c) (with Jimmy Hart) for WCW title
This one is easy to me. WCW Halloween Havoc. In Your House, the only thing I see interesting is the title match (though I'm sure Diesel would retain, and the Shawn Michaels-Dean Douglas match which didn't even happen)
Havoc would gain my interest with the Monster truck match (how is that going to work), the tag match with Flair+Sting vs Arn+Pillman
So I'll go Halloween Havoc for OCT 1995
