i actually could only get 1 ppv that month and ordered UFC 9 instead of either wwf/wcw ppv's

So pre-March of ‘90 before my father passed we would get every wrestling ppv. But after that I would only get the WCW ones as well as the WrestleManias. And shortly after my father’s passing my mother went back to school where she ended up meeting up with a childhood friend of hers who worked in the school’s library. He would watch both company’s PPV’s and would record the WWF ones for me. But I always picked WCW’s and I would do the same today if I had to do it over.

King of the Ring 96 is one of my favourite new gen ppvs. I was all in on HBK Vs Bulldog so WWF gets my vote

WCW for me....I was absolutely hooked with the nWo stuff. I was 16 and bang in the middle of Eric's target audience. But in reality I seen both PPvs over here in Ireland.
Dont forget that GAB had Eric confronting The Outsiders etc....that was heavily pumped on TV.
