WWF. The Austin/McMahon feud was the hottest thing in wrestling. And the storylines going into the PPV were great. WCW didn't have a lot going for it, just the WW3 match and Bret/DDP match.

I would like to say WCW, but WWF had the better card.

WWF
You knew WCW was in trouble when they have guys like Jerry Flynn and Prince Iaukea on your biggest show of the year

WWF gets my vote this month.
I loved Austin vs Taker and I was very excited about Mankind vs The Rock as well, plus having Shawn Michaels back was awesome.
This is a very weak WCW PPV for me, outside of Nash vs Goldberg and the cruiserweight triple threat, not much interested me on the card.

WwF, that Starrcade undercard was horrible, you didn’t even know most of the card until the show outside of four or five matches. Didn’t help that the PPV actually sucked.

This one's hard because overall WWF is better BUT Goldberg with his undefeated streak vs Nash?? Hmmm

WWF for me. I was intrigued by how Nash vs Goldberg was gonna go but Halloween Havoc 98 absolutely wrecked me on WCW...of course the night after Starrcade would really do me damage with WCW

Another overbooking mess with Nash/Goldberg in the end
Instead of going a normal route of say have Nash hit em with 3 powerbombs for the win..nope lets involve a taser. Brilliant there WCW

Here in Ireland both shows used to air on Friday nights. I used to watch both from the time I was 16yrs to 19. My interest in WCW started to dim HUGE after Jan4th Nitro. I don't care what the Nash & Bischoff defenders say.....I was a regular viewer & It was a HAMMER BLOW for interest... Real eye rolling stuff. Only hope was that Goldberg would start destroying the new Wolfpac or at least feud with Hogan. But no....we got Hogan vs Flair part 20 instead.

WWF gets my vote for December.
I will never understand why so many stars were missing for WCWs ‘so called’ biggest show of the year for both 1997 and 1998. The cards are lacking star power.
