Looking forward to this set more than series 1. I think that’s in part due to Hogan burnout, though. I was too young for LJNs (even though my uncle game be Hillbilly Jim), but these do remind me of the Hasbro attires. I’m still upset my Rude broke 30 years later

Tre-freaking-mendous. I’m all in on these. First Ultimate Jake, first Ultimate Rude. I’m actually kind of psyched to get an arguably plain Rude as an Ultimate since it matches the Hasbro. Would’ve been fun to have Cheryl on the tights though. I only wish they’d done an ultimate Damien with numerous points of articulation 🤣 🐍 First time Ultimate Damien included. He’s fully poseable. |

There’s a lot of LJN looks I wouldn’t want. Piper in yet another Hot Rod shirt would not be that appealing. Nor would I want another red Orndorff. Even that Macho in those trunks wouldn’t be anything I’d be excited over and would come down to which robe they use. My top wants in their LJN looks would probably be:
Sheik/Hacksaw
Hart Foundation
Purple trunks Tito/Valentine

Man I've been anxious to open my SDCC sgt slaughter but seeing these I wouldn't be surprised if they redo him in the line. I'm going to hold off for now.

Man I'm already loving this line and we're only two waves in! For someone like me who's a huge fan of the golden era of WWE this line is a must have no matter who the talent is. And while the bank account isn't liking it much, I love that we're getting so many different sub-lines for Ultimates. If these sub-lines didn't exist our chances of getting a lot of these characters would not be possible. So huge thanks to Steve and everyone else for bringing us all these fantastic figures.
