WWF Just seeing Hogan vs Flair for title just....sigh......its 1995 all over Goldberg who is extremely over in a pointless feud with Bam Bam (no disrepect to Bam Bam, always liked him) Why isn't Goldberg going against Hall or Nash? 2 months later and he moved on? No Bret? No Sting? Piper, Love him, but him as US Champ in 1999?!??! Come on To be fair, Bam Bam had been attacking Goldberg since the fall of 1998, so it made sense they’d fight at some point, but I agree by 1999 that feud should have been settled and Goldberg should have been ripping the heads off Hall and Nash after Starrcade (before taking Hogan’s head and the belt back). WWF for me. Hogan/Flair in 1999 just didn’t appeal to me, even as a 9 year old. Vince getting his ass kicked was always must see tv.

Yea I get that about BAM BAM it's just dumb because right after losing to Goldberg he quickly fell down the card so it's almost like "what was the point of having him feud with your top face"

Finally got to Stone Cold vs Vince in an actual match, in a cage none the less. Def WWF, I remember me and my friends being so freaking hyped for this, Rock vs Mankind and The Giant’s WWF debut.

The Goldberg/Bam Bam feud did nothing for either man, and made no sense what so ever following Starrcade 1998. Both men continued to fall down the card while Hogan and his cronies continued to dominate the main event (Hogan, Flair, and Macho should have never held the world belt by 1999).

WWF in February for me. Austin/McMahon and Rock/Mankind is too good. Honestly shows how out of touch the head honchos at WCW were that in 1999 the Main Event for the World Title was Hogan/Flair.

Once you had NWO Elite and fumbling Wolfpac Vs. Hollywood that's unforgivable.

WWF.
One of the problems with WCW at this point in time was they were still giving feuds/matches we had seen for years, even decades (Hogan/Flair, Flair/Sting, Sting/Luger, Luger/Flair, Flair/Piper, Piper/Hogan, Hogan/Savage, Savage/Flair, etc.) WWF was starting to create new stars and feuds; WCW was stuck in the past. I have to agree with others, why was Goldberg not feuding with the NWO, he should have been like Sting in 1997 coming in and destroying the NWO until he got his match with Hogan to get his title back. I wasn't even a fan of Goldberg, but he was super over at the time, he should have been the focal point.

I know Bret had no issue with it since he loved Piper and piper put Bret over at Mania but WCW having Bret, a hot free agent singing lose the US title to Piper who had a awful PPV match 2-3 years earlier AND clearly past his prime is just so WCW

In March 1999, Bigelow lost to Rey Mysterio Jr., helping establish him as a "giant killer".[120][121] Later that month, he entered a tournament for the vacant WCW United States Heavyweight Championship, losing to Meng in the first round. He began competing in WCW's nascent hardcore division, including a triple threat falls count anywhere match against fellow ECW alumni Raven and Hardcore Hak at Uncensored,[122] a hardcore match against Hak at Spring Stampede,[123] a kendo stick match against Hugh Morrus on Monday Nitro,[44] and a hardcore match against Brian Knobbs at Slamboree.[124]

On paper, WCW is the better show than WWF for February.
So I am gonna pick WCW for this one.

WWF
Austin v McMahon and Rock v Mankind sell it for me.
I try to look at these objectively but can’t see one match on WCW card that sparks an interest. And to echo everybody else, Hogan and Flair should not have been near the main event of a major PPV at this stage.

Hmm, let’s see here. One show headlined by the two biggest stars of the 80’s against the culmination of the hottest angle in wrestling for the past year? Pretty easy, WWF.
