WWF.
The fact PPV time was giving to Van Hammer at that point in his career would have picked RR regardless but yeah.

WWF gets the win!
As I said before, I can't see any January with me not picking WWF.
The Royal Rumble - no matter how bad the rumble match is - will always get my pick.

Easy win for WWF
Austin and McMahon in the Rumble and Rock Vs Mankind dwarfs anything that WCW had to offer.
Also a very merry Christmas to my fellow old school wrestling fans 😄

Ugh. As we're basing this on the cards only I'll give this one to WWF, only for the Rumble itself.
It turned out to be probably the worst WWF event I have ever seen.

I think this was the start of the WWF leaving WCW in the dust. WCW still had some good/great moments in 1999, but WWF was exploding in popularity, and there was nothing WCW could do to stop it.

The WWF was undeniably on fire during this era, but their PPVs from 1999 have aged like milk.
Of course you still have the star power there. However, the in-ring stuff has just not aged well in my opinion. It doesn't help that WCW was in a total nosedive during the same period.

WWF
Just seeing Hogan vs Flair for title just....sigh......its 1995 all over
Goldberg who is extremely over in a pointless feud with Bam Bam (no disrepect to Bam Bam, always liked him)
Why isn't Goldberg going against Hall or Nash? 2 months later and he moved on?
No Bret? No Sting?
Piper, Love him, but him as US Champ in 1999?!??! Come on

WWF all the way
Austin Vs McMahon in a cage! Rock Vs Mankind! Nothing WCW offered came close to this. They had the roster to do so much better at this time.
