No complaints at all from me,a lot of the things other people complains about just doesn't worry me that much for a $20 fig. Not saying those people are wrong but just everybody has different standards I guess for the price point. I don't care if they make a lot of a certain guy/girl, I pick and chose anyway so its no big deal that I don't pick up a whole wave. I collect way to much stuff as is,I don't need to buy every elite in the wave. As long as they continue making great figs of guys I collect and enjoy,I'm here for the long haul.

They have their ups and downs, but I think they've been killing it recently. Only issue I really have is that their exclusives are often not distributed well in Canada and sometimes not at all

Loving the product. We’ve got the best company for sure.
I hope that one day they stop painting skin on figures and mold it instead. That’s literally my only change.
It’ll be interesting to see if they paint the skin on the upcoming Andre and Bret Ultimates.

I love mattel wwe lines too much and have spent way too much over the years. I love how the figures go so well together even ones from the early days to now. They can be displayed together well.
My only wish would be more legend talent signed and less reliance on the same legends over and over again. Guys like mr fuji, Haku, Jesse ventura, slick, one man gang, barbarian, Crush, Dino, Luna, Gangrel, Venis, Bad News, etc. I loved how classic superstars had nearly everyone on board but the look and scale was atrocious. Mattel kills it every time it's just a shame they don't have rights to so many talents.

So far so good. My only criticism is not having wider torso's and waist lines for taller superstars such as Undertaker, Kane and Kevin Nash. I also don't like the part choices on Goldberg and Stone Cold's thighs.

Collecting since Series 1 and still into it! A lot of cool improvements over the years! Not too many diappointments! Agree on Mattel Creations, UE, Legends! There have been some very sought after figures. Only thing I personally don't need is the Greatest Hits line. It's a tough decision for those who have a Harley Race and others for the value and those who never got the luck to get him! Overall very happy with Mattel and I hope they keep going for a bit! The big one to go would be a solid stage! How is your overall satisfaction with the line right now? A few years ago comments like "I hope Hasbro gets the license" were pretty common. And it seemed like for a short bit Jazwares was generating a lot of buzz. Now Hasbro has gone full heel turn with numerous price hikes and some messy PR situations with some of their fan bases that have that have generated mainstream negative press. Jazwares has been inconsistent and the AEW product overall isn't as hot as it was at various points. But it feels like the Mattel team has hit a groove. Big changes in my mind have been the success of the UE line, successful Mattel Creations campaigns, the Legends line, and some continued improvements in design. What are your thoughts? Has your buying changed in either direction?

I love the Ultimate Line. I think they are killing it. Sure I own too many Warriors and Hogans but the line rocks and displays so nicely. Some pros and cons though. Pro- No Lex Luger Ultimate Con- No Bayley Ultimate It'd be funny if both came together in the same line

I think they are doing quite a good job...probably an 8.5/10.
I collect a bunch of different lines from various manufacturers and they all have strengths and weaknesses. Hasbro is a mixed bag. I think they are killing it with the GI Joe Classified Series, but the Black Series line is not in the best place right now. Their pricing strategy is downright disrespectful in many cases.

Hasbro is getting what they deserve. Specifically when it comes to Star Wars. BUT, that doesn't have much to do with the quality of the product, which is still largely excellent. The GI Joe line is amazing, and the new Indiana Jones line also looks to be great. While they're not doing anything really awe inspiring with Power Rangers, I do think the Remastered Rangers are going to be worth it. So Hasbro is still hitting home runs from the production side for me. I think the price issue will course correct with the revolt. People are not buying or just waiting for clearance by the masses. It's beautiful.
Mattel is fine. They've kind of lost their way a bit with MOTU imo, which macro, Origins is an incredible line, but lately has been slow moving and hard to get. The Masterverse stuff is subpar and it's on clearance everywhere you go. I don't understand that approach. The WWE line has kind of been saved by Ultimates imo. There is just too slow an influx of new faces for my liking and the Ultimates have at least given new life to the same old thing we've gotten over-and-over again. Not to say we haven't gotten some gems, like The Goon, and with Heyman and The Headshrinkers on the way. But overall, Mattel still has the same problems they had ten years ago. Erratic part choices still being the most glaring issue for me, at least outside of talent availability. Inaccurate attires because Bill refuses to watch matches. It's a great run, overall. I'm happy to have so many figures, but I'm not currently excited about the line right now.
I definitely don't want a new company to takeover WWE figures. I absolutely don't want to start over. I'm fine with where the brand is at even if I think there is room for improvement. I don't think there is any kind of significant gap between what Mattel is giving us for $33 that other companies are doing in that same space. I do think Hasbro has better overall figures in most cases, but not to the point where I want to see a switch. McFarlane still makes horrid likenesses. So they're not even in the conversation for me. I like the AEW figures but they can't stay on pace in getting out product. That's been an under rated quality to the Mattel line is the consistency. It's stayed on pace over the course of 12+ years, and, if nothing else, that's kept me engaged.

What’s the deal with hasbro? Why they getting grief? Specifically price gouging, but Star Wars has had its own plethora of problems over the last two-ish years with part using on figures in strange places and repaints/rereleases, often times with inferior versions of figures. Like Lando rotting pegs, going to Five Below, and then ending up in the Archive wave, just as an example. Marvel Legends has had some similar problems. People also don't like the packaging change, which is a bit of a residual issue of the price increase. Since the package is now cheaper and prices have gone up $7 in a year and a half for base Marvel Legends. $50 Starting Lineup figures because they wanted to be in the NFT business. They've just had a series of high profile strikeouts with collectors. The new Eternia line has me intrigued/ the two bad looks phenomenal imo but yet to have one in hand. I don't mind some of the design choices, but I think the product is poor. Poorly painted, poor plastic. I got the movie He-man and Skeletor Masterverse figures and they're dollar store figures compared to the Super7 Classics versions. We've discussed it in the MOTU thread but they're not nearly as good as Classics, and they don't have the same nostalgia as the Origins line. So they're just a weird floater for me. The 40th He-man is so poorly painted. Which is a bummer because that one should have been a must have for me. Plus, the lineups are all over the place because they're trying to serve so many masters with it. Although, now that Origins is like 80 figures in, they could easily do more 200x, Revelation, and She-Ra figures to continue to build on the amazing work they've done. It seems more of that energy is going into Masterverse, though. Just not for me.

It seems more of that energy is going into Masterverse, though. Just not for me. Just to add to this a bit, the GI Joe line just laid off their lead designer even though the line seemed to be well received. The brand management team has also been very condescending towards collectors and they've been putting out pre-orders absurdly far in advance as a cash grab. There have also been a ton of issues with imprint Wizards of the Coast, which controls Dungeons & Dragons and Magic the Gathering. Both had pretty major PR flubs that were widely panned by their collecting community. Bank of America has been very critical of Hasbro stock because Hasbro is trying to exploit short term profits from Magic at the expense of customer satisfaction and are basically killing the golden goose. Agreed that Hasbros design work has remained great. But they've basically burned a ton of bridges with collectors, and it's catching up with them in a big way.

My satisfaction with Mattel has never dipped. They've consistently produced at least 20 figs a year I've wanted for many years so long may it last 👏👏👏

I give them an 8/10.
Only real opportunity for improvement is talent selection but that’s out of their control.
I’d also like to see a bit of a QC improvement when it comes to paint apps.

7/10 for me.
3 issues. 1) rereleases suck! 2) the cardboard they are using is paper thin. As an international MOC collector, it’s basically impossible to get mint figures. 3) the next crowd fund is doomed. It’s likely going to be a massive stage or something, costing $300ish. I wish they’d just use the crowd funds for figures.
Beyond that, they’re doing great!

For the $25-30 price point range pretty good. Better than Marvel Legends, and SW Black series, but behind Classified Joes.

I collect a lot of toy lines, and, overall, Mattel has ben doing a MUCH better job than Hasbro lately. Hasbro keeps raising retail prices, and giving you less with each figure, while overall quality control seems to be going down (less durable plastic, more paint flaws), etc.. Plus, Hasbro has been transitioning to "plastic free packaging," meaning figures come in solid boxes, so it's impossible to tell if there are paint flaws, missing parts, etc., without opening them. This has also made "figure swapping" much easier for scammers. Hasbro's current CEO (of the past 2 years) is doing a terrible job running things. Mattel is also much more consistent in getting good likenesses than Jazwares. Overall, the biggest issue with Mattel is distribution, but that seems to be an issue with most toy companies these days, unfortunately. So, I think Mattel is the best company for the WWE license.
