It’s petty I know, but I am going to pass on this set mostly because DDP isn’t in jeans. That was the figure I was hoping for and don’t care for the rest of the selection. I’d rather have Scott Steiner in a different gear and I’m sure that will come out before too long. The stage is neat but I don’t have the space for it. They thought you wanted warrior in jeans. Honestly, street gear needs to stay with elites or basics, ultimates should never be in street gear, as it defeats the purpose of having ultimates with elaborate gear attached. (DDP is different as he wrestled in jeans for awhile so it would have made more sense here)

I’m probably gonna end up backing it assuming it gets fully funded and all the tiers unlocked. Will likely then sell off the stage, Rey, and DDP.

I will buy this but I wish they would just sell the stage for $250 and drop all of the figures. The stage is by far the highlight of this project. For you. The Ultimates are a big selling point. It’s the major reason the last one got funded and the ring/entrance got sold off by a lot of people. I expect the same here. Especially given a lot of people don’t have room for the stage.

Well, I am all in on this. I will be happy to pay the $400 to get the stage and just Rey if need be. With the lights and such, this seems to me to be a great value, to be honest. Will be interesting to see how this goes. This is the most exciting thing coming up to me, hands down - I was always more of a WCW guy than WWE during the Monday Night Wars, so this is a dream to me.
I was under the understanding that Sting's contract may be up soon with AEW, and if that is the case, he very well could come back to a Legends deal with WWE, and if so, he would be PERFECT for a release with the WCW Ring, similar to Kane and the WWE ring.

This thing is almost 4ft wide, I have no space for this. Maybe they should have done a retro-sized one or something.

We need someone who could buy like 30 sets. Still gets me upset that Sting isn't available. He would of been the perfect choice for this set. Ringside should buy some sets too... This is exactly why I just wanted the stage by itself. It could of been $250 by itself and I'd be okay with it. I still can't believe we got that yellow and red Hogan man. 97 Starrcade is a much better choice. Also, as someone mentioned, the nWo takeover sign would of been a sweet bonus. *Matt cardona

Austin would be an exception to the rule, seeing as how 80% of stone cold on tv was jorts, but I don't have any fond or other kind of memories of warrior wearing jeans at all lol

Don't know how this would work. But having a booth at axess where fans could fund this in person. Would def increase sales and help us get warrior

(DDP is different as he wrestled in jeans for awhile so it would have made more sense here) Warrior is probably Mattel’s biggest legends seller. It’s a smart move to have him be the final tier to motivate more people to back it, especially in its final days. And him in jeans is probably his most remembered and requested look from that era. Especially considering how much his WCW UE is going for in the secondary market.

looking at the Steiner more. The head looks great. And the torso and arms are great too. I wish the tan leaned more towards the red tint then yellowish brown tho.

If unlocked, Will warrior include his duster? Yes, as per Steve's Instagram. If I read this correctly, does this mean the 4th tier has not been revealed yet?

I hate to say it but...
I can't help but feel like this should've been a RAW IS WAR stage.
Would have been the preferred stage by many collectors FIRST, and then release the Nitro one after based on reaction.
I think people would've liked the choices of characters, arguably more than the 5 chosen for this set.
Less LEDs required and *seems* smaller to me than the Nitro stage. I would like to think that it could've been a cheaper price point than this one.
And of course, it fits with the ring they just put out. Some people still have the Nitro conversion kit for their old scale ring from Ringside in like 2016. Now we have no WCW ring or we have a Nitro ring/conversion kit on the way. So if you want the entire Nitro arena, you are out of luck or you need to spend another $60-$140 to complete the ring when/if Mattel drops it.
I don't wanna be negative but it just seems to me like the RAW stage was the move.

Just realized no chain mail for Scott. WTF? i dont think he started doing that till his singles run. Post-NWO. when he was wearing shorts. This is based on his heel turn. When he joined the NWO in 1998. He had a plain singlet for like a month. Then added the airbrushed designs

I do think it still sells more though.

Since there is clearly a popular consensus here, I personally feel the only thing deflating the hype is a couple of the figures, however, if Mattel came out and said there will be a set in the future for a ring, skirts, announcer tables and figure would this prompt any of you to back this project?
