Looking at that figure selection again, barring Steiner, not the most impressive lineup. Rey's similar to E100 (Good fig, but the E100 is more visually striking), we've gotten DDP in that look twice in the line so far and the aftermarket price isn't that insane on it, and I can't think of anyone clamoring for another red and yellow Hogan or Warrior

Looks like the stage and Steiner are what I want most here, the rest I can do without, but it feels super weird to have zero NWO rep when they're the ones who added fuel to WCW's fire in the Monday Night War, which they're banking on in the promotion so far.

You wanna know what would have been a better early bird than debut Hogan? Scott Hall from his first appearance on Nitro. Such an iconic look I wouldn't expect to be made in the main line, it would've been a perfect inclusion, especially if we're driving that Monday Night War theme home in the marketing.

That said, I understand likeness rights and having done other figures from the era already in Ultimate form, but could you imagine a redone Hollywood Hogan? Sting would have been a BEAUTIFUL inclusion and I'd fork over the funds right there.

I still say DDP in jeans would have been better over this look we've seen already in Elite form.

Stage looks just as amazing as I expected. Like a lot of people, I am also disappointed with the figure lineup. I assume most of these are cost cutting measures since a lot of the tooling on Hogan, Rey, and Warrior can be reused. The commentary desk and Bischoff would have been great additions, or maybe a Heenan.

I understand why we are not getting WCW Bret Hart, because if we got him, we would also need El Dandy.

I’ll pledge for it, but may cancel it if we don’t get to Steiner at the very least. Unlike Doink, I don’t see one figure in this set that would not be an Ultimate at some point in the future (or has been in the past)

Every Hogan is in red and yellow with the only difference being the shirt design, if he has the yellow wrist bands or not, and if he’s got an 80s or 90s build. This figure is incredibly similar to the WM9 figure, so as an incentive it’s weakened because of this.

You telling me that someone who never bought a Marvel Legend or maybe just a couple of their favorites over the years didn’t get wind of the Galactus crowdfund and ended up backing it? Or with the GI Joe Hiss Tank. That wasn’t anyone’s entry point into the Classified line? Plus the Mattel line has been alive for well over a decade. There hasn’t been anyone that stopped collecting in those years where this may be the piece that lures em back in?
