Next Crowd Fund will be EXPENSIVE

You telling me that someone who never bought a Marvel Legend or maybe just a couple of their favorites over the years didn’t get wind of the Galactus crowdfund and ended up backing it? Or with the GI Joe Hiss Tank. That wasn’t anyone’s entry point into the Classified line? Plus the Mattel line has been alive for well over a decade. There hasn’t been anyone that stopped collecting in those years where this may be the piece that lures em back in?

I think we forget that New Gen got like 6K backers in a day. There wasn’t any motivation to back it after that because they didn’t add anymore tiers and cut off the ability to get Savage. That’s not the case this time. Hogan unlocks if funded within a week and will be available even if you get in late. Also, Nitro is a much more popular brand averaging something like 5 million viewers a week during its peak. The Nitro stage is a lot more iconic and eye catching than a neon entrance and another ring. Plus Hogan and Warrior bookending tiers will get people in early and late.

Every Cena is the same, as is every Stone Cold, every Roman, every Rock. It’s the accessories that differentiate them. Hogan is the most recognizable wrestler ever, in attire we’ve never gotten before, that’s been requested by numerous members of this community, that fits perfectly with the theme of the set. I get the gripes with Rey and DDP, but complaining about a yellow and red WCW Hogan is something I can’t wrap my head around.

Yes Hogan wore the red & yellow when Nitro debuted (which is what this stage represents, Nitro's early years).

You seem conflicted - like you should buy this even though you didn't watch WCW? If it's just the figures you'd want, just buy them on the secondary market - it'll be way cheaper than $400. I can understand that this isn't going to be for everybody;

I'm just hoping there are enough WCW fans left (such as myself) to get this funded in-full.

My main disappointment is that there is no Eric Bischoff figure; He was integral to WCW Nitro and should be part of this set. I'd have also been happy with a late-career Mean Gene Okerlund who was a huge part of Nitro. Booker T is also a glaring omission - and no Nitro set is complete without Sting and Flair (I understand why they're not here).

I hope this meets 11K but I have my doubts - I will be a day-One backer - I watched WCW Nitro every week while it was on! I'm a huge WCW fan and always will be - besides my minor gripes I'm thrilled with this set and hope it becomes a reality!
