While this is cool it's a big pass. If it goes through with all tiers I'll buy steiner, ddp, and rey off ebay or something. Would have made more sense for a raw is war entrance stage or a hell in the cell. You know for the ring they just released and you can still purchase. Yeah could you imagine a Raw is War stage with an Ultimate Mankind, Triple H, China, Trish, Lita, and Kurt Angle? Totally agree on the talent choices. I honestly do like the choices for the set overall, and they could have even made some stronger choices. But I think some 1997-2001 RAW guys would've been a more popular choice. |

I think what Mattel did here was release the Raw ring for people to get this stage and wait for the WCW conversion kit through Mattel creation. Then somewhere down the line release a Raw stage for those who originally got the Raw ring. Had it been the other way around maybe less people would be inclined to buy a Nitro stage if they already had the full Raw getup.

Only ppl hating on it are the ones who can’t afford it. In this regard, I do wish Mattel and this board and the figure Facebook groups/etc. would ALL emphasize that we can all pay with payment plans. Payments plans are the way to go on big-ticket figure items. $100 a month or whatever for something as amazing as this is a complete no-brainer in my book. I completely get being spooked by a $400 price tag, but I really think we as a community need to be made aware that payment plans are the way to go with items like this. (It's the only way anyone buys Hot Toys, for example.) Absolutely agreed. There might be reasons why Mattel can't actively promote those options - endorsement of financial services can be messy. But if it's a product you want, definitely good options available. I get the people who just don't have the space or aren't interested. But I think the value for money is absolutely there (at least for US costs), and for anyone of a certain age this is such nostalgia rush. |

I won't hate on anyone who says this just isn't for them if they're not a classic guy or a WCW guy or what have you. We all have different wrestling tastes. But from a financial perspective (and people can hate on Cardona all they want but I think he was 1000 percent spot-on with this with the New Gen ring) I do think the wrestling figure community needs to almost be educated/get used to this kind of process. Nobody is buying $300-500 Hot Toys straight up, everyone uses payment plans. And to Sideshow's credit, it's like the default pay option. I do wish Mattel could pump that up a little bit more but you might be right in that there's reasons they can't be more up front about that aspect. |

I simply don't have the space for the stage, that's why I sold off the new gen stuff, I'll be doing the same with the stage of I decide to back it up, and I'll back it and if all the tiers aren't reach, I'm gonna pull out

You know what really bugs me? That Steiner's singlet is incorrect. The shape should be more of a U shape and is more V shaped. It's not hard to find reference pics. I also don't like how we're consistently getting those cheap painted biker trunks. Could we not get get MOLDED BIKER TRUNKS? This is the singlet I wanted, I'm assuming some details were left off. I do know he wore one without details. For a figure of this caliber there shouldn't really be many mistakes. The V shape of the singlet really bothers me as well. Not sure what happened there. |

What a ripoff.” Austin was one of the worst parts choices I’ve seen in a ultimate Rock I somewhat agree we don’t need another rock but give him a nice cloth shirt and most will buy it Undertaker came with a great scan but only for display, we NEED another taker Triple h I wouldn’t mind Mattel to take another crack at it These would be much better options then a a 100th hogan and 100th warrior |

What a ripoff.” Could have still worked if the UE were of attires we never got before. The Rock and SCSA in promo attire. ABA Taker, DX Triple H. All of that sounds better than what was offered in the WCW set other than Scott Steiner. |

UE wrestling gear Vince, Angle and Mankind would all be slam dunks people want. If you wanted to do Triple H, have X- Pac or other members of DX to go with them. You might actually be able to get away with something like a SCSA re-release as an early bonus assuming the Vince is the one that comes with the set guaranteed. |

Secondly if this reaches around 5k backers, we should still get Hogan, Mysterio and entrance, but not for $400. I really want the entrance, but I don’t see this reaching 11k backers. People who are always on here crying and complaining are the same ppl who over think things like getting figures knowing will never happen. So when stuff is revealed they’re just more let down because they thought we would get Raw and Nitro stage with King Kong Bundy, LOD, Demolition, Herc and OMG. So when reality hits they get mad. This is why you don’t get on here and read into rumors and such. |
