It has until May 6 to get backed. All this means at the moment is we probably don’t get Hogan. Just wonder though how many people might back out if Hogan is not unlocked as that does depreciate the value. I am sure there will be some, but at the same token we still have until May 6 to unlock Steiner, DDP and Warrior.

It’s all about momentum though When Steve was asked why if hogans unlocked even those who back after get him and he said it’s to hopefully continue momentum. This things run out of juice imo and momentum’s very low. Hopefully it gets backed for those who want it but I think of hogans not unlocked that’s unlikely

It’s around 30 dollars to Australia Theres no way something of that size and weight would ship in the US for $30 let alone to the other side of the world. I also plugged in an address in Europe I would have it shipped to and it came up to roughly $35.

It’s a shame this is how it ended up but I’m not surprised

The way I see it Rey’s the figure that comes with the set. And they are(were) throwing Hogan in as a bonus to reach the 5000 today. But they aren’t the important figures in the set. The important ones that will move this are Steiner, DDP and Warrior. So as long as they are still on the table after today’s deadline I sill see it hopefully getting funded. For me personally I saw what they were offering and made the decision that even if it didn’t reach all its tiers as long as it hit 5000 and went into production I would be happy. They figures would just be the icing on the cake, but it’s 100% the stage I backed this for.

I think it’s different snd cool and stands out against other ring gear warriors

Just backed it via payment plan. Hoping we get it backed, but not holding my breath unless we get a better incentive.

And that to me was worth the $461 it will cost me if it gets funded.

all we are really going to learn is that $400 is a bridge too far for a crowdfund. And that most wrestling figure collectors don't have arena setups at a large scale.
Which we already knew both of these things.
Hopefully Mattel's takeaway is that $250 is the max for a crowdfund item. For $400 u damn sure should've been giving ppl the Nitro ring, commentary setup Mongo and Larry Z commentators and a WCW referee. An entrance stage and 4 figures...of which ppl kinda only want one of them. And the one they want is missing almost all the logos on his gear. That isn't gonna cut it at 400+ bucks

yeah, I'll admit I was wrong. Thought we would see a huge surge today, but not happening. Oh well. It is not the end of this as it can still get funded. Time for Steve and the boys to pull out their plan B. If it were me I would do a swap of Big Poppa Pump with Rey and make DDP the final week special. So still we would get 2 figures at 5k units plus the stage, however it would be the two figures that 95% of really all collectors would want

That isn't gonna cut it at 400+ bucks For a demo this small and this niche? Absolutely. HasLab has crushed some of their $350 - $400 crowdfunds, but the expanse between the mass appeal of a five year time frame in a defunct wrestling promotion and something with the reach of Marvel or Star Wars is about the same as between the option of a fine dining experience prepared by a world renowned chef or a root canal. Even there, Hasbro has had missteps where they've learned what works (Galactus) and what doesn't (Robbie Reyes?!)

Far more are interested in just figures Some figures go on the secondary market for a couple of hundred + so people are willing to spend but only on something that they really want

I’m sure the international folks would definitely buy most your stock as they are getting charged far more than they should is what most have claimed

I had no involvement in us carrying the last crowdfund and it was news to me when it came to fruition - it was also only a few pieces. It's possible but if you're looking to get it guaranteed the crowdfund is probably the best way.

There was never a universe where this stage was going to cost less than $3-400.
