It comes down to two things -
1. You want it, you have the money for it and purchase it
2. You don't want it, don't get it.
To me - I want it but £480? It's too much. I won't have the money to save up for it in time unless I borrow it from people.
Out of the Ultimates would love to get Hulk Hogan or DDP.

The more I read the breaking down of prices for U.K. the more mad I get and determined not to back this.
£324 would be the current price + postage - that I think represents a decent deal if most things got unlocked.
Yes, I'd pay customs, but not for over a year and would be around £60.
On Mattels current estimate I'd pay £470 now plus postage. That extra £146 right now for pretty much nothing pushes it to unaffordable.

I am definitely getting this and will be happy if it just gets the minimum, to be honest. The stage is the thing for me. It is not something I will have up and displayed permanently, but on those occasions that warrant it, I will be extremely glad I have it.
To put it in perspective, in my situation, I really wanted the Hasbro Jabba's Sail Barge, but could not afford it at the time. So I didn't get it. I regret it to this day, but could not afford it. I am now in a position where I can afford these things, so I am not going to miss out, but again, that is me personally.

Im sure this thread would be flooded with complaints if they were asked to pay that price for it. Then you have the aggravation of having to wait for it for a year. Then also, who knows what pre orders they will have at the Wrestlemania reveals and possible Coliseum Collection Series 3. |

Let's be honest with the reasons Hogan, Warrior, Rey and DDP are here. They are all existing figures they can re use molds and parts for. The DDP everyone wants is obviously going to see a mass release so if that's the case do I really have a need for this DDP considering it's already been made several times. If they were going to do another Hogan at least go with his all black pre NWO look so it's not another red and yellow and probably a less likely candidate for mass release. I also think they need to add more accessories to all of these figures. A robe for Rey is what his Legends figure came with and that one had a title. The mass release is also probably why they didn't choose names who make more sense like Booker and the Outsiders. Yeah, the tooling budget definitely went to the stage. As it should. Tooling for larger pieces is very expensive. These figures are still pretty involved and high deco. Look at other crowd funded campaigns - the figures are VERY bare bones, with limited or no accessories. These aren't the most detailed or high demand figures ever. But those expectations were never reasonable to begin with. I really think the figures are getting a bad rap because Mattel released the pics w/out the full accessories; I've wanted a WCW Red & Yellow Hogan for years, and I was very underwhelmed when I saw the pic, but then when I read that it's coming with 2 shirts, etc.... I'm psyched. Same with Warrior - I saw the pic and said "who is that?" But when Warrior has his Nitro debut Duster, I think it's going to be something that people really want..... I'm mostly fine with the figure choices, I do wish they had included an Eric Bischoff though. If they were going to do an Ultimate Bischoff, this would have been the way to get it in, unless they're going to pair him with a WCW Nitro Ring or Commentary Table. I could be wrong but it seems like this is getting a lot more chatter than the New Gen Ring did. I'm hoping that means there's a lot of interest, even if some of the comments are negative. No, I can't afford it, No, I don't have space for it....but I'm going to have to dust off my backup credit card because this isn't something I'm willing to NOT buy.... I'll be thrilled if this out-performs everyone's expectations and we meet all the goals in the first week or two! |

I think it’ll be a slow crawl to 5K but there’ll be a surge on 4/7 to get it there. It’ll crawl again for the next couple weeks and another surge on 5/5 to get it over 11K. |

I just hope all the tiers get unlocked. If it gets funded, I expect the New Gen treatment with more UEs down the line etc. We need more WCW figures. I think I'll be truly satisfied and I think it might be the end of my collecting days to an extent. Random question for you guys, do you ever see yourself reaching a point to where you're done collecting? Like getting a full roster of characters and realizing there's nothing else to collect?

Hit it on the head. There are a few things that I don't necessarily think were addressed, but not sure how they would address them: ❎ I don't want something that takes up a ton of space, like another ring or huge play set ❎ Don't do it during WrestleMania week ❎ Don't make me spend significantly more than $250 They're truly damned if you do, damned if you don't. I think this crowdfund will be pretty telling as to which direction they go next: Will the next crowdfund be bigger? Similar size? Or significantly smaller and less risky? |

Just not for me. None of those figures would entice me either. Steiner is the best one and It’s not like they aren’t going to make another Scott Steiner figure down the road.
Hope it gets funded for those who want it.
