Whats even more strange is that Toybiz was also making Marvel figures at the time so how they wouldve allowed it, I have no idea. Oh yeah, I totally forgot about ToyBiz making Marvel toys. I think a lot of their Marvel figures were better than a lot of Hasbro's. They did have wonky bodies, but the paint, sculpts and washes were all fantastic. Were they? I thought ML was after the WCW lines. I think the WCW line ended in 2001 and ML started in 2002. I know the Surfer Sting, ML Cyclops and the TNA AJ Styles all shared the same torso. But I thought the WCW line had already ended when the Ml started.

Glad the changes were made to the tiers and thank you Steve for listening to us. Hopefully before time runs out on this crowd funder it reaches its goal, but also surpasses it too. Best thing to do is to remain hopeful till the end cause you never what might just happen. As for the Scott Steiners figure it's fine to me inaccurate or not at least we are finally getting him in the line especially let alone an Ultimate Edition with three headscans! Three more than we did before he got signed a deal with Mattel/ WWE! Plus there will be more to come I take what I can get now.

I had the first NWO Scott Steiner Toybiz figure. It was the white singlet in the series with Booker, Benoit, and Bret in the Ring Fighters series that came with the pieces of that ring. He had no Superman logo on that figure. He only had a silver star with the NWO logo in the center. It looks like that figure got a repaint with a red star and the S logos on the side that was released several times. And I’m seeing a black singlet with a silver star and S logos, but I don’t see it in packaging. Maybe it was a variant of the original Steiner figure. I remember Toybiz had a few variants like the Scott Hall in NWO Wolfpac and NWO Hollywood variants in the first line.
But anyway, it looks like this Ultimate Scott is an homage to that original figure but it’s missing the NWO logo. That figure is literally what I think of when I think of NWO Scott Steiner. I forgot he had Superman logos or any other deco on his real attire.

Hey Steve,
In the unfortunate scenario where this doesn’t make it all the way to 5,000 backers, do you think there is a chance we will ever see a simplified version of the Nitro Stage? Something with fewer electronic functions, more cost effective materials, and/or possibly a reduced size?

Straight up as much as I love the 2 potential figures I just want that stage. I’d literally pay up to $1,000 for that thing it’s a centerpiece showcase item for any WWF/WCW collection

ToyBiz Marvel Legends don't hold up for the most part unfortunately. Ugly joints and awful proportions plagued that line. I'll always have a soft spot for Series 4 Punisher though i remember being annoyed at the time because he didn't have a torso joint. but all these years later, i can safely say he was in my top 5 marvel legends figures Weirdly one of the only ToyBiz era ones I had. I'm not even a big Punisher fan or anything, I just ended up with him as a gift but he's such a good figure.
I'm also a huge fan of diorama and display pieces, and that line was so amazing for stuff like that. Those bases were incredible and huge, and they just came packaged with normal figures! I've got bases from that line that I've never owned the figures for.

For other Steiner figures, they could do this style "S" for his tights. Even though it may not be 100% accurate for all of his gear, it might be better than nothing.

Hopefully this is what his upcoming Elite will look like. Oh and Steve, any chance of changing the Elite line to E-1337?
