What does that have to do with nostalgia? Millions of people stopped watching TMNT, GI Joe, MOTU when they were taken off the air. Millions of people hate every Star War that’s not the original trilogy. You don’t have to be engrossed in the modern day iteration of the product to have nostalgia for something and want to buy merchandise. Plus New Gen was a generation before then and even less popular causing millions to stop watching. Nitro and the Monday Night Wars is what brought a lot of them back. You really dont seem to understand what tribalism is. However if you truly believe there are just thousands more people who love WCW and are just chomping at the bit to get this and for some reason just haven't done it in the month plus they've had the opportunity and are waiting till the final day to back it. Then I guess we'll find out how true that is in 15 days, but butts to nuts, the numbers don't lie and they lean towards one of our stances. I don’t think you’re completely wrong or anything close, especially in the sense that there aren’t millions of WCW fans waiting to back or etc. however that being said, I still price and size are bigger impediments. In fact, I’ll go a step further: Probably a controversial opinion, but I think a Raw is War stage at the same or higher price point with the same type of figure tier layout would also be struggling to be funded.

I absolutely agree that the price and size are the two biggest factors. I just think the nostalgia or lack there of is a contributing factor as to why people aren't willing to pay that much.

My fear of this is if it doesn't reach it's goal, that they will never do a crowdfund or future playsets. I know both Bill and Steve said if the New Generation crowdfund wasn't successful there wasn't going to be another one. For me it's simple, either support or don't. We'll see what happens in 15 days.

Wake up everyone or wwe crowdfunding is over (You’re sure teaching Mattel a lesson on this). It’ll be a sad day for our collections. $400 is only 150 more than the last one and this is much bigger and better. Who cares about space.. it sounds like people are put off they can’t fit it on permanent display. Oh well, I’d only bring it out once in a while anyways. The box/packaging will be awesome I hope we get to see it.

Even if it were "only 150 more", that's groceries for weeks, that's gas for the month, that's an electric bill, plenty of people are awake and aware that the dollar is as precious as ever. Why would I pay 450 bucks for something that I wouldn't display year round and have it sit in my closet when I could use that money for a TV or console or computer that will be used year round. If Mattel decides to not crowdfund ever again because they made dumb decisions and people didn't just lap it up, then good, if you reward that crapthey will just get worse.

Personally, I wouldn't really mind. But it would suck for those who like this sort of thing. At the end of the day though, if the market's not there for them, then the market's not there - and if this thing fails to get backed, it proves there's just not enough interest. I do think with the way Mattel have fudged this up though, they should at least try one more time with something around or under the $300 mark.

It got like 1 backer today. This is not going to move to any significant degree til the final day That's gonna be a huge hurdle, assuming this trend continues it'll be at the very best 45% backed and then you are hoping it more than doubles the amount of backers it got over a month+ in a single day and that to just get it made. INB4 "The New Gen Arena did it", it didn't, it was at 60% 2 weeks before the funding ended and the thing that pushed was the Macho early bird and once it hit 5k it took off even farther because it was guaranteed to get made. This has nothing to do that, requires more backers and is nearly double the price. Lies. With 12 days to go the New Gen was at 46%

Of the two dollar amounts listed, it's closer to 150 more because there were taxes and shipping on the last crowd fund. It's $160 more than the New Generation set was - well, at least for US costumers, not sure about non-US backers. And to think of it that way, it's not that bad considering this is much larger and we had/have the possibility of getting 2 more UE figures.

This here 560 Euros

New gen cost ukers about £250 after customs, including shipping. Which was a little more than it would have been solely due to the pound’s value at the time of shipping
£509 is more than double that price. And we’re honestly getting less
New gen was: Diesel UE - FTITL Doink UE - FTITL - completely impossible in main line due t obscurity Macho Man UE - completely impossible in the main line due to deco A light up entrance A ring 2 sets of alt ring skirts
This is A stage Rey Mysterio UE - attire already released as elite Scott Steiner UE - FTITL
For double the price.

After looking up my orders it’s $172 more than last time. I forgot that I didn’t get charged tax on the NG order.

Right but this stage cost alot more then the stage we got for the NG set. Look at the size difference between the two so they cant offer as much since most of the cost is going to the stage.
